Sonic.Exe mod. The mod was canceled 2 times, once nearly, and another resulting in its end. It was then revived under the new ownership of Sonic-R Maul.

Zephaniah, known as Mighty.ZIP, is the Sonic.EXE version of this mod. Despite this, he is based on Mighty the Armadillo and not Sonic himself. Zip resides in a pirated Sonic game that contained a virus that D-Side Boyfriend downloaded.
Appearance[]
Zephaniah resembles an anthropomorphic armadillo with purple thick armor. He has light peach fur that can only be seen on his stomach, ears, and lower half of his head. He wears purple spiked bracelets, black fingerless gloves and purple sneakers. After the first 30 seconds of Too Slow, he eats his mic and drops the façade, with glowing yellow eyes and an unhinged smile. (with a black liquid gushing from his eyes).
In the "Gun" difficulty, he maintains his regular assets but with an added stock human hand holding a gun.
In Triple Trouble, he's now enormously tall with his eyes glowing even brighter, & blue crystals begin to fill up his body.
In Trick or Flee, he wears a Halloween costume consisting of a black suit with pointy shoes and black fingerless gloves. On his left hand is the torn head of Ray.

Soul Ray[]
Soul Ray was an upcoming opponent in Triple Trouble. Like the base D-Sides mod, his head can be seen impaled in the background of Too Slow.

Soul Ray is a dead version of Ray where he has hollowed eye sockets and a dangling eyeball and a torn off left arm and end of tail, with the tailbone exposed.
Physically, his fur is purple and wears a single lens goggles with cracked red glass. He also has a dark torn cape and shoes, and a gray coat with blood smear and ripped apart like his arm. He holds a red mic on his right hand.

Soul Fang[]
Soul Nack, also called Fang, was an upcoming opponent in Triple Trouble. Like the base D-Sides mod, his body can be seen laying on the ground in the background of Too Slow.

Soul Nack/Fang is a dead version of Nack where he has hollowed eyesockets and a torn/pierced side of his head, with blood dripping as well as from his eyesockets. He is missing an arm and has a pistol on his left arm which has an exposed wound. His tail is also torn off.
Physically, he has dark gold fur and wearing a gray suit with a fedora (which is seen beside him in Too Slow) as well as gray shoes.

Soul Maria Robotnik[]
Soul Maria was an upcoming opponent in Triple Trouble. Like the base D-Sides mod, her body can be seen laying on the ground in the background of Too Slow.
Appearance[]
Soul Maria is a dead version of Maria Robotnik having the same traits as her base counterpart/his grandfather, such as her exposed but fresh brain peeking from her eyesockets and mangled mouth. She has exposed bones on her arms near the hands, two holes on her body, with one impaled by a wench, and an open wound on her leg.
Physically, she has auburn hair, fair skin, and having a slightly altered outfit similar visually to her grandfather's and her cousin. She also wore red goggles and has a bandage over one side of her head.

Boyfriend is the D-Sides variant of his eponymous original counterpart, and the main character of Friday Night Funkin' D-Sides. Almost always by the side of his beloved and with a peculiar appetite, this purple-haired rapper remains willing to battle any opponent, as long as it's through music.
Differences[]
Boyfriend now has wilder hair and sharper teeth. He also wears purple pants, navy blue sneakers, a navy blue cap with a purple brim, and earrings. His white t-shirt is now sleeveless and bears a warning sign icon.
In Too Fest, he is drawn badly on MSPaint with some details changed such as his warning sign logo with a face as well as on his microphone. He also has one large black earring. This appearance is different from D-Side Boyfriend and is nicknamed Billy.
In Milk, he has some jelly on his mouth and the spoon he holds. His style is also similar to the song, with long line eyes.
He had an upcoming look possibly used for Encore in which he turns into a fox-like Mobian with purple fur with a large fox tail with two small black rings nicked on the end. He also wore black fingerless gloves.

Girlfriend has slightly faded peachy-orange hair, tied in pigtails with magenta ties, and magenta-painted fingernails. Physically, she possesses a calmer expression and her cheeks (also her hands in her gallery art) have orange freckles, while throughout the songs she taps her right index finger on her leg.

