Carol Of The Crown is a mod that Jofini and Jacobe put together in one day as a Christmas Special. In this mod, Boyfriend and Starecrown sing a Christmas carol together to show their festive spirit.

Looks like Starecrown is in the festive spirit today, as he has decided to sing a christmas carol with his absolute number 1 idol to celebrate the holidays.

Appearance

Compared to how he looks on a day to day basis, Starecrown is now wearing a red robe instead of a yellow one and and a Santa hat on top of his crown. Additionally, to contrast his red attire, Starecrown now has green skin.

His singing poses are as terrifying as usual.

Trivia

Starecrown can do a headstand, even with his weirdly shaped crown.
- The crown he wears was created with eyes.
  - It is unknown how Starecrown welded it together and dyed it yellow, especially since he doesn’t have hands!
Starecrown loves popping his eyes out, as seen in Starecrown’s up pose.
- This is likely a party trick he somehow developed with his wacky anatomy. It always surprises and horrifies those who see it!
If Starecrown blinks in his default form, he will explode. (Explained in one of the creator's Questions & Answers videos.)
- Yes, his eyes are hideously dry after not blinking for 3 years. However, his stomach is a moist and dark place for his eyes to rest in.
- In his true angel form after Body Inversion, however, he can blink without any negative result.
Starecrown may be a guardian angel due to how he very, very aggressively watches over those he interacts with.
Starecrown has immunity to illnesses, diseases, and any other types of sicknesses.
When drinking anything, he seemingly prefers Liquid Gatetail™ rather than other drinks. (Gatetail is a game that the creator made. Go check it out!)
- That may because of the taste and popularity of Liquid Gatetail™. As stated by Jofini, Liquid Gatetail is a very popular alchoholic drink among dimensional anomalies.
  - Other anomalies like ClownCrown^[8] and Fred also like drinking Liquid Gatetail™.
    - Even Jofini himself likes drinking Liquid Gatetail™. (see his left pose)
When visiting anywhere related to sports, Starecrown would choose golfing over anything else if possible. It is his favorite sport, overlapping any other.
Starecrown may represent a biblical angel due to his crown having many eyes, and his color palette being similar to a biblical angel’s.
If anything dangerous or threatening happens to his idols, he will protect them with all he has!
- Being nice to Starecrown is the best thing you can do to be considered his idol. Visiting him is also another great method of becoming one of his many idols.
Surprisingly, Starecrown has a mortal fear of water. This may be related to him never blinking, ever.
If he needs to, which he probably does to not scare everyone, Starecrown can disguise himself as a human (see gallery) to visit the library. It’s likely he uses the same ability to go golfing as well as going anywhere in a public space.
Every Tuesday, Starecrown donates to charity. How generous!
- To earn money, Starecrown works at Tesco and Denny's.
Unexpectedly, Starecrown is very skilled at golfing. He is a recurring champion of 12 golfing tournaments.
Starecrown is a surprisingly good cook.
Starecrown can squeeze through any crevice. This could be related to him storing anything in his own teeth dimension. But, instead of teeth, he could store body parts temporarily in his dimension.
Starecrown can communicate with a squid at any time.
Only recently did Fred the Frog learn about Starecrown as well as his "mental weakness").
- Starecrown was revealed to have been manipulated by Banana Demon, who was hired by Fred the Frog, into "inverting" Boyfriend as revenge for humiliating Fred the Frog in a rap battle. Afterward, Starecrown, Banana Demon, and Fred became "allies with each other. However, Banana Demon, as a cold bounty hunter, does not consider either of them, his friends, and only Starecrown is remotely interested in such a relationship, while Fred still appears to be bitter at him.
Starecrown likes all animals, but due to his appearance, he ends up scaring them all.
Starecrown can invert bodies if he wishes to but almost never needs/wants to.
After Body Inversion, his mind became pure with his life mission being complete. He has since lived a peaceful life and helps people behind the shadows... only up until his past betrayals possibly catch up to him.
Despite being an angel, he has no problems with any demon, including Girlfriend.

