The development or possible updates of this mod have been canceled, so a release of its new content is not expected. The reasons for this vary, such as: controversies, lack or loss of interest, the disappearance or lack of passion for the mod, or simply a lack of ideas.
Reason: Ghsargent (previously known as Møizyx) tried to own the mod, along with everyone else in the team. EricFoda, the main owner, lost touch with the developer team, so he didn't know what was happening in the dev server of the mod. When he came back, he kicked everyone in the server and cancelled the mod. All was resolved, but Ghsargent doesn't want to be associated with the mod anymore. The same can be said with the developers toward Ghsargent.[1]

Displo is a character created by EricFoda. He is a robot bartender created to serve drinks to customers at a bar called "Displo's". For a robot, he is really good at doing his job. However, Boyfriend got him past the breaking point, and broke his monitor.
Appearance[]
Displo is an extremely skinny robot with very tall legs. He wears a button-up tuxedo with a red bowtie. For his second form, he gains the SMPTE color bars on his face. For his third form, his monitor is broken. He has two TV antennas on his head, one of which becomes bent in his second and third forms.
Development History[]
V1.0[]
The start of the development history is pretty much unknown where it was; however, it was in development with a WIP page on April 18, 2021. EricFoda was the main developer for the mod, while using the KadeDev Engine. Later Bispo000 would participate in the production as a charter. Finally, the mod was released on April 27, 2021.
The mod has a big reception, within being featured as "Best of the Banana" on April 30, 2021, having a lot of reception with the fans. The mod was made in Adobe Animate, Visual Studio Code +, Haxe, and FL Studio.
V2.0[]

The mod was planned to have a V2.0 version, with the W.I.P page for the mod being released on February 5, 2022. The mod was in production of EricFoda, Main developer and Musician, Ghsargent, Programmer and Charter and Mr. Omnion Artist. As opposed to using the KadeDev Engine in V1.0, V2.0 would use the Psych Engine. However, the mod was cancelled with only 25% of the progress being completed.
However, things weren't going good on the production for the mod as of the beginning of April 2022[3]). A majority of the developer team wanted to own the mod. This has led toward a negative impact on production. The real owner for the mod, EricFoda, didn't even talk or interact with the dev server for a month. Since then, the artist was stressed from the situation, alongside a side-drama happening with Ghsargent. Ghsargent also added "fake informations" (as how Ghsargent says) for Displo's Funkipedia Mods Wiki page,[4] along with teasers for the mod.
This resulted in the mod being cancelled, as EricFoda kicked all the members from the server, closed the server, and cancelled without any warnings for the public. It was in, as confirmed by Ghsargent, "10 days of pure hell development". Afterwords, the team just wanted to move on and forget about the update, with the team not wanting to associate with Ghsargent anymore.
Trivia[]
- Displo is one of the few characters in a mod who is actually fighting against their own will.
- Curiously, his icon gives him a face even though he doesn't have one.
- V.S. Displo is one of the few mods where Boyfriend's beeps are not treated as a language, and instead are just random noises he makes (like in canon).
- The bar right behind Displo is a reference to the iconic flash game Bartender: The Right Mix.

- In V.S. Pompom, his head is in a store display case in the background of BARK! next to Static and NDXL's heads.
- In VS. Hex: The Weekend Update, he can be seen corrupted by IRIS in the freeplay song Glitcher (Remix).