Tenma is the Majin Sonic Equivalent for the D-Sides universe. Similarly to most of the mod, the design piggybacks off of Mighty the Armadillo instead of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Tenma is clown-themed in his D-Side form. He appears as a pink and purple shaded armadillo with large empty eyes, a wide smile, and clown makeup. He has several differences from his canon counterpart such as wearing rounded shoes, smaller ears, different eyes, and a smaller more obscured face as noted by his mouth.

Zeus[]
Zeus, formerly known as God Z, is the Lord X equivalent for the D-Sides universe. Similarly to most of the mod, the design piggybacks off of Mighty the Armadillo instead of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Appearance[]
Zeus' base design is based on Mighty. Like Lord X he is visibly decaying. Zeus takes on a dull purple and green color scheme.
From the bottom up, he has ripped shoes exposing his two green toes. On his torso he has an Z carved in the middle, as his name is Zeus, mirroring the X carved on Lord X's torso. He wears black gloves and has long unkept fingernails. On his left hand he welds a broken microphone.
Moving up he has unkept green fur, ears, and purple shell. His pupils are yellow, and instead of his skeleton hand coming out of his mouth like Lord X, it instead comes out his eye sockets.

Mitee.Jpeg-Large or simply Mitee is the D-Side Equivalent of Sunky.MPEG (also in turn making it a D-Side version of Sunky himself) for the D-Sides universe. Instead of him liking Milk and Cereal he likes Jelly (...and Jelly). The design builds off of the Mitee that first appeared in a prototype build of Sunky the Game 2.
Similarly to most of the mod, the design piggybacks off of Mighty the Armadillo instead of Sonic the Hedgehog.

His appearance is just Mighty but crudely made like Sunky, and with a purple color scheme to fit the D-Side style. Over his eyes he has black pointy glasses. He has a jelly stain on his mouth and he welds a jar of Jelly.
His Milk V2 assets mimics Stan Smith from American Dad! and instead of being an opponent, he's playable.
In Trick or Flee, he wears a Halloween costume being a suit resembling a jar of jelly with the brand scribbled in red and "Blood", written on the side. He also holds a paper bag with the words "Jelly Here" on it in red marker.

- A user by the name of HollowGuy commented "Meaty Cock Amadildo" on one of Joseph's community posts, and he just sort of accepted that as his full name, whether this was a joke or not, this mention will be kept here for brevity.

Ray Doll is an opponent in D-Sides remixes of both Sunshine and Soulless. He acts as the D-Sides equivalent of Tails Doll.
Appearance[]
Ray Doll is a doll version of Ray similar in body style to Tails Doll except having purple fur, a purple gem, green goggles, scarf, and green shoes.
In the dark, he is capable of making his gem glow ambiently.
In Soulless, he is similar to Tails Doll but has thicker claws, a cracked gem, and a frowning expression. He also has a sewn wound on his torso and a sewn line on his scarf.

Hyper Claws[]

Hyper Claws is the D-Sides equivalent to Hyper Knuckles from the Archie comics and an opponent in D-Sides mix of Chaos, planned as the D-Sides equivalent of Fleetway Super Sonic.

Hyper Claws differs from the regular Hyper Knuckles, gaining lavender fur and magenta colored eyes. His gloves appear grayed and he wears shoes with extra sharp claws on the ends, colored purple and yellow. His quills also have white bands on them and are more flowy.

BurningGold was an upcoming opponent created by YesterFuku and would have been fought in the D-Sides remix of Personnel, but was scrapped due to controversy surrounding JesterFrog. He acts as the D-Sides equivalent of Coldsteel.

BurningGold is a yellow armadillo with a yellow back and gray and red eyes, a nicked ear, two black ear rings, and a gold chain connected to one of his segments. He also wears a pair of jeans with holes on the knees, gray fingerless gloves, red and white shoes, and a brown belt with a buckle.

Pinwheel of Death[]
Pinwheel of Death was an upcoming opponent. They act as the D-Sides equivalent of Fatal Error.
Appearance[]
Pinwheel is a tall armadillo with a mostly white color scheme such as his segments, gloves, and muzzle. He has small yellow glint eyes and a small color gradient disc on his forehead accompanied by three color dots on the side (which also appear on his gloves). He wears off-gray shoes and has a very long nose.
As Compressed Exception, his entire body is blue and has longer fingers. His eyes are also white and has "Windows" on his screen-like body. His torso also displays a message saying "Press any key to continue", akin to a BSOD.