Starecrown is a mega fan of classical music.
The reason why his transformation in phase 3 is so drastically different is because he is celebrating his 3rd birthday!
Starecrown's rarely seen in his own dimension. However, he has full control over it, seemingly being able to put people in and out of it.
Somehow, Starecrown has 28751834567481356713406e1486.5 teeth^[9]. That is more teeth then the amount of atoms in the observable universe. (10^80)
- That’d be a bad thing for the observable universe, however Starecrown has it under control. In his mouth is a very large dimension filled with teeth. The storage problem is still manageable.
With that many teeth, he can manifest some of them on his body to make his appearance look more threatening. (See phase 3.)
Starecrown is very lonely because nobody visits him. Everyone is either unknown of Starecrown’s presence or are very scared of him when he talks. The only company if you even consider it as that is him running from those who chase him.
- Due to Starecrown’s isolation, he may have developed little social skills. In one of the creators Q&A’s, one of the answers stated that Starecrown knows almost Girlfriend’s parents, MM and DD. However, Starecrown is too scared to visit them, aligning with his poor social skills. It is also likely that Starecrown is an introvert.
  - However, don’t be too worried about his feelings. He is very happy and excited most of the time!
Starecrown loves to play Among Us. However, Gatetail is another favorite of his.
Starecrown may or may not be currently pursued by someone.
Starecrown's tongue is razor sharp.
Starecrown has seen every FNF mod character and their songs and is rather fond of them; however, not many FNF mod characters know about Starecrown’s existence despite him knowing everyone.
As for the height of Starecrown, it varies between 6 to 10 ft tall. That height changes depending on whatever he is feeling. Basically his mood. In phase 3, he turns noticeably bigger as his mood has changed to something that makes him taller.
Despite Starecrown looking like his favorite hobby is vivisecting everything, it is more tame than that. His real favorite hobby is watching his idols try. Boyfriend’s rap battles through the weeks is almost a TV show for Starecrown to observe. He is not missing a moment of it.
Starecrown wanted to teach Boyfriend a lesson: When all seems impossible, you can still do your own thing.
If he really needs to, Starecrown can travel through time. This could be used to save his idols from certain death.
Starecrown is male with no male features.
If you count carefully without having Starecrown bite you through his dimension, he has 110 teeth in his left pose. This is able to be seen in phase 1 and 2 as his sprites are mostly the same in both phases.
The creator, Jofini, has confirmed that Starecrown’s blood type is S+. Despite this, Starecrown does not have blood.
Starecrown was influenced by Fred to do his dirty work.
Starecrown was created 2 years ago (now 3), according to the creator in the QNA. (Questions AND Answers.)
- Related to his age, the reason why his third phase is so different is because he’s celebrating his third birthday! Happy birthday, Edgecrown!
According to the creators second QNA, Starecrown is an “Angel with a very defined purpose in life.”
In Body Inversion, Starecrown's name is Edgecrown confirmed by Jofini in a YouTube post.^[10]
Starecrown came from a hole in the ground. Coincidentally, the creator has described Starecrown as a “10 foot tall Thanos carrot pole,” and well, carrots come from the ground. This however does not have any importance to the character itself, so don’t connect too many dots!
In the QNA it's stated that Bob could have known Starecrown, but the creator says that it’s in progress. This means they are working on their friendship.
In the full week QNA, it is stated that Starecrown knows of Hex, Bob, Trollge (though the specific mod was unmentioned), Tabi, Sky (the two would have extensive conversations about their shared idol), and Tricky.
The Starecrown mod has been built off of the Zardy mod, which would explain why Starecrown also turns invisible during the first song, STARE. In the bottom left corner, the song “Foolhardy” from the Zardy mod is present further proving this fact.
- This has been changed in the full week, and now you can actually see Starecrown’s movement sprites without him fading!
- The error of “Foolhardy” being in the corner instead of the actual songs names has also been replaced. Also fixed in the full week update.
This is one of the first mods where the character barely does any of the singing at all until later on in the song.
- However, each song after the first has Starecrown sing earlier and earlier.
  - STARE has Starecrown scream in the last minutes of the song which is a trait not often seen in other mods. He does this in order to catch Boyfriend off guard. This does seemingly nothing to Boyfriend as he’s confident in winning his next rap battle, however Girlfriend appears visibly terrified.
