VS Kai: Rekindled (also known as simply VS Kai) is a self-insert OC mod currently owned by grbr2006, formerly owned by BlakeDude7 and Widen2wo, and originally created by The_Mayz.
The mod focuses on the titular Kai, how his violent tendencies came to be, and helping him overcome his traumatic experience involving a certain member of the Dearest family.

Kai is a character currently owned by grbr2006 and JukoDuko. Previously owned by Widen2wo and BlakeDude7, and originally created by The_Mayz. He serves the main opponent of his titular mod.

Kai appears as a tall young man who wears a green t-shirt, dark blue pants, and yellow shoes with white soles and laces. His eyes are noticeably colored differently: his left eye is brown, while his right eye has a scar and is bright green. He has long, spiky hair, which covers his right eye.
During Trauma, he looks noticeably angrier than before.
During Payback, Kai snaps, holding Girlfriend at knifepoint.

He saw his hair getting messy, covered in mayonnaise with cigarette stubs, his clothes had ripped, wet from the toilet water, his face had bloody scratch marks, and his expression looking like he was living in a worst mood.
- When Kai comes up to Blake, He comforts and assures him around when they become best friends to make Blake feel like he isn't much alone.

Cora[]

Cora is a character currently owned by grbr2006 and JukoDuko. Originally created by The_Mayz. She is set to be an opponent in a future week. Her story has yet to be seen.
Appearance[]
Cora appears to be a tall and chubby woman. She wears a pink lip-stick, choker-spiked necklace, a black top with a hole shaped like a heart, fingerless gloves, black shorts, and black boots.
In her upcoming design, Cora appears mostly the same, but with a couple of differences. Cora has different hair, with it covering her right eye. Both of her eyes are dark pink now, and she doesn't wear lipstick. She is still chubby, albeit significantly scaled down.

Mommy Mearest[]
Mommy Mearest is the main overaching antagonist of the mod, and the opponent of the second week.
Appearance[]
Mommy Mearest's appearance remains unchanged from the base game. She has a demonic-looking appearance with purple skin, black eyes with red glowing pupils and long auburn hair with several pointed ends and a curved cowlick. She wears a form-fitting red dress underneath of a black jacket, black thigh-high heel boots, a black garter belt, golden hoop earrings, a golden necklace and a pair of golden bracelets on each wrist. She has dark red lipstick on and sharp, red-painted fingernails.
In M.A.L.K, she appears to be leaning more forward as opposed to standing up straight. She has a more sinister-looking expression.

Boyfriend, alternatively referred to as The Boyfriend, is the protagonist of Friday Night Funkin'.
Appearance[]
Boyfriend is a young, light-skinned man with spiky cyan hair and a confident expression. He wears a magenta-white T-shirt with a red prohibition sign, baggy dark blue pants, pink-red sneakers with magenta-white shoelaces and soles as well as black dots on the quarters, and a backward pink-red cap with a dark blue brim. He holds a bluish gray microphone in his right hand while keeping his left hand in his pocket. He is drawn in a chibi style, giving the impression that he is very small and/or disproportionate.
In the current version of Payback, Boyfriend has a scared and nervous expression due to Kai holding Girlfriend at knifepoint.

Juko[]
JukoDuko, otherwise known as Juko, is the protagonist of Friday Night Funkin: Vs. Juko. He is a developer for the mod, he originates from Vs. Juko, and appears in a Virgin Rage cover against TheMayz.
Appearance[]
Juko is a short male human with long, brown, spiky hair. He wears a blue shirt with white sleeves, along with dark blue pants, and red and white shoes. He also has a backpack.

Mayz[]
William Cooley Greene III, otherwise known as Mayz, is the former director and original creator of VS. Kai. He the antagonist of May-Mayz-4-Rage, a cover of Virgin Rage, where he goes against JukoDuko.

Mayz is a tall, fox-axolotl hybrid with a yellow-ish gray shirt, a triangle necklace, dark blue pants, and black shoes. He has an enraged look on his face.
His older sona was a human with a ponytail, a big green sweatshirt, blue pants, and bunny slippers.
His old sona, when he first rebranded himself as "Star_Lyt", was a cosmic bear with anakiwa shirt, a pansexual wrist band, and christalle pants.
