Camellia / Masaya Oya (also known as Cametek) is a producer of electronic music, beginning his career with Vocaloid music. He is also popular in the rhythm game scene due to notably difficult charts given to his songs, two examples of his work include the Expert+ difficulty on his song GHOST in the popular VR rhythm game Beat Saber and 6 songs for the rhythm platformer game, Mad Rat Dead.
Appearance[]
Camellia appears as a man with spiky cream and reddish colored hair and teal eyes. He wears a pair of glasses, with the right part covering his eye due to its shine, a dark grey jacket, a black shirt, a fedora and a pair of headphones with light blue ear muffs. The lower part of his body isn't visible, being covered by his DJ set, and whenever he presses a button on it, his hair and eye will glow in accordance to the note's respective color. Camellia also doesn't have a nose.[1]
Personality[]
He shows mainly a calm, outgoing and friendly personality with a bit of humor, proficiently dealing with Boyfriend's nonsense. He also seems to have no ill intention towards Boyfriend, as he refers to BF as his "friend" in Hololive Funkin' dialogue. In Flip Mode, he appears to be slightly more competitive.
Trivia[]
- Even though the mod is based on the actual Camellia's music, the version of Camellia used in the mod is a separate character designed by SugarRatio, that is loosely based on his real appearance.
- Additionally, SugarRatio has stated that the FNF version of Camellia is half sea urchin and can breathe underwater.
- Camellia mentioning Miku at the beginning references to the fact that Camellia occasionally uses Hatsune Miku's Vocaloid software for his songs.
- Camellia's left miss pose is a reference to the thinking-like pose related to memes such as Sheesh.
- Camellia breathes through his hair.[2]
- Camellia's hair is also his feet despite having human feet.[3]
- He can break all bones of a person in the blink of an eye. [4]

- In Vs. RetroSpecter, a drawing of his face can be found in the background props.
- In Vs. Beepie, he has a chance to appear as one of foreground characters that walk across the screen. When he does appear he's walking alongside Mean BF.
- In V.S. Hood: Roundtable, He appears in the background in "Sigma".

Shishiro Botan (獅白ぼたん) replaces Pico in the Hololive Funkin' mod, and can be the opponent or the player's character in the mod's week Holofunk. An active member of hololive's fifth generation alongside Momosuzu Nene, Botan is very laid-back in her streams despite her cool appearance, aptly described in her profile as "the mind of a lazy house cat in the body of a fearsome white lion." She was the first character in the mod's history to use her own vocal samples rather than borrowing from the character she's meant to replace.
HoloFunk specific version of Botan is hired by Daddy Dearest to kill "a certain demon from an opposing clan" after the events of Week 2. In a similiar case to Pico and BF, Botan was given a location and only a name. When Botan finds ex-genmate Aloe and realizes she was the target, she decides to spare her and instead challenges her to a friendly rap battle.

Botan's appearance in this mod features her having long silver hair with bluish shading, and wearing a black tracksuit over a white shirt and white and black shoes. She also wears a cat mask, and in her right hand she holds an SSR-47, a lawyer-friendly adaptation of the AK-47 (a combined reference to Botan's fondness for FPS games, and a popular meme based on a quote by hololive's CEO, Tanigo "YAGOO" Motoaki, who initially described hololive as "an idol group like AKB48"; it then morphed into "like AK-47" by fans when more new members joined and become chaotic).

- A younger Botan (back in her hitman days as "Leone") once taught Pico how to handle firearms for amusement when she took up a side-gig as a babysitter. This knowledge later helped him survive the events of Pico's School years later, but would get him thrown out of Heaven and disgraced because of mistaken identity in a manner similar to his counterpart in Friday Night Funkin: Soft.
- Botan was a subject of a meme in the Arknights Community, where players jokingly call her the child of Operators SilverAsh & Siege.

