Vs. Documic.txt is a mod created by kofv that features Documic.TXT, an entity born from a Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) ROM Hack[2] that corrupts and feasts on computer code.[3] It consists of a full week for Documic, along with bonus songs featuring Soink'.fla, Jman and Kofv, two developers, and Sonic and Shadow from the Tails Gets Trolled web-comic, ete etc etc.

― Documic.TXT, PC Takeover
Documic.TXT (or .txt) is the main opponent of the mod. He is an entity born from a Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) ROM Hack[2] that corrupts and feasts on computer code.[3]
Appearance[]
Documic.TXT seems to resemble a white hedgehog creature with three window/tab buttons hovering above him - "Minimize", "Maximize", and "Close" - like you would typically see on a text document. He has red eyes, wears a pair of white gloves and sneakers with the word "sonic" repeating over them.
In his second song, "System Captured", Documic "maximizes" himself, increasing his size and resulting in him losing his legs and floating.
In his third song, "PC Takeover", Documic appears only as a white outline on a BSOD. Only his upper body is visible and his mouth as well.
In "Textus Documus", Documic appears as a white crewmate with three quills on the back of his head, a worried brow, and his username displayed atop his head.
In "He Appears", Documic is simplified in design, lacking any arms and appearing small, like his opponent.
In "PC Nightmares", Documic exerts his full power and becomes a nightmare with purple flames from his head and bright purple eyes. He is completely turned dark while having a faint purple outline on him.
In "Standstill" and "Old Document", he is seen wearing a slightly aggy white t-shirt with black sleeves. His left pose also shows that he has paper/document logo??? in the soles of his shoes.
In "Oucomic", Documic becomes styled like an Atari-sprite and made smaller, just like his opponent Ourple Guy.

Soink'.fla is one of the opponents you face as Documic.TXT after the main week, in the song Format Fight. Soink is an entity born from a parody animation of Sonic and was given sentience by a mysterious individual. He is also Documic's boyfriend.
Appearance[]
Soink appears as a blue and less-detailed parody of Sonic with different-shaped eyes (one circle and one diamond) and pupils, with a circle and line-shaped pupil. He also has his red shoes and gray socks and gloves.
In "Standstill", he is seen wearing a red jacket and pants with the jacket having a ring logo.
In "Oucomic", he is also styled as an Atari sprite, deep blue in color with white eyes and holding a black speaker.

Sonic the Hedgehog is one character of the Tails Gets Trolled web-comic, however this specific variant of TGT sonic comes from a cancelled mod known as Tails Gets Funkin'. His song "Blue Pokemon" also originates from this mod, however it has been redone as an encore.

Sonic appears as a poorly drawn anthropomorphic blue hedgehog wearing white gloves and red shoes. In some artworks, he is seen holding a cup of lean.

Shadow the Hedgehog is another character of the Tails Gets Trolled webcomic and also hails from Tails Gets Funkin, in his song "The Awesome".
Appearance[]
Just like Sonic, Shadow is a badly drawn anthropomorphic black hedgehog with red patches of fur and white tufts near his neck. He also wears red and white gloves and red shoes, and wields a knife, gun, and microphone.

Jman is a former developer of Tails Gets Funkin and is an opponent in Minor Inconvenience against Kofv.
Appearance[]
Jman appears as a humanoid male with white skin and a round head. He has purple eyes and melting-off hair. His outfit is also purple consisting of a shirt, dark pants, and sneakers.

Kofv[]
Kofv is the lead developer of Vs. Documic.txt and the creator of Documic.txt. He is also the player character in Minor Inconvenience.
Appearance[]
Kofv appears as an off-white humanoid with large eyes, small black horns, and puffy hair. On his neck is a gray bandana and has drawn shadows.