  - Staredown has Starecrown sing earlier than in STARE. Again, same strategy to intimidate Boyfriend, but this time with the darkening environment, Boyfriend starts to sweat. An indication that this 3 year old being is something that Boyfriend has never faced before.
It's implied that he is aware of the 4th wall due to knowing who "boyfriend.xml" really is.
The dialogue in the crown Corruption mod is a reference to one of the Starejoke QnA videos, where Jofini says “Starecrown and lemon demon have an intense sexual relationship”, only to immediately say that he was lying about it.
The double notes when Boyfriend is singing represent his anxiety, the whole charting is to represent how Boyfriend feels to have Starecrown watch him.
- The reason Starecrown sings during the 2 minute mark is to throw Boyfriend off his guard (one of his favorite things to do), as soon as Starecrown sees Starecrown's idol struggling to sing while doing this, Starecrown stops.
The first song is supposed to represent Boyfriend’s uneasiness against a new foe (first part), then slowly building up confidence and not stuttering (double notes). When the charting becomes wacky, this is Starecrown using his unexpected tactics to unnerve his idol.
- If you look a little closer around Boyfriend, there are eyes occasionally flashing which are staring and observing Boyfriend. Inside, he feels like everyone is watching him, despite there being two other people in Starecrown’s dimension.
The charting on Phase 1 and 2 is supposed to represent one emotion: Dread.
One part of Starecrown's phase 1 song sounds very, very similar to Frogsong.
Halfway in Starecrown's phase 2 song, there is a slight resemblance to Megalovania from a popular indie game known as Undertale.
Also, in Starecrown’s phase 3 song, one of the parts is a callback to the first song. This is seen in the charting and voices.
Body Inversion has Edgecrown sing, or screech, immediately in the first seconds of the song, the opposite of what happened in STARE. This hasty maneuver may be another strategy that Starecrown has in place to scare Boyfriend. Of course, Boyfriend expects himself to take the lead as Starecrown stares. However, with Starecrown’s enlarged and scary appearance, screaming early may be more effective than waiting, which is what his idol expects.
In both categories, Starecrown has the least amount of frames for his idle:
- 3 in the sprite-sheet.
- 1 ingame.
In the Freeplay Menu, if you scroll all the way to the bottom, there is a secret song called Madness, which is a cover of the Madness song from The Tricky Mod with the vocals of Starecrown and different BF Vocals.
He is the second mod character to have Madness in their Freeplay section without being related to Madness Combat, first being Sunday.
- Coincidentally, they start with the letter "S".
The line at the end of Body Inversion is taken directly from RetroSpecter's livestream of the mod, where he read a donation he received while still having the demonic filter to his voice that he used for Starecrown's voice.
According to the creator of the mod in the community tab, Starecrown's week name is "The Great Staredown".
If Starecrown was to ever be seen without wearing his crown, Jofini himself would die.^[11]
Starecrown has mommy issues.^[12]
One time, Starecrown got drunk from drinking too much Liquid Gatetail™.^[13]
Starecrown and ClownCrown host a cooking show together.
Starecrown almost inverted himself out of existence one time when he accidentally tripped into a puddle.
The 2 small squiggly things on Starecrown's tail are sensors which detect dimension he is in as well as control where starecrown wants to go to while inside one of the wormwholes he creates^[14].They are also magic and physical sensors.^[15]
Starecrown possesses many abilities^[16], these are:

- Having an infinitely long and sharp tounge

- Mind manipulation and mind reading

With Starecrown being an angel, he can live forever, without dying from old age.^[18]
Starecrown has no veins. Blood flows through him via a network of wires.^[19]
Starecrown's scream sound is Jofini himself screaming, just with extra added effects.^[20]
Being inside Starecrown's dimension feels extremely unnerving since it is specially designed for Starecrown to be able to stare at his idols from all possible angles, thus the feeling of constantly being watched by everyone is created.^[21]
Starecrown lives in a cardboard box which he tries decorating in order to make it feel more like an actual home.^[22]
- The box is small on the outside but big on the inside.
Starecrown is really good at baking homemade brownies.^[23]
Starecrown is an epic Among Us gamer.^[24]
Because Starecrown is very often judged for his Appearance, he takes insults very well.
Throughout his entire lifetime, Starecrown has only killed one person. And it was accidental too.^[25]
