Characters[]
Ace[]
Ace is a character made by Kamex, doubling has his internet persona. He is the titular character of the mod, appearing throughout most of its songs.
Appearance[]
Ace is a hybrid between a Dragon and a Goat. He has white horns, a goatee, light blue fur with a white underbelly and long navy blue hair. He wears a white shirt underneath a black parka with a red trim. He also wears a red handkerchief around his neck, gray jeans and a golden earring.
As Iceolation, he appears larger and bulkier overall. His fur becomes less saturated and his hair turns white. His horns, goatee and claws are made of ice. The only piece of clothing he has left are his jeans, now torn due to his transformation. His earring is replaced by diamond-shaped shards of ice.
Trivia[]
- He was created in June 2015.
- His first public appearance on the internet was Kamex's "Undertale - Spider Dance Remix"
- His eyes are shown as black rather than brown to fit Friday Night Funkin's artstyle.
- Whenever Ace gets too excited, he'll unintentionally cause a snowstorm.
- Ace's Iceolation form is driven by his sadness and insecurities. He seeks to be left alone in order to calm down.
- Iceolation was featured in Vs. RetroSpecter prior to his addition in this mod.
- His winning icon goes unused in this mod.
- He did not commit the crime shown in the background of "North".[1]

Minus Ace[]
Mace, also referred to as Minus Ace, is the official Minus design for Ace, first appearing in the crowd of Vs. RetroSpecter's Minus week. The events of his own week take place between the songs "Preseason" and "Sigma" of the previously mentioned mod.
Appearance[]
Mace is a serpentine dragon, lacking legs and being capable of idle flight. His body is light blue (Much like his icon) with a white underbelly, a dark mane, and a few stripes of the same color around his tail. He wears a coat with a soft blue shirt underneath, different to the color of his body. He also has a red handkerchief around his neck, two long horns and thick shaggy hair.

- As Ace's minus form, an "M" is added to the beginning of his name, resulting in "Mace".
- Despite minus character designs being based on the original character's icons, Mace has an unique set of icons just for himself.
- A minus version of Iceolation is shown to exist thanks to the OST video of "Finals".

Minus RetroSpecter[]
Metro, also referred to as Minus RetroSpecter, is the official Minus design for RetroSpecter and a guest character originating from Vs. RetroSpecter.
Appearance[]
Metro has a stockier build than the regular RetroSpecter. He is cyan in color (Much like his icon) and has a bit of hair, small horns, and a glowing green eye. He wears a white sports jacket with black accents, a stylized "R", and a blue hood, along with gray jeans and fingerless gloves on both his hands and feet. Dark stripes can be seen around his tail, which posesses a third hand.
Trivia[]
- As RetroSpecter's minus form, the "R" in his name is replaced with an "M", resulting in "Metro".
- Unlike in his mod of origin, Metro's winning icon goes unused.
- Despite minus character designs being based on the original character's icons, Metro has an unique set of icons just for himself.
- His voice resembles that of Gold.
- He is allergic to pomegranates.
- He doesn't like tea.

Elise and Sven are both minor characters in the mod. They come in and play the final song of Week 3, "Coffee Shop", to help Iceolation calm down and change back to his normal form.

Sakuroma[]
Sakuroma is a representation of the sin of Lust and a guest character originating from Vs. RetroSpecter.
Appearance[]
Sakuroma is a moth-like demon. Her skin is primarily white with pink accents, primarily underneath her four arms and hands, behind her legs, her face around the eyes, and her groin area which is shaped like a heart. She has two sets of large moth wings colored pink, white, and purple in the middle. She has two large white horns and two sets of pink and purple antennae: One behind her which can be used as whips, and the other in-front of her horns and is rather small. She has purple eyes with black eyelashes and various white patches of fur, such as her neck fur, and her leg and arm fur, all of which have pink and purple spots of varying shapes.
Trivia[]
- Unlike in her mod of origin, Sakuroma's danger and winning icons go unused.
- In the Week 2 update's initial release, Sakuroma had her old icons despite using her new sprites. This has since been patched.
- She can use her ribbons as whips.
- She can use pheromones to attract victims to do her bidding.
- She always walks on her tip-toes, similar to a ballerina dancer.
- Her tongue can extend up to 3 feet long.
- She is attracted to bright lights, and is afraid of being alone in the dark.

Minus Sakuroma[]
Maku, also referred to as Minus Sakuroma, is the official Minus design for Sakuroma and a guest character originating from Vs. RetroSpecter.
Appearance[]
Maku is magenta in color (Much like her icon) and has a muscular physique. She has a bean-shaped head with magenta eyes, smaller and more plump antennae, tear outlines, curved horns on the back of her head and pink stripes around her arms and legs. She wears a black top with an heart-shaped breast window, sharp pink shoes and pink puffs around her legs. Her wings are more akin to those of a butterfly and are glistening with sparkles. She also holds pink pompoms and has a ribbon-like tail.

- Unlike Mace and Metro, Maku doesn't have an unique set of icons to separate her from the original Sakuroma.
- Despite her looking more like a butterfly, RetroSpecter said on stream that she is still a moth.
- Her animations are mostly the same as in her mod of origin, however, Maku's up animation in this mod is her alt up animation in Vs. RetroSpecter.

Gameplay Mechanics - Ice Notes and Blizzard[]
- During every song except for Concrete Jungle and Groundhog Day, Ice Notes will appear. Hitting these notes will freeze the player's control for 2 seconds. However, these can be disabled in the settings.
- Blizzard also appears and it makes the screen blurry.
- Additionally, you can play on a new difficulty called Swapped, where the vocals for both the opponent and player are switched, making you play the chart the opponent has on Hard.

Trivia (General)[]
- In Story mode, the player can only choose Boyfriend. Fun-sized Ace and RetroSpecter is unlocked after beating it.
- Ace will have different dialogues for each character.
- For some reason, Ace's old losing icon in Frostbite was unused.
- In week 2, it was changed so both the neutral and losing icons are the same.
- When you die multiple times in a song with Ice Notes enabled, Ace will pop up giving you the option to disable them.
- Some of Original Ectospasm's losing dialogues mention this too to poke fun at you.
- Ace shares a song name with the mods Castle Crashers Boss Rush REVIVED and Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby, that being Frostbite.
- With the Week 2 update, he now also shares a song name with Pumpkin Pie, that being North.
- On December 24th, 2021, the official director and creator of Ace was part of a lyrical adaption of Sub-Zero by a YouTuber named Juno Songs, the creator of Shinobi Scramble and Friday Night Funkin': Big Swingin' Sister. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1ueQGoK4bc)
