Bambi Takeover (spelled in lowercase) is a mod taking place in the Vs. Mami mod, based off of Vs. Dave And Bambi and Bambi's hatred for anime, made by headshotsniper. This mod is not canon to the original Mami mod.
Plot[]
The plot is the same for the original mod, however on the third song cutscene the camera cuts to Bambi's farm where he's experiencing the immense shaking caused by Mami's scream. He starts floating (and eventually teleporting) to the subway, where Boyfriend is just standing there doing the "Hey!" pose. Boyfriend then notices Bambi and then has a confused look, before the lights go out again.
Halfway through the third song, an explosion can be heard while the scene cuts to black. Eventually you can see Bambi replacing Mami's spot, and the song changes.
At the end of the song, Bambi starts counting down to 1, and then Homura is replaced with Dave, with her nowhere to be seen. The end dialogue reveals that he teleported from the subway to the backstage.

Bambi is the antagonist of his own week.

Bambi has the appearance of a small farmer with a green hat, red shirt, and blue overalls.
Personality[]
Bambi is a hot headed, easily annoyed by anything, and thinking that everyone who enters his farm is just there to steal his corn, as he is obsessed with corn and loves it, he tries to stop people kicking them out of his farm (Bambi refers to this as "block"), however when someone beats him (e.g. Boyfriend) he starts threatening that he will break his own phone, when he breaks his own phone, he backs off and say that it's a draw. He is shown to be pretty naive, thinking that he has a real phone and not knowing that it's a brick.

Mami, full name being Mami Tomoe is a character from the Madoka Magica series.

Appearance[]
Mami has very curly blonde hair, usually in twin drills. In her Magical Girl form, she has a beige skirt with black tips, and her top is a short-sleeved white shirt with puffs and arm warmers. In between her skirt and her top, she has a brown corset-like clothing garment. She also has a small black hat with white fur with a fake flower, coming out of it, as well as gray and white striped leggings, and black and yellow knee-high boots.
Trivia[]
- For her defeat icon, Mami's head comes off of her neck. This is a reference to Mami being decapitated in episode 3.
- This is also referenced in the menu art, although her head is now retracted into her neck.
- Mami's appearance in the song Salvation, is taken directly from Holy Mami, a form she assumes in the Magia Record game after being brainwashed by the Magius.
- All other poses of Mami's second Salvation sprites are unable to be seen because she does not appear on the second half.

- The song that Salvation changes to on the second half is just the second part of Applecore, from Vs. Dave And Bambi: Golden Apple Edition.
- The image that replaces the spoiler screen is a sticker from the Dave and Bambi Discord Server, and is taken from a Dave and Bambi 2.5 Showcase.[1]

- Getting the bad endings is caused by getting a game over on certain parts of the "Salvation" song, or by other methods.
- In the Freeplay menu, the fourth difficulty on Cornholy is Unnerfed, instead of the Holy difficulty. This is a reference to Vs. Dave And Bambi's Unnerfed difficulty, as the chart for it is the old chart of it.
- The confused Boyfriend sprite used in the Post Reminisce Cutscene is taken from Stickman VS Friday Night Funkin.
- The Endings Text was made with paint.net, but the characters were added in with Paint 3D.[3]
- Pressing F1, which usually turns on FNFBot, gives you the Cheater Ending, instead of pressing 7. This can happen on any song, but is only possible to get before the song countdown.[4]
- The Bambi Enters In sound effect is taken from the same scene that Mami's shooting sound comes from. (spoilers)[5][6]
- The Post Reminisce Cutscene Second Half was made with OBS Studio, and edited on Adobe Premiere Pro.[3]
- In the files, there is a sound named "mami_dies". The sound is just the second half of Splitathon in low quality, however the reason why it's in the files in unknown.
- The Gamejolt page for bambi takeover is titled "FNF Vs. Mami: The Dave And Bambi Edition (bambi takeover)".

- The update is a joke, as it was supposed to be last minute.
- This is further shown due to the showcase being intentionally bad, quality wise.[7]
- The image where the Holy Mami spritesheet usually would be, is now replaced with a picture of confused Mami.[8] [9]
- Humorously, the image's file size is very similar.
- Now pressing 7 also takes you to the Cheater Ending, no matter how much you wait before pressing it.
