Friday Night Funkin': Dine n' Dash is a mod created by Offbi, centering around Boyfriend rap battling the central character Tess to escape paying his bill at her diner. It features a total of six songs.

Tess[]
Tess is the the titular owner of Tess's Diner, and the main opponent of the mod.
Appearance[]
Tess is a female robot made in a light green metal. She wears a boxy, bright green dress with a yellow nametag. She has a large pair of round, green-tinted glasses. Her arms and legs have a dark green, tubular appearance, and are capable of extending long distances. She wears a pair of light green roller skates which aid in quick movement around her diner. She also wears a pair of bright green fingerless gloves. She has two bright green ponytails held by yellow hair ties.
In ERROR, her hair is completely loose and takes an unkempt appearance. Her arms are stretched out further by default, and sparks fly from her head. Her eyes are filled with static, and change to display various error symbols when she sings.
Personality[]
Tess is a loving robot, but you don't wanna mess with her. Overall, she is confident, but she can easily feel defeated when she is losing.

- Tess has served the Dearest family in her diner in the past.
- She can easily malfunction considering her past and lack of mechanics.
- Tess originally had one arm.
- When angry/malfunctioning, her hair always points forward, resembling a scorpion's tail.
- The trailer for Dine n' Dash was featured in Funkin' Forward.
- She was created by an unknown individual.
- Tess's body contains various tools, which she can unfold at will.
- She mainly uses these for cleaning and other small jobs in her diner.
- Her body also contains weapons. However, she has not used them to harm anyone.
- Tess is pansexual.
- Tess and her diner appear in the mod Cupid in Candlelight Fight where she encounters Boyfriend and Girlfriend as well as Cupid after the events of Dine n' Dash.
- Long after this first encounter, Cupid and Tess later become girlfriends.

- Out of universe, Jenny and Tess have been compared ever since the day Tess's design was invented.
- After the events of Tess's week, Tess was so annoyed by the Jenny comparison that she invited Jenny to her diner, with the goal of defeating her in a rap battle.

Prototype[]
Prototype is the opponent in the freeplay song "PROTOTYPE". She is a prototype version of Tess herself.
Appearance[]
Prototype is a female robot made in a white metal. She has round, black joints, and two black horn-like objects protruding from her head. Her chest contains a large, bright flashing green light. She has large black eyesockets which contain activatable, glowing green eyes, and a mouth with retractable, sharp teeth. She is missing an arm, with sparking, red wires sticking out of where it would be. On her intact arm, she has a hand with sharp black claws. She also has legs, but they are underneath the window during her song and are not visible as a result.
Personality[]
Prototype is extremely violent, and will kill anyone in her way. She is highly averse to being controlled by others.

- Prototype's song takes place many years before the events of Tess's week.
- Prototype is capable of speech, but rarely speaks aside from screaming and laughing.

John Doe is the player character in the freeplay song "PROTOTYPE".
Appearance[]
John Doe's eyes are covered at all times by a censor bar ingame. He wears a pair of rectangular glasses that can sometimes be seen glowing underneath the bar. He has brown hair, brown pants, and wears a white labcoat with a blue necktie. During PROTOTYPE, his colors are hidden by the lighting, giving him a purple appearance.

John Doe is shrouded in mystery, so not much is known about his personality. However, he appears to be afraid of Prototype.

Roger is the opponent in the freeplay song "Johndoechrome".
Appearance[]
Roger is a male robot made in a white metal. He has bright pink hair and bright pink joints. He wears blue earpieces and a blue ribbon. His chestplate and pelvis, and legs are maroon. He has a pink collar adorned with a silver bell. His neck has a grey, tubular appearance. He has large black eyesockets which contain activatable, glowing pink eyes. He has brown hands with white, clawed fingers.
In Johndoechrome, his appearance takes on some of Gold's traits, removing his legs and giving him sunken eyeholes.
Trivia[]
- Roger's song, Johndoechrome, is not canon to FNF: Dine n' Dash, but Roger himself is.
- Roger's endoskeleton has teeth that were part of a scrapped beta structure for his mouth. They are not normally visible, but they can be seen when his real teeth detach in Johndoechrome's jumpscare art.
