Friday Night Funkin': CG5 Edition is a mod that adds new songs by CG5, who also takes the role of the mod's antagonist. In this mod, Boyfriend, who's managed to make it to the big leagues of the music industry, is challenged by Charlie and OR3O in a battle of musical wits. The tutorial and Week 1 are specially themed for this mod, with more content teased to come in a later update. CG5 is also a famous YouTuber known to remix songs and make some including a few on Among Us, Minecraft, etc.

Charlie Green, better known as CG5, is the opponent of his mod.

Appearance

He has brown hair and wears a blue shirt over a plaid shirt, grey pants, and white and red shoes. He also wears red headphones. He uses a standing microphone in this mod.

Currently, CG5 has 3 million subscribers on YouTube.
CG5's name is based on his real name, Charlie Green the Fifth, as he is the fifth generation of Charlie Green in his family.
CG5's smug pose was planned to be implemented as a V-pose similar to Boyfriend's. It was scrapped for being too unstable.
CG5 has a notable sound, as well as some dialogue at the end of his third and final song, Knock Knock, where you can hear him cry and yell "I TRIED MY BEST!!!". He has no sprites for this, as it might have been scrapped.

OR3O is the real-life cousin of fellow YouTuber/musician LilyPichu.
OR3O can speak at least 4 languages as she is multilingual.

It's the first mod to fully incorporate a week with full lyrics to the songs.
The posters in the background both represent a song made by CG5. The Dream poster represents "I See A Dreamer" (A song about Minecrafter Dream) and the Crewmate poster represents "Lyin' 2 Me" (A song about Among Us).
- The text "Failure To Success" seen above is a nod to the song of the same name CG5 composed based on Henry Stickmin.
Ploosh is a clear reference to zero_one from The Living Tombstone. (CG5 has done remixes of that channel's songs.)
If more weeks were to be made, they would be of CG5's friends (e.g Natewantstobattle).