Hare and Labyrinth[]
Hare was an upcoming opponent created by Hollo. He acts as the D-Sides equivalent of Hog & Scorched, with Scorched being Labyrinth.

Hare is a yellow rabbit with eyes similar that of Hog's and wearing a small purple bowtie and black boots.
As Labyrinth, he becomes much more monstrous and dark as his fur and body appear as if they're covered in ash or burnt. He now gains a larger hair of fur resembling quills, with his ears becoming much more thin, an unhinged jaw with sharp teeth, empty black eyes, and pointy boots and gloves.

Clover[]
Clover was an upcoming opponent created by Hollo and Mad Man Halloween, now currently owned by Josephix and LUCIFERS_RATS. He is the official D-Side Curse as confirmed by Curse's owner.
Appearance[]
Clover is an armadillo similar to Mighty except being taller and wearing a scarf over his neck and having a missing eye as a result of it withering away (which he covers under a bandage). He is also always seen with Lucky, a nearly destroyed Chao missing an arm and a spear with a star on it.

- Rather than a tar-like liquid, Clover has a withering, with his right side of his face withering away.

Beelzevos[]
Beelzevos is the D-Sides version of Satanos who was planned to appear in the mod, but was scrapped along an outdated and unfinished remix of his song Trickery, known among the developers as "Perdition". A concept of his appearance and icons can be found in the files.
Appearance[]
Contrary to the official design for Beelzevos, this mod's iteration of Beelzevos is a hedgehog with purple fur and large quills, lined to be shaped like a fin. He has two red horns in between an inverted cross and large eyes with large pupils. He has a large yellow cuff and torn gloves as well as purple and white shoes.

Aimless[]
Aimless is a D-Side counterpart of Devoid created by Josephix, and was going to appear in the mod but was scrapped and ultimately never made it out an unfinished D-Sides remix of Hollow. However, Aimless would soon reappear in an official side mod to this mod which made his song, now finsished, to be playable.
He is based on Espio the Chameleon instead of Claws the Echidna (D-Side Knuckles) or Sonic the Hedgehog.
Appearance[]
Aimless resembles how the D-Side version of Espio should look like: a magenta chemeleon with blue scale plates on his back, a bony tail, black fingerless gloves, a tattered teal scarf and dark blue boots with black hands and fronts. However, as his face is missing, he wears a bee mask to avoid the harmful effects of his missing face.

Wechileon[]
Wechileon is a D-Side counterpart of Wechidna, an EXE created by RightBurstUltra, and was going to appear in the mod but was scrapped. A concept of his appearance and icons can be found in the files.
He disguises as Espio the Chameleon instead of Knuckles the Echidna.
Appearance[]
Wechileon in disguise nearly resembles Espio except for a notable scar around his eye. In its true form however, he becomes spindly and tall, with a large hole for a face, zigzagging limbs, sharp claws, and various open wounds around the limbs and body.

ZIP[]
ZIP was an upcoming character to the mod but was scrapped due to the mod's cancellation, as well as his artist, TheChewster, being fired from the team for discriminatory behavior and racism. He ultimately never made it outside of a few concepts and animations, as well as a scrapped song.
Appearance[]
originally, ZIP resembled Mighty except he's taller and lankier with blank eyes with small pupils. His eyes noticeably constantly shake. He has a concept for a Black Sun form where like EXE, has fused shoes and gloves incorporating them into their body. His mouth is much longer and lined with small sharp teeth, and on his chest is a thick X wound.
In his latest and final incarnation based on the official sketch for him, ZIP resembles Claws, except his fur is slightly paler and the crescent on his chest is more green. His Black Sun form would have him take on a more monstrous appearance, with his eye sockets merging into one eye. His limbs would bulk up, and he would have become drenched in blood.

