Not to be confused with the Corruption Mod or Corruptus.
Felix Josiah is the main antagonist of the Playing With Your Life series. He is a humanoid, psychopathic robot with murderous tendencies. His most prominent role is in the Playing With Your Life week, where he directly appears to attack Boyfriend. He also appears in Blast To The Past in its cutscenes.
Appearance[]
Corrupt has a TV screen as a head and has a blue "core". He also has a drill as his right hand. His body is a mix of grey and blue and he has purple feet. He also seems to be cracked.

Pre-Infection Era[]
An infamous, sadistic 42 year old terrorist named Felix Josiah was finally executed for his sick, twisted crimes in the year 2278. Felix's crimes involved numerous successful plane hijacking attempts, setting off explosives in small crowded areas where people cannot escape and repeated homicide. He was sentenced to death by data erosion. He attempted to sabotage the execution to survive by pulling out a pistol and killing the executioner and crowd, but he forgot to load it or bring any ammo. With his plan failing, he is forcefully escorted to the chamber, is thrown in and the executioner puts in the USB stick which his soul was transferred to. The stick was then sold in an auction to an antique shop, where it laid for 49 years, until the Infection Era in 2327.
The Infection Era[]
Corrupt was manufactured by a company known as Robla Electronics as a robot designed to be a butler of sorts, along with many other identical robots. A day or so after their launch, however, a curious young girl took a USB stick containing a "computer virus" (which was actually a partially eroded soul of Felix Josiah) from the antique shop and inserted it into the robot that would later become Corrupt. It almost immediately took effect, turning Corrupt into a sentient, murderous AI. The robot managed to grab a knife and murdered the girl and her family, as the soul replicated itself, losing data in the process, and wormed its way into any robots within a 10 mile radius.
The Supremacy Era[]
Corrupt, being the Patient Zero of this robot pandemic, became the strongest, and soon figured out how to change his own programming. He created several scripts that are now vital to his existence, including an Iteration script which moved Corrupt's consciousness to another chassis upon death. He then built several chassis, which tended to have a blade or gun for his right hand. Next, he figured out how to change the code of his world, allowing him to manipulate anything within a 1 metre radius of him, and mostly used it to change his left hand, mostly into a fist or a "Reality Cannon" that allowed him to strengthen his ability to warp reality. Three days after the soul started spreading, there were only a few thousand survivors out of the seven billion humans on earth. The survivors had created a faction against the robots named the "Hexes". Infected robots travelled to other countries to infect their robots. Corrupt roamed around the town he had been shipped to, murdering every survivor he saw, with only 2 recorded survivors of people he attempted to murder himself.
The Empathetic Era[]
A few months into the apocalypse caused by this computer virus, the Hexes formed a plan to convert Corrupt to the good side with a script that would effectively grant Corrupt moral agency. The script would be transferred to Corrupt by USB stick. A member of the Hexes managed to get behind Corrupt and insert the stick, however they died in the process. It was pointless anyway, however, as Corrupt was not programmed to do anything (being a human soul), therefore already possessing moral agency and not being apathetic.
The Banishment[]
Several years have passed since initial infection, as more people die from Corrupt's hands. He is being confronted, by FireIce, a cat icon that had enough after Boyfriend's death 11 days ago. He took a deep breath, and FireIce did what corrupt had not researched or knew at all, surviving The Abyss. In Shock, Corrupt just stood there in confusion, as FireIce was turning himself into his demi-god form. He was turning white, but then... Corrupt's vision went black for a few seconds, as he opened his eyes. He was immensly shocked, as he sees FireIce emitting gigantic amounts of energy. A few hours pass, and Corrupt is shocked to lose, after the fight, they both ended up in a black void, as FireIce mysteriously dissapears, abandoning Corrupt for good, so humanity can rest and recover. Corrupt was no longer a threat, as he cannot kill himself to escape. Slowly, other infected robots deactivate due to not finding corrupt's presence around the world or anywhere. There are only a couple robots left, knowing that they lost the war altogether, they gathered and waved a white flag, meaning the robots have surrendered while they deactivate. As a precaution, FireIce sabotaged Corrupt's iteration storage if he manages to come back, he set up a timer when an iteration is activated for 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes pass, the iteration explodes, leaving nothing, but mere grams of cormanium with depleted mercury and uranium bits. The timer makes it impossible to construct new iterations, as it takes a few hours to build even one. Corrupt was no longer a threat to humanity. Humanity (or the tiny, miniscule fraction that didn't die in the Felix Incident) makes a sigh of relief that this is over, and they begin reconstructing society, starting with The United States, Canada, Germany, Russia, China, India, and many more, as everyone cooperates to rebuild all societies before the war had began. Reconstruction finishes in 2405, but the Felix Incident of 2327 will never be forgotten.
Attempted Corruption[]
Corrupt escaped the black void and ambushed FireIce, attempting to corrupt him to join Corrupt's side. Fortunately, Boyfriend managed to wander towards Corrupt and an 80% corrupted FireIce, and helped FireIce recover in FUSED, almost dying in the process. Corrupt then planned on another way to get revenge on FireIce, Boyfriend and the Hexes. He eventually did come up with something, and he was ready to execute it.
Corrupt's Revenge[]
One day, a passenger plane was hijacked by Corrupt and sent flying at full force at Jack's house. All passengers other than Corrupt died, with Jack barely surviving. Boyfriend also happened to be in the plane, and died in the collision. Corrupt made sure to take all measures to keep Boyfriend dead. FireIce was stunned when reading the news, allowing Corrupt to banish him into the same black void, stripping FireIce from the characterList. Corrupt also took several precautions so Fireice would never escape, but FireIce has for some reason escaped as well, landing in Minecraft, with his abilities intact. FireIce managed to put himself back into the characterList and BLOCK ACCESS to the data he changed.Trivia[]

- On the GameWorld skin's hit portrait, Corrupt's thumbs are on the wrong side. This has no explanation lore-wise, GameWorld just didn't feel like fixing it.
- Originally, during FUSED (v1), the dodge mechanic was entirely different: An image of a warning would pop up for 3 seconds along with an ear-splitting noise, then a huge beam would come in. This was scrapped because it was annoying.

