Alas, the days of Funkin' are over, no one in the world listens to rap songs anymore and moved on to listen to Jazz and folk music, and everything has gone silent and to a halt. You've been laying in the graves across the front yard for a long time, wondering when you'll burst out from the grave to wonder what a brain tastes like...Until...
YOU BURST OUT FROM THE GRAVE!
Dr. Zomboss has summoned you out from the grave, you are his new zombie recruit and it is in your hands to put an end to Crazy Dave and his plants, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
Your objective is to vanquish all the plant life on earth and stop the production of BLOOM N' DOOM SEED CO. Then, when there are no plants left on the planet and none to harvest, Crazy Dave and his brains are FINALLY ours! NOTHING WILL EVER STOP US!

The Peashooter is a recurring character in the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise, often serving as the first and main line of defense in the games. As his name suggest, he shoots peas at the attacking zombies.
Appearance[]
The Peashooter based on the pea plant, also known as the Pisum sativum. He is a small, green plant with a thin stem, 4 leaves on the ground acting as his legs, and he has a large head with beady eyes and a large, trumpet-like mouth used to fire peas.
During Bad Bash, Peashooter wears a soldier helmet and a rotating bullet chamber appears in his mouth, turning him into a Gatling Pea. He no longer sings, instead only making loud bangs.
During Juiceless, Peashooter wears the Lone Ranger's Hat and Mask, a costume he first wore in Plants vs Zombies 2 during the Lawn Of Doom events of 2014 and 2015.
Personality[]
The Peashooter doesn't have much of a personality across the games, his only defined trait being his high determination and perseverance in fighting zombies. This may an intentional decision to reflect his role as the most basic unit in the games. This specific peashooter, however seems to get angered at the Zombies winning, especially after getting a rock thrown at him.

- Peashooter transforming into a Gatling Pea is a homage to Plants Vs. Zombies 2 and Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, where Peashooter can transform into a Gatling Pea and fire a volley of peas. The sound accompanied when Peashooter transforms comes straight from Garden Warfare,
- However, in the original Plants vs. Zombies it is actually Repeater who can transform into Gatling Pea.
- Peashooter in the title screen is depicted with eyebrows, a trait that he doesn't have in the official Plants vs Zombies games. He also has eyebrows when becoming a Gatling Pea unlike in Plants vs Zombies 2.
- Peashooter's design in the mod seems to mainly be based off of his appearance in Plants vs Zombies 2, as evidenced by his more circular appearance, his rounded and smaller leaves, and his leaf being slightly ripped.

Sunflower appears to be a mixture of her designs from Plants Vs. Zombies: Heroes and Plants Vs. Zombies 2, appearing as a normal sunflower with two beady eyes, two leaves that act as her feet and a large grin.

- Sunflower is a well-known singer in-universe, being a superstar and the one that sings the iconic Zombies on Your Lawn song.
- Sunflower being placed behind Peashooter in the mod is a well-known tactic to use in the tower defense PvZ games, and the player is encouraged by the game to do so.
- Sunflower cannot dance, though she believes she can.

The Repeater is a recurring character in Plants Vs. Zombies. He is an evolved variation of the Peashooter that fires 2 peas at once as opposed to the Peashooter's one. He appears in Bad Bash to fight against the incoming horde of zombies, ultimately falling in battle.

The Repeater looks identical in appearance to the Peashooter, with the exception of extra leaves on the back of his head and eyebrows conveying an angry expression.

- The Gatling Pea form the Peashooter takes in Bad Bash is actually taken from the Repeater, who was the first to be transformed into a Gatling Pea in the original Plants Vs. Zombies.
- But in Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, any pea plants can evolve into Gatling Pea, even Gatling Pea itself. Evolved from a pea plant, Gatling Pea will do a bonus attack. It's a Colossal-Legendary plant card,and it has 5 strength points and 4 health points. Besides, it has the Double Strike trait, and its Pea Evolution ability makes it do a bonus attack.
- In the Garden Warfare trilogy (yes, BFN technically counts because itās gameplay bases itself off of the Garden Warfare games) the Gatling is the center ability for the Peashooter, which allows him to root himself and shoot a lot of small peas at zombie players to vanquish them.
- But in Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, any pea plants can evolve into Gatling Pea, even Gatling Pea itself. Evolved from a pea plant, Gatling Pea will do a bonus attack. Chomper appears to be a giant, purple circular orb with a small purple stem, several small spikes that act as a type of mohawk, four leaves that act as his feet and four on the back of his head. He also has purple spots dotted over his head and a large, gaping mouth with a purple-striped tongue and a row of grayish teeth.

- Chomper enters the lawn by burrowing into it. This is one of his abilities in the Garden Warfare series.
- Chomper is frequently portrayed to have a dog-like behavior, and is referred to as "the plant equivalent of a family dog".
- Chomper has his own fanmade Plants Vs. RAppers mod.