Bob is an opponent found in the 2.5 update. He hails from his source mod, literally every fnf mod ever; created by wildythomas and phlox. He is an evil god that mocks the typical "FNF-phases" (calm → annoyed/mad → pissed/god/demon). However, in this mod; he seems to seek revenge in a rap battle... but hey that kinda looks like Cameill-
Appearance[]
Bob has the (normal) appearance of a poorly-drawn "white blob thing". He uses a stubby arm and a poorly drawn mic. In this mod, he seems to be dressing up as Cameilla (in a similar event to Vs. Bob and Bosip in the Bob Takeover update). He wears a wig that takes the appearance of Cameilla's hair, with the same fedora, headphones and coat Cameilla normally wears. However, Bob also has sunglasses (respetively used in YTPs, also holds the name as the "MLG Sunglasses") and instead has a cardboard Amazon box in the appearance of a poorly-crafted DJ set. It is noted that he also utilizes his fingers to press the cardboard buttons on his DJ set.
In Tomato Town, Bobmellia have summoned few meme overlays, with it being a FNF Sin Counter and the Markiplier E with Mark's face being superimposed by Camellia's. And during his songs, whenever a Vine boom is referenced, a sad SpongeBob face of Boyfriend and Camellia will suddenly appear on each Vine booms.
Bobmellia also has the ability to turn the entire screen into a clip of a YouTube meme video: First being CARAMBA, second being Watch Yo Jet, and few clips of Soma's highlights.
In Toast, Bobmellia have possessed the exterior background of the setting with some referenced memes, implying a remix. First being Living Tombstone's original Five Nights At Freddy's song, with its first verse appearing in the beginning and its chorus at 3:29, the second being a insult-based rant of Low Tier God during the organ solo, and the third being a series of Windows errors.

Boyfriend is the protagonist of the base game: Friday Night Funkin', and the player's character, or the opponent in the mod's songs.
Appearance[]
Boyfriend remains relatively unchanged from his original appearance. In Ghost VIP, his outfit changes. He no longer wears his red cap, revealing his cyan hair, in a different hair style. He now has black sunglasses on his eyes and a rose next to his left arm, and wears a red shirt underneath a white suit, in which the sleeves are rolled up, and black shoes.
Boyfriend also has the same ability as Bobmellia, as he can also possess the exterior background of the setting and turn the entire screen into a clip of a YouTube meme.
At 3:09 of Tomato Town, Boyfriend takes the role of PaRappa the Rapper in Hair Scare, where his face is superimposed over PaRappa's head.
At 1:57-2:15 of Toast, Boyfriend transforms into 5 memes one-by-one (with the exception of Eggman's "Pingas!"):
- First one is an idle of Damn Daniel (Luffy) doing a bored facial expression. He has tan skin, black hair and eyes, a couple of lines on his skin; wears a straw hat with a red stripe and a red vest.
- Second one is a pose of Damn Daniel (Enel), doing a laughter-like jaw-drop. He has light skin, blonde hair, black eyebrows, a mucus on his right nostril; wears a white bandana.
- Third one is a grey pufferfish. Poses either contains it being held or fed a carrot by a butcher.

Girlfriend is the deuteragonist of Friday Night Funkin', being the protagonist's girlfriend. She is usually seen on her boomboxes, accompanying and cheering on Boyfriend.
Appearance[]
Girlfriend retains her appearance from the base game. In Ghost VIP, like her lover, her outfit changes. She now has horns and a tail, swinging from left to right in her idle. She wears a dark gray short trench, brick red gloves and high-knee socks, and black boots.

- At the start of the song, the sound effects "Fart with reverb" and "Taco Bell Bong" are used as samples. Later in 0:11, Steve's Oof Sound Effect is used as a sample, finishing off with the "I Like Ya Cut, G" meme audio in 0:12.
- In 0:34, the "Ayo the pizza here" audio is played, later having "Fart with reverb" being played again when Bob hits any note. On the long note in 0:36, the "Vine Boom" sound effect is played while a drawing of Boyfriend replicating the Spunch Bob meme is displayed and disappearing later.
