Discontinued

My final… Emerald Splash… - Kakyoin

The development or possible updates of this mod have been canceled, so a release of its new content is not expected. The reasons for this vary, such as: controversies, lack or loss of interest, the disappearance or lack of passion for the mod, or simply a lack of ideas.

Reason: According to a community post made by Lemonemy, one of the composers for the mod, the planned update has been cancelled, citing a lack of motivation as the reason behind the decision.

Unfinished Page

It really don't matter, your chances of making it are shorter than your height. - Kia

This article lacks content, whether it be lacking Assets, Trivia, Music, or something else. You can help Funkipedia Mods Wiki by expanding it with more info! Thank you!

Reason: Missing animated idle for both preboot and reboot. Also, we need the pre-boot animations for his Heck Secret song. And we also need the NEW Version of Heck, and LOTS more needed.

Issues Present: Re-reboot idle has a grey background.

Damn, That's crazy.
Deimos, referring to the Scrapeface in An Experiment

Scrapeface is a character created by Krinkels, and added in by Lemonemy and DeltaB. Boyfriend and Girlfriend were invited over to a lab in Nevada, but upon entering... the place seems... strangely empty. All except for one grunt, with a lack of a face. And multiple scientist grunt bodies, strewn across the lab.

Will Boyfriend be able to soothe this faceless grunt?

Appearance[]

Scrapeface appears as a Grunt whose face has been roughly scraped against concrete, showing torn skin and a partially visible skull along with having hands that have blood on them.

History[]

Scrapeface originates from the Madness Combat short "An Experiment", where he is an involuntary test subject in an experiment to see what happens if a grunt's hands are stretched far away from their body. The resulting experiment causes Scrapeface to convulse in the air and injure himself, causing his titular face injury. The experiment causes Scrapeface to gain a mysterious ability to "glitch" himself and the environment around him, including other people. In the short, he causes a massacre in the lab conducting the experiment, and causes the lab to explode, killing everyone in it, including him.

Gameplay Mechanics[]

  • Scrapeface will send out black arrows with A thick, glowing white outline, which have A thin, bright red outline, that act like Tricky's Fire Arrows in "Hellclown", in that pressing them will result in Boyfriend losing A chunk of his health.
    • Note that Scrapeface himself also avoids the black arrows.
  • Every now and then, while Scrapeface is singing, red static will flash over the screen, taking out a chunk of Boyfriends health, similar to Cerberus, during "Yap Squad", (Bob and Bosip.)
  • At one point, Scrapeface will force the game into window mode and shake the window around.
  • In the Pre-Reboot, Scrapeface would send out red arrows with, (presumably), "Demon Horns", coming out of the top left and right of the note.
    • These notes would automatically end your game if you hit them, much like the way that Tricky's Halo Arrows work in "Expurgation".
  • During some parts of "Mistake", while Scrapeface is singing, he will slowly drain your health bar, similar to the way that Tabi functions, during "Genocide".
  • Note: The black arrows and the demon arrows are directly from FNF modding plus engine.

Trivia[]

  • The layout of the notes, during "Heck", are similar to that of Bob's note layout, in "Run", and Ron's note layout within "Bloodshed".
  • It is said that Scrapeface has one of the most gruesome backstories within the characters of Madness Combat.
  • Scrapeface's reboot and re-reboot seem to have a slightly broken microphone, this is presumably because Scrapeface can glitch many things, meaning that the microphone might of as well been glitched.
  • Scrapeface is the only Madness Combat protagonist to die in the same episode he is introduced in.
  • It is unconfirmed if Scrapeface has conscious control over his abilities, given how he seems to become affected by his own powers at times.
  • During "Heck", whenever Scrapeface is singing, the screen will continuously flash red, which also drains Boyfriends health bar, just like the way that he works in "Mistake".
  • While playing "Heck", Scrapeface will have no microphone. The reason behind this is unknown.
  • Scrapeface will also have no blood on his hands/body, (in "Heck"), this reason is also unknown.
  • Scrapeface's Re-reboot shows more flesh, not only showing the inside flesh of his face, but also showing the inside flesh of some of his right hand.
  • During "Heck", red arrows with, (presumably), "Demon Horns", coming out of the top left and right of the note, will be thrown in, while also having the Black Notes being mixed in as well.
    • You can still find these arrows within the notes sprite sheet.
      • Scrapeface, much like the Black Notes, will avoid them, as well as the player.
  • This is the second mod to have two types of notes that can end the players game (or damage their health bar), the first being Bob, during "Onslaught".
  • When the screen goes into window mode, and starts moving around, during "Mistake" and "Heck", the direction of where the screen moves to is completely randomised.
  • Scrapeface's up pose, in "Heck", is the only pose to be slightly, (or completely), glitched.
  • Whenever Scrapeface is singing, within "Heck", Boyfriend will switch from his normal idle animation, to his scared/nervous idle animation.
  • The entire time throughout "Heck", the screen will be shaking, which can be sickening for some.
  • You can only access "Heck", by pressing "7", while being in A battle, and then going over to "Song", and inserting in the little box, (where the song name is), the name, "Heck". Then, you reload the audio and the JSON. Press enter, once you've done this, and you've accessed the song.
    • "Heck", only can be played in the Pre-boot version of the mod.