Puff Shroom[]

The Puff Shroom is a recurring character in the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise. He often serves as the main defense throughout most of the night and fog levels in the games. Unlike Peashooter, he is only able to hit zombies from a closer range. He was teased to be an upcoming character for the "first night level song".

Puff Shroom is a tiny purple mushroom with black eyes and white pupils. Like Peashooter it also has a circular mouth to shoot tiny spores at the zombies that approach it. He also has a greenish stem for connecting him to the ground.

Sun Shroom, at first appears as a tiny yellow mushroom with a white stem. Like Puff Shroom, Sun Shroom also has black eyes and white pupils. When it grows taller, it retains most of its features and just becomes larger.

- Sun Shroom would have most likely been a background character like Sunflower, since it also produces sun and there seemed to be other shrooms like Puff Shroom rap battling Boyfriend.

Ice Shroom is a character that appears in the Plants VS Zombies franchise. Its usefulness will be to freeze all the zombies that are in the garden, paralyzing them for a short period of time.

Possibly Ice Shroom is based on the aniseed toadstool (Clitocybe odora). It is a thick-stemmed plant with a serious and cold look, on its head it will have ice picks of different sizes.

Girlfriend has met the same fate as Boyfriend of becoming an undead zombie, also likely now under orders of Dr. Zomboss. Although, she seems more intelligent and some of her personality still remains with her actually emoting and reacting to events in song. However, that doesn't change the fact that, like any other zombie, she's trying to eat the brains of the protagonist.
Appearance[]
Girlfriend's zombified state has her clothes tattered and darkened. Her mouth is open at all times, with bulging eyes, green skin and messy hair. Her horns are revealed and vines grow up her body. Her speaker has been overgrown with moss, with wires poking out, and looking more stone, likely to look like a grave.
Trivia[]
- Oddly her current icon doesn't seem to have horns, inside the game she has her horns showing, this was due to Jason adding the addition of horns later on to Zombie Gf's design to reference the Week 7 FNF GameOver Death animation, and not her being used, so the icon is left as it is.
- In game there are zombies in the background seemingly to bob their heads with Girlfriend, instead of attacking the plants. This is due from the fog following around the zombies and onto the lawn, weakening the plants during Bad Bash, and so they just bop with Girlfriend.

Disco Zombie[]

The Disco Zombie is a recurring character in the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise. Rather than being a plant, he happens to be a zombie who is able to summon back up dancers to help him attack the plants. He was teased to be an upcoming character through two song teasers, (both of which can be found through Jason's twitter account.)

Disco Zombie appears as a zombie with some curly brown hair and glasses on his face. For his choice of clothing, he has a light blue jacket as well as white pants. He also wears glass shoes that appear to be filled with water and one goldfish.

Gameplay Mechanics[]
- (CRAZY EXCLUSIVE) Brain Notes: During Bloom N' Brainz & Bad Bash, Brain Notes will appear, hitting these will slightly increase the player's health.
- (CRAZY EXCLUSIVE) Pea Notes: During Bloom N' Brainz & Bad Bash, the player and the opponent will hit Pea Notes, hitting the Pea Notes will damage you and obstruct the screen with a large Pea Splat which will be gone after a few seconds.
- Pea Splats: When the Peashooter randomly shoots (Or upon hitting a Pea Note), This creates a Green splatter over the screen as a result of being hit by a Pea, obstructing the screen for a short period of time.
- Pea Splats (Small): When the Peashooter changes into a Pea Gatling, small Pea Splats will randomly hit on the screen as the opponent hits notes, also obstructing the screen for a few seconds.
- Crazy mode: A new difficulty that is harder than Hard Difficulty.
- Health drain: During Bad Bash, whenever Peashooter or Gatling Pea sings, Your HP will drain.
- (UNUSED!) Grave notes: TBA (They are unused but are probably going to be used in the next update, so their mechanics are unknown.)

Trivia (General)[]
- Many things in the mod are references to the Garden Warfare or Heroes, such as: Peashooterās vocals, the first half of Bad Bash, Peashooterās Gatling transformation, GF throwing a rock at Gatling Pea and Chomperās voice. Additionally, Peashooter transforming into Gatling Pea may refer to the trigger skill after Peashooter uses Plant Food in Plants vs. Zombies 2, or Gatling Pea evolved from other Pea Plants in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes.
- Bloom N' Brainz shares a few leitmotifs with the main theme of Plants vs. Zombies. This can be best heard during its beginning.
- Boyfriend's death animation is similar to the main game's zombie's death animation after losing their heads, only works for Zombie, Flag Zombie, Conehead, and Buckethead (they have a 50% chance of dying with their hand reaching out this is 100% for the flag zombie only exception is, they drop their flags instead of holding onto them.)
- In the teaser showing a Gameplay of Bad Bash, it has looking-grave Notes. This was unused.
