Mod Itself

Friday Night Jammin' X Vs Dave and Bambi is a fanmade crossover between Friday Night Jammin' and Vs Dave and Bambi, Jammer being the main playable character.

Friday Night Jammin' is a mod based of Kaiju Paradise by the way.

Storyline

Dave's Week / Week 1

Jammer wakes up on Dave's backyard all of a sudden, not knowing how he got there.

Dave appears and has a talk with Jammer.

After that they rap battle and it follows the same Dave week storyline from the original Vs Dave mod.

Bambi's Week / Week 2

It's basically the same storyline as the OG Vs Dave mod, although Dave joins in on the 3rd song.

Midnight / The Week 3 Teaser on Freeplay

All we know about this week is that Midnight will be a part of Week 3, it probably being Dave and Tristan's week, due to the Newbie and Second Round OSTs.

Week 4

???

Expunged's Week / Week 5

There's only the OSTs, but from we can theorize, it's probably that Jammer got caught cheating and Expunged tries to stop him, making Expunged reveal his true form.

Plausible Final Week

It's basically the final song of the story mode part of the mod, the only things known about it is that it's the final song and that it's I M P O R T U M A N I A by Cupgamer12 but with exbungo, however it's not Importumania itself.

HOWEVER...A song called Anosognosia might be the replacement, but its not been confirmed.

Dave Algebra Class, or slimply know as Dave, is the first opponent of the mod.

Appearance

Dave has the appearance of a young adult in a wheelchair with short brown hair, fair skin, wide eyebrows, and beady eyes. He wears a long-sleeved shirt and blue pants. Instead of having, he has grey polygons that serve as metallic legs, which is why he uses a black chair and grey wheels.

During Polygonized or Furiosity, his model becomes 3D and his colors darken greatly. His facial expression in this form can be one of fear or anguish in more recent versions or one of anger in older ones. Also, in the Alpha and Bambi Update versions, he was just covered in red and orange coloring or covered in red TV static.

During Splitathon, Dave has an expression of extreme confidence, with his hands placed on his waist with clenched fists. His chair now has an opening on the left side, which releases a microphone with a large cable.

During the corn festival, Dave wears a green hat similar to Bambi's hat. He is also wearing a green short-sleeved shirt with grey overalls. The gray overalls have a picture of a corn cob on the front.

Personality

Dave is quite competitive, lively, and slightly calm, but seems to have some habit of stuttering when surprised (as seen in the House cutscene). Living in the "middle of nowhere" doesn't seems to bother him too much, as that doesn't mean he's completely alone. On the other hand, his son Tristan sometimes easily takes away his good manners, causing Dave to lose some of his polite language and curse his son right away. Despite this, Dave is not a violent father, as he is only very strict with his son.

He appears to be irritated or annoyed when he loses to someone (Dave's sprite in Insanity is called "dave-annoyed" in the game files) but maintains his composure despite this. The bad part of this is that the chances of him starting to turn his surroundings into 3D, and with that destroying the world, increases, and as seen in Furiosity/Polygonized, Dave doesn't have good control over the 3D world. It is revealed in the terminal texts logs that Dave turns the world 3D due to his interdimensional dislocation, which is triggered when Dave is under a mass amount of stress.

Bambi Bambi Bambi, or simply know as Bambi, is the 2nd opponent of the mod.

Appearance

Bambi has the appearance of a small farmer with a green hat, red shirt, and blue overalls. During the final segment of Mealie, and the entirity of Indignancy, he becomes excessively pissed and holds the destroyed phone in his hand instead of a microphone. During any version of the Splitathon, in Supernovae, Glitch, Master, and in the Bambi Update, he doesn't have his overalls. When the player plays as him in Week 5, he wears a green Christmas hat.

Personality

Bambi is a complete hothead and corn fan, but he also seems to be pretty slow in terms of thinking quickly. He always starts off by accusing anyone who enters his farm as a "corn thief" and banishing them when given the chance (calling it blocking), even though it is hypocritical of him as he stole Zardy's farm and only had written his name over Zardy's. If someone ends up beating him, he steps back and says little by little that it's a draw, until he meets the thief again (although he gradually accepts the presence of Boyfriend and Girlfriend). Even when trying to explain, his explosive reactions and unwilling-to-listen behavior makes reasonable communication difficult.