“How'd you get here?”
― Caution, Caution
Caution is the opponent in the self-titled song Caution. He is the guardian of the sub-level of the Documic.txt game that resides under the BIOS menu of the game, birthed from a messed up Haxe port of Sonic 3 that left him corrupted and trapped under the surface of the mod. He assumed no one reach him until Boyfriend somehow found a way there, he begs him to leave so he doesn't become buggy and corrupted like him but he soon realizes a battle is the only way out.[4]
Appearance[]
Caution appears as a completely yellow figure (excluding his blue gloves and arms) of Sonic from the late 90s. He has an exclamation point for a face and a slight blush on his cheeks.
In 3D, he appears like Sonic in the early 3D Sonic games, his second 3D form causes him to become glitchy and glowing.
In his Otherworld form, he gets very tall and changes colors in his poses.

Malicous also referred to as Malic, Malicumic, or Documic.EXE is the EXE version of Documic and he appears in the song Stand Still. He is a joke based on the fact that people called Documic an EXE a lot, he is also a way to make fun of the Sonic.exe mod for being edgy.

Malicous appears as a white hedgehog creature like Documic but he is very tall and lanky, he has a face similar to that of Xenophanes, and the "Sonic" text throughout Documic's body is replaced with the word "Evil".

Black is a character from VS. Impostor and was appears in Textus Documus.
Appearance[]
The Black Impostor is an abnormally large astronaut with a dark blueberry like tone, wearing an orange singular-striped traffic cone. Unlike their most common depiction from VS. Impostor, Black in this mod has a round visor and a less bright red glare. He also has a smaller less bloodied knife, and now moves similarly to Top 10 Awesome Impostor.

Sonk.ROM was an opponent who was going to appear in File Execution.[7] He is an EXE that is a parody of Sonic and is a playful and mischievous virus that loves cookies and fun.

Lil Hedge[]
Lil Hedge was a character that was going to appear in his self titled song in V3 but ended up going unused. Not much is known about him as of now but it is known that he is a rapper.
Torrent[]
Torrent is a computer virus hailing from Friday Night Troubleshootin'. After Boyfriend clicks a suspicious link for free audio samples, he is pulled into a digital realm known as the Funktrix, where the mysterious entity entraps him, hoping to have some fun while stealing his personal information. He would have appeared in a freeplay collab song along with Nitro but it went unused.

Torrent is a virus with floating, detached body parts. It's head and hair is a pale yellow and it wears green headphones. Their torso and bottom half are cadet blue and pale maroon and it's hands are bright mauve with green fingertips. They have pale yellow glitches coming off the back of their hands and their bottom half. In front of them they have three floating record discs
Nitro[]
Nitro is another computer virus who serves as the opponent of Week 2 of Friday Night Troubleshootin'. They are a virus spawning from a fake Discord Nitro link Daddy Dearest sent to Boyfriend and Girlfriend, leading them both to get sucked back into Funktrix, again. He would have appeared in a collab song with Torrent but it went unused.

Nitro is a periwinkle-blue virus with blue hair, black horns and shoulder spikes, a polygonal body, silver wings and floating arms. They have a large black visor over their eyes and their lower half ends in 3 spikes.

Tails Doll is a demonic entity from Soulles DX, having as a vessel its original counterpart created by Dr. Robotnik as a robotic counterpart to Tails in order to compete in races against Sonic. He would have appeared in the song "Heeby Jeebies" where Documic trapped him in a Textbox, it went unused however.

Tails Doll is a doll meant to resemble his organic counterpart, having many simplified features such as small, round eyes, circular hands with no fingers, and no mouth. On his head is some sort of jewel attached to an antenna, which seems to be the source of his power.

Fatal Error is a powerful and malicious AI hiding within Sonic's body with the goal of consuming code to the point of destroying various programs. He originates from Fatal Files was an opponent in the mod but ended up going unused.

Fatal appears as a giant red and black monster hiding within a Sonic body. He has small sharp red teeth with four giant arms with red clawed hands. His true form can be seen peeking in his black torso in the form of a small eye blinking out. In this mod, he is seen emerging from a static red portal.

- This is the first mod to open files during songs, those being documic.txt in "New Document" and various fake "Error" boxes that rapidly appear during "PC Takeover".
- It is also one of the mods to open a Google link during a song, being the ":)" arrows that appear in "New Document". The arrows will open this link on your web browser.
- It's canon that Soink'.fla and Documic.TXT are dating.