D-Side X-Terion[]
D-Side X-Terion was an upcoming character to the mod but never made it outside of two designs for him, one which bases him off Fang and the other being Mighty.
Appearance[]
X-Terion has two iterations of design, one on Fang and the other being Mighty. As Fang, he retains most of his features outside of now having purple gloves and splotches on his shoes and body, as well as having a void for a face with his eyes and his snout (unlike X-Terion which had only a void with nothing protruding from it).
The Mighty iteration has him much brighter red in color, wearing blue gloves and gray shoes with orange accents.
D-Side Dumbfuck[]
D-Side Dumbfuck was an upcoming collab character who was supposed to par with Elli's D-Side Ourple Guy mod, but was scrapped. He is the D-Side version of Dumbfuck.
Appearance[]
D-Side Dumbfuck resembles Mighty except styled akin to most ourple creatures, with him being a short lineless purple armadillo with a derpy smile and off-center yellow pupils.

Sonichu[]
Sonichu is an popular Sonic the Hedgehog OC (if not for the simple fact its so humorous) created by Christine Weston Chandler. He's an combination between Sonic and Pikachu; a Pokémon character.
He was originally gonna be the D-Sides Sanic in this mod, before getting scrapped and replaced with Meaty, a character based on Mighty instead. Sonichu never made it out of simple concept art.

D-Side Chaotix[]

D-Side Chaotix was a character planned very early to be in the V3 update of the mod. He was removed however due to issues with the creator.
He is a character based on Chaotix, an EXE centered around Knuckles, and more specifically a Knuckles' Chaotix glitch (Read More). Instead of the base design being Knuckles the Echidna, its instead Nack/Fang the Sniper.

Chaotix in its base form resembles Fang with a few exceptions such as his single eye/pupil as well as his tie-like pattern on his torso.
In his beast form, he becomes pale white with black tips covering his hands and quills. His singular eye is red as well as his teeth, his shoes merge with his body, and his tail becomes much longer.

Lucky was an upcoming opponent created by Hollo and Mad Man Halloween, now currently owned by Josephix and LUCIFERS_RATS, as well as the D-Side version of Metal Sonic in Curse's Continuity.
Lucky was originally going to be the second opponent in Malediction, but was left out in the final version, with his role instead being taken by Girlfriend.

Lucky is a nearly destroyed Omochao with gold coloring, glowing yellow eyes, and a propeller. Lucky is notably missing an arm.

Mr.S3G4S0N1C[]
Not to be confused with MR.SR.G0N1C.
Mr.S3G4S0N1C is a character created by Error54. The character is the Mighty equivalent of NeedleM0use, a character which is based on Sonic the Hedgehog. Instead of the character's world being set in the triple base Sonic titles, its instead set around Sega Sonic the Hedgehog, an arcade Sonic game which Mighty first debuted in. Later down the line Mr.S3G4S0N1C would be the D-Side NeedleM0use for this mod, but NeedleM0use in general got scrapped and went with her.
There was an earlier design which was a standard D-Side design made specifically for the mod.

Mr.S3G4S0N1C is an armadillo which resembles Mighty overall but with elements from NeedleM0use, such as having stark white fur and oval eyes, as well as having a lineless design. He has two different concepts, one where he has a long black nose, cyan pupils, and longer limbs. Another had his purple colors being might brighter and having a long snout with yellow pupils.

- There was planned a Halloween D-Sides update, "Trick or Flee" that'll include a Halloween version of Slaybells[3], a song that was normally for Christmas in the original mod.
- This was released in the unfinished V2 build.
- There are various custom names that the application window bar changes to according to the song you're playing (Excluding Milk V2)

- Zeus' Mic is broken because he took a bite out of it on the way there.
- Maria's part of Triple Trouble D-Sides has a possible motif of Ugh from the base game.
- Icons not yet in the mod (such as placeholder Fatality icons and the future Burningold character by YesterFuku) are in the gamefiles.
- They are there because when making the build, Josephix missed them and didn't take them out.
- The Soundtest button is visibly broken. This is because the coder was too lazy to fix it.

The_code.mp4 is a cutscene that plays after you beat Too Slow through Story Mode. Similarly to how Vs. Sonic.EXE did it. There is an unused version that displays sound test codes for songs at the start (However due to its big file size the actual video cannot be uploaded).