His relationship with Dave is pretty messed up. Bambi acts purely on impulse, and Dave can only talk and make Bambi listen after Bambi has already done something stupid (like breaking the very cell phone Dave bought him). Bambi mostly interrupts Dave when he says something (hanging up on him, taking his turn for himself), and it's become so normal for Dave that he smiles after Bambi takes his turn at Splitathon for the second time.

In the joke songs, Bambi changes his behavior to something even more idiotic. His lines are meaningless, and he constantly proclaims himself the winner before the start of a song.

Character Icons

Tristan is one of the supporting characters in Vs. Dave and Bambi, appearing in some cutscenes and being playable.

Appearance

Tristan is a child with slightly yellow skin and a big open smile. He wears a light red t-shirt (holding the microphone in his right hand), blue pants and olive shoes. For some reason, his nose is triangular, his left eye is round and small, while his right is large, wide, and oval, and they change with each pose. His "Hair" is just the word hair written in black, but that word can change to "Ouch!" on the danger icon, or to "dead!" on the danger icon of betas. Speaking of those betas, in his V-Pose, Tristan holds up a brown "hooror" sign. When Tristan "dies", his skeleton and hair are covered in a light red color.

In his golden version, as the name implies, Tristan is completely made of shiny gold (with Senpai-like sparkles coming out of it), including his microphone and clothes. He looks directly at his opponent with a confident gaze, and when he misses his poses, he maintains more composure. When Golden Tristan is startled by thunder, his skin seems to start to crack, and the light red from the game over is changed to light purple.

Personality

Tristan despite being a playable character, has few BF traits (besides of course, in-game height). He appears to be a stereotype of a snarky, smart-ass child, lurking in the background and only appearing in two or three dialogues. It's hard to say what his hobbies are besides staying at home, considering the fact that he's Dave's adopted son, whose Dave lives in the middle of nowhere. That's why he's very obsessed with Bambi's cell phone, even making a joke about the number 911, that is, until Dave makes him cry and forces him to return the cell phone.

As for the "father and son" relationship, Tristan doesn't have much affection for his father, as he seems to be very strict at times, or very stupid believing that he has classes every day of the week. Despite Dave's strict rules, Dave cares for his son.

3.0 Sprites?

There has been an instance where ValenciaBall livestreamed on Discord the Monarchy Expunged cover with the 3.0 sprites, so there may be a chance we may see some sprites from Vs Dave and Bambi 3.0 on the mod.

Before the twitter account went down, there was an image about [REDACTED], probably hinting to him being added.

Hortas Edition OCs?

As seen on a community post made by ValenciaBall, he got the idea to add some Hortas Edition OCs, this isn't a confirmation that they will be added though.

However Hortas (the OC) and Conbi won't be added, because there are already a lot of songs about them both, and even if that wasn't the case, he wouldn't get permission (obviously).

Scrapped Content

Scrapped 4th Bambi song (Pissed) and Scrapped lore

During the mod's peak (Summer 2022), there was a song called Pissed, this song would have been added on V1, but ended up being scrapped, along with a lot of lore.

The only reason this is known is because of ValenciaBall livestreaming the song "Pissed" a lot on the TFE server before it got scrapped.

However Pissed ended up being added back as an extra song, along with a remaster from SylenLean.

Quantum Silly

Quantum Silly would have been a character on the song Recolored, but ended up being scrapped for two reasons:

• oct0._line and Lorenxx10 both being in love with her. ValenciaBall once warned them both about Quantum Silly's removal if they kept going like this, Lorenxx10 calmed down, but octo probably didn't, mostly because on the old remnants of the Discord Server, he reacted with a sad Spongebob emoji.
• A request from Mitty, which was actually reasonable, because of the above.

It's really unlikely she will ever come back.

Scrapped Anti-Cheating Songs

On V1, when you press 7 on Cheater Mayhem, it sends you to Finis Mundi, a Scopomania Expunged song, and for V2 it's getting replaced with Probabilities, a Theoretical Expunged song.