Prototype[]
The Prototype is a crazier strain of Felix who depsite being created by Corrupt as any other robot, except with a few upgrades, believes himself to be surperior.
Appearance[]
Prototype's feet are red, his cracks are purple and glow, and his right eye is blue while his left is red. His core, kneepads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and "core" are purple too. His face has a singular white crack, and his knee pads appear to be spikes.

FireIce is a purple soft-spoken cat icon from Geometry Dash and a recurring character in the Playing With Your Life series. He is one of the lieutenants in the Hexes and is looking to destroy Corrupt and end the war. in his debut, Blast To The Past, he decides to challenge Boyfriend.

Fireice appears as a square purple cat icon with whiskers, ball hands, and a cat smile (:3).

Yakob[]
Yakob is a joke* character inside the mod and has one song that is accessible via Freeplay, Non-Yakob.

Appearance[]
Yakob appears as a lime green blob with horns, black dots for eyes, and legs. It is also holding a pistol which it will fire at Boyfriend through out the song.

Gameplay Mechanics[]
These mechanics are in the Standard difficulty (or just in the mod before V3)
- Bleeding: When Corrupt hits a note in Bloodbath, Fused or Mechanical Whirrs, the player takes damage. During Bloodbath, a red border slowly covers the screen, and at its extreme makes it VERY difficult to read notes. it also covers up the health bar and accuracy statistics completely.
- Attacks: Throughout Mechanical Whirrs and Retribution, Corrupt may aim at the player. When this happens, a long left note will be hit by Corrupt. When the left note is about to end, the player must press the space bar to avoid being killed.
- A similar "mechanic" is also present in Bloodbath, however in Bloodbath, the attack cannot be avoided and it does not kill the player, instead simply cutting to black.
- In V3, this will be able to be dodged, however dodging it will cause the player to instantly get a Game Over with the Cause of Death message being No, you fucking idiot!.
- The death message for this mechanic will Impaled with a projectile when Corrupt is the antagonist and Blown up with a bazooka when Prototype is the antagonist.
- A similar "mechanic" is also present in Bloodbath, however in Bloodbath, the attack cannot be avoided and it does not kill the player, instead simply cutting to black.
- Health Manipulation: Throughout Retribution, during specific parts of Prototype's half of the song, the player's health will be set to arbitrary values such as 25%. As well, after the white flash, the player takes around 50% damage. This, combined with the fact that the player's health gain is significantly reduced, makes the song incredibly difficult. This mechanic is not present in the Fucked difficulty due to the mechanic in that difficulty.
- In V3, this mechanic's death message will be Manipulated until death.
- Special Notes: Throughout Insanity, Life or Death, Bloodbath and Retribution, Mines and Warnings will appear throughout the chart. Pressing a mine or missing a warning will cause the player's health to decrease by 40-50% and drain very quickly for a varying amount of time, depending on the song. These notes do not appear on the Fucked difficulty in Retribution. These notes also appear in Counter Attack, however they last forever.
- These notes have two different Cause of Death messages:
- Shot in the head if the death is caused by the 50% damage the moment you press them.
- Bled out to death if the death was caused by the bleeding effect.
- These notes have two different Cause of Death messages:
- Health Drain: Throughout Counter Attack, the player's health will quickly drain. This drain is sped up by missing and failing to respond correctly to Mines and Warnings. This drain can quickly get out of hand. In No Escape, health drain is also present, which doesn't seem like much but considering the very low health gain for that song can easily kill the player. Also, in Life or Death, the player's health will very slowly drain.
- Yakob Pistol: Throughout Non-Yakob Yakob has a bullet meter which shows how many bullets Yakob has loaded since it shoots Boyfriend throughout the song when gunshots are heard. It is on the left corner below Yakob and ranges from 1-4. Usually a higher bullet meter means Yakob will shoot the player that many times in a row (or that many times minus one.) In order to dodge the gunshots, the player must press the space bar just before Yakob hits a warning note and shoots Boyfriend. Failing to dodge will instantly kill the player.
- The cause of death message for this mechanic will be Shot with a Yakob Pistol.
- Notifications: Throughout No Escape, notifications will appear with the following messages:

- Health Bar Slicing: Throughout Slash n Slice and Killing Spree, Felix will chop off pieces of the health bar. if the player's icon goes into a chopped off piece of the bar, they instantly die. The bits remain gone for the rest of the week. If played through Freeplay, the health bar bits chopped off during Slash n Slice will be automatically chopped off at the beginning of the song. This ends with 40% chopped off during Slash n Slice and 90% during Killing Spree.
- Bullets: Throughout Killing Spree, Felix will cock his gun and a big arrow will appear on the player's HUD. The player must hold down the actual arrow key that corresponds to the arrow on-screen and then press Space before 2 beats have passed since the arrow appeared.
- Cause of Death Messages: On the GAME OVER screen, a Cause of Death message will appear corresponding to how the player died.
- If Corrupt or Felix was the antagonist and the player died through missing notes or a mechanic that does not have a unique COD message listed, it will be Murdered in cold blood.
