Macy[]

Oh! It's you! Zuki's little rapper cousin dude!
― Macy, Coffee Date

Mackenzie Isabelle Cortez (or Macy for short), is a character from The Weeg Mod, an aspiring musician, and the main opponent of Week A. Her week includes 3 songs, named Coffee Date, Electromace, and Gigavolt.

Appearance[]

Macy has brown hair, maroon glasses and pink wrist bands. She also wears a green t-shirt with black and green sport shorts, as well as green sneakers and knee high socks.

In Encore Mode, everything that's green turns purple, her hair turns black, and her glasses turn blue.

Lore[]

CANON TO BOTH FNF MACY AND MAIN (COMIC TITLE) MACY

Mackenzie Isabelle Cortez, aka everyone’s favorite Macy, was born on February 14, as one of two twins, the other being her sister Maya, and overall the youngest of her three siblings. Her main inspirations in her life are her mother, Daphne Cortez, who was a famous rock star before her birth, and Kazuki Ongaku, a young, retired J-Pop idol she’s always been a fan of.

Personality wise, Macy has always been the competitive type. This drive of hers allows her to compete in a variety of sports with decent results, especially tennis. And she’s never been one to accept losing, either, as Macy is a VERY sore loser, quick to blow a casket and say things she doesn’t really mean. However, putting all this energy into trying to be the best quickly tires Macy out, leading her to constantly be drinking coffee, which has become her favorite drink.

This addiction to caffeine is also what led to Macy meeting her crush in person. After retirement, Kazuki started up a cafe, the Cerulean (which’ll be the main setting of future comic woooOOOOOO-), in midtown Manhattan. This small opening caught the attention of Ms. Cortez, who went in to check to see what the place was about. As soon as she saw the blue haired robot girl, Macy INSTANTLY recognized who she was, and tried striking up a conversation with her.

Macy currently helps out at the Cerulean during the daytime, while performing as an up and coming rock star at night under the stage name Electromace, trying to find success just like her mother did. She’s also trying to find success in her love life, trying to win over the heart of her boss and best friend.

WEEG MOD EXCLUSIVE LORE

Now in a romantic relationship, Macy and Kazuki are now both co-owners of the Cerulean. Her talents as a musician are also recognized somewhat, albeit with a much smaller crowd. One day, Macy’s mother Daphne invites her to a karaoke session, eager to see her daughter’s improvement and introduce her to a long time friend of hers. Eager to make her mom proud, Macy rushes off to the karaoke bar, mic in hand, but not without being dropped off at Grand Central by her girlfriend. However, while locating which terminal she has to go to, she’s interrupted by a passerby, who only makes one sound.

“Beep!”

To her left, a blue haired teen and his girlfriend, who happened to be sitting on a set of speakers which just so happened to be in the center of the terminal, were looking at her, and the mic in her hand. Her competitive spirit riling up, Macy was ready for anything the blue haired kid threw at her.

INSERT MACY WEEK PLOT HERE: she get mad, sing faster, even more mad, sing even faSTER OH MY GOD-

Ok so that happened. Macy accepts defeat from BF and continues on her way to her terminal, ready to meet up with her mom. Meanwhile, Kazuki, in the crowd watching as she hasn’t left the station yet, is moved by just how much her girlfriend put into her performance. She makes quick haste to her cafe, expecting two customers within the hour…

COMIC EXCLUSIVE LORE THING

Right when this series (will) start, Macy would have known Zuki for about a year. While working towards a steady wage and a steady relationship, she meets old friends, new friends, and even a short alien girl. Of course, since this is all a work in progress comic idea, this isn’t as developed as the Funkin’ mod, which has its own story and everything fully realized, essentially.

(All of this lore comes from this.)

Trivia[]

  • Macy's encore form is based off of Waluigi.
  • Macy's old voice is an edit of GenoX's Girlfriend UTAU voice bank, since it is based off the unused Girlfriend voice sounds found in the files.
  • Macy's new voice is taken from Ann Takamaki from Persona 5.
  • Macy is canonically bisexual.
  • Due to her literally not knowing she has electrokinesis, she’s known to set everything she’s cooking on fire. Including water.
  • If it weren’t obvious, green is her favorite color, just like her father.
  • Having taken self defence lessons as a young teen, Macy has some strength to her, especially her kicks.
  • Macy’s birthday being February 14 has no relation to Valentine’s Day; the creator just chose that day because that’s the day he created her (February 14, 2018)
  • Macy is trilingual: She was raised learning English and Spanish, and also picked up some sort of Japanese from Kazuki.
  • Macy’s hair stays in it’s wacky shape due to a combination of static buildup in her hair, and Macy herself training it to stay that way. It’s still fluffy, just that it has a small chance to shock whoever touches it. The only part not affected by either of these things is her ahoge.
  • Before V1.01 of The Weeg Mod, Macy had less saturated hair.
  • Macy doesn’t actually need glasses, she just thinks they look good on her.
  • The ideal burger for Macy would be one topped with cheese, bacon, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
  • Macy’s decisions tend to be less… intelligent at times. She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  • After the FNF mod takes place, during karaoke sessions Macy and Kazuki would sing Coffee Date together.
  • The highlights of her early life include standing up for herself and beating up the school bully in highschool, and discovering Kazuki’s music.
  • After learning the electric guitar, she’s played it at some of her mom’s comeback performances.
  • Macy is deadly afraid of bugs. Especially roaches.
  • Her favorite animal is mice. She even has a pet mouse named Philip.
  • In the mod files, there are assets for a Girlfriend-styled Macy.
  • Macy is canonically friends with Bob.

Kazuki[]

Well, it's simple... all I want is one thing. For you to sing your heart out!!
― Kazuki, I Love You

Kazuki Ongaku, often nicknamed Zuki, is a character from The Weeg Mod. A former pop idol and owner of The Cerulean cafe, she's the main opponent of Week D. Her week includes 3 songs, being I Love You, Sunnyside Up, and Achievable Fantasy. She also appears as the player character for the hidden song Senpairella.

She later appeared in her own mod, Zukireta. She gains an additional song, the titular Zukireta, once again as the playable character.

Prior to version 3.0 of The Weeg Mod, Kazuki's design was relatively the same, except for her shirt, which was a solid cerulean turtleneck.

In the final minute of Achievable Fantasy, her outfit changes, revealing her idol uniform. Ditching the glasses, her hair is now down, revealing an ahoge similar to her girlfriend's. Kazuki now sports a gray button-down shirt, a lighter gray undershirt, gray knee-high socks, a blue skirt, and matching knee-high blue boots.

Trivia[]

  • Kazuki's voice samples are taken from Kasane Teto.
    • This, in part, served as the basis for Zukireta.
  • Kazuki is the second robot in her series. Her sisters Redd and Yvonne are the third and first respectively.
  • Aside from her idol form, Kazuki is one of few characters to not be animated during a hold note.
