Henry Stickmin is the protagonist of the Henry Stickmin Collection. He starts out as a simple thief, but after a prison escape and a diamond heist, he goes on journeys that take him all over the place. He's the opponent of week 1, and the opponent of the freeplay songs Crossed and Chase.

Appearance[]

Henry, like all other characters in his games series, is a humanoid stick figure with a round white head, simple black lines for his torso, arms and legs, white hands, and eyebrows that float above his head. He also wears brown shoes.

In Crossed, Henry appears as he did in Crossing the Pit: a very simply drawn stick figure with no facial features, and no hands or feet. His mic is white and also very simply drawn.

In Chase, Henry has his cybernetic appearance from Completing the Mission, where his spine and left arm are metallic, forming a jetpack and tools like a blade and a minigun. His alternate poses show him glitching out with a bit of electricity surrounding him.

Personality[]

Henry is a silent character who prefers showing over telling, and instances of him speaking are rare. He's typically shown as greedy, reckless, and selfish. He's also equal amounts lucky and unlucky, evident through some of the more silly choices you can make throughout the series.

Most of his behavior is dependent on the choices of the player. Certain paths portray him as selfless and willing to help others, while others amplify his selfishness and greediness, using others simply for his own benefit.

Trivia[]

  • Henry's voice in Crossed is Snake Vox from Medly, which used to be his main voice in earlier versions of the mod.[1]
  • Henry's week is named "A Free Man," based on the ending of the same name from Completing the Mission.
  • An unused dialogue track for Cyborg Henry exists in the files, which was apparently just made as an extra in case freeplay songs ever got dialogue.
  • An unused sprite sheet of an angry Henry exists in the mods files. This would've been used for the remake of Tickets, Please before it got replaced by Vault Smash as the last song of Henry's week.
    • If Henry is the playable character for the Tickets, Please remake, this sprite sheet could still be used.
    • The left, right and down poses are references to the SMASH fail in the Jewel Baron path in Completing the Mission
  • It's 50/50 on whether Henry will be an opponent for the base game or not.[2]
  • Despite speculation that Henry and the protagonist of Crossing the Pit are different characters, the author comments of the original Breaking the Bank confirm that these two are the same character.[3]
  • Henry knows and is friends with the versions of him from other mods.
  • This mod's version of Cyborg Henry likes to make out with Evil Impostor's Cyborg Henry. Absolutely true. Check their wiki if you don't believe me.

Charles Calvin[]

Charles Calvin is the deuteragonist of the Henry Stickmin series. He's a helicopter pilot working for the government, and is a fan favorite for being a lovable guy with some great plans. He's the opponent of week 2.

Appearance[]

Charles looks very similar to Henry, except his shoes are red and he's always seen wearing his signature red headset. In Valiant Hero, he's piloting his iconic military helicopter.

Personality[]

Charles is trustworthy, friendly and loyal to whoever he's allies with. He's very noble, being one of the only main characters to stay on the good side regardless of the path chosen. He's also optimistic and calm, always looking at the bright side and keeping his cool in the face of danger. His helicopter skills are also very impressive.

Charles can also be pretty silly or even a bit dim-witted. He tends to get into accidents, and manages to fail in pretty hilarious fashion to help Henry, ranging from following Henry's directions and accidentally killing him, to using tools that backfire immediately, to the infamous instances of him crashing his helicopter.

Charles has the greatest plans.

Trivia[]

  • Charles is possibly the only instance of a modded character using a microphone built into a headset.
  • The entirety of the song Heavily Armed is made with the melody of "Seven Nation Army."
    • In mod canon, "Seven Nation Army" is Charles' favorite song. [4]
  • Valiant Hero references the tune from the ending of the same name in Completing the Mission.
    • It was originally titled The Greatest Plan, but was changed to not confuse it with Vs. Impostor's Greatest Plan.
    • Valiant Hero is also the name of Charles' week in story mode.

Ellie Rose[]

Ellie Rose is the tritagonist of the Henry Stickmin series. She's a criminal with an unknown past Henry can encounter and/or help escape during Fleeing the Complex. She's the opponent of week 3: Red Headed Outlaw.

Appearance[]

Ellie has short red hair, black eyebrows, red lipstick, and her shoes are cream colored. She's also holding a knife.

Personality[]

Ellie is serious and straightforward. She's very loyal to whoever she teams up with, but she's also very formidable on her own. This loyalty can also work against Ellie, especially when she's supporting Henry's with one of his sillier choices. Ellie also seems to love action, as she has no issues with jumping back into heists right after escaping prison. She may be more logical and aware compared to Henry and Charles, but this doesn't stop her from being equally as silly sometimes.

Trivia[]

  • Although Ellie is skilled with knife handling in this mod, she's shown using a knife only once during the entirety of the Henry Stickmin Collection, during the None fail right before the Pardoned Pals/Toppat Recruits endings in Completing the Mission.
    • The knife used there isn't the same as the one she holds in the mod, as the blade's shape and the color of the handle are not the same.
  • Memelord opens with the role reveal sound effect from Among Us.
  • 34 is largely based on RetroFuture Nasty by Kevin MacLeod.
    • Ellie's dialogue prior to the song implies that the song exists in-universe and that she knows about it.
  • Megalopsychia was originally going to be called Ell-MAO, but was changed after RenRenNumberTen saw a Youtube comment that gave him the idea.[5]
  • The name of Ellie's week, Red Headed Outlaw, is based on the song of the same name that plays during the end of Convict Allies. It's also the song Megalopsychia is based on.
    • Interestingly, she's never actually referred to as such in the original game.
    • Red Headed Outlaw is also the name of a hat in Among Us based on Ellie's hair.
  • B-Sides Ellie exists. She's also a Twitch streamer, much to the horror of VinceS.

Dave Panpa[]

Dave Panpa is a minor character in the Henry Stickmin series. He's a former police officer who's inadvertently responsible for Henry's initial escape from prison, and thus the entire story of the Henry Stickmin Collection. He's the opponent of week 4.

Appearance[]

Dave wears his security guard uniform from Stealing the Diamond, fit with dark grey shoes & a slightly worn dark grey hat that says "Security" on it.

The upcoming Good Job will feature Dave's appearance as a police officer from Escaping the Prison, fit with light grey shoes and a blue police hat.

Personality[]

Dave is usually nervous and uncertain. He tends to lack confidence in dangerous situations, like in Toppat Civil Warfare where he had to convince himself to attack a security guard, or in Stealing the Diamond where he ran away from a potential confrontation with Henry. He has joined in fights though, so he can be confident. Dave is also a fair amount negligent, not bothering to check the package led to Henry escaping prison and everything after that. Although he's eager to do the best he can, this tends to backfire.

Trivia[]

  • Dave's vocals are actually Henry's vocals run through a female voice filter.[6]
    • When sampling lines, VinceS felt the vocals sounded more like Dave when run through the filter compared to on their own.
  • Dave is the only character in the mod with an AYY pose that doesn't appear in any of his songs
  • It's likely that the metal claw that kidnaps Dave at the end of Negligence belongs to the Toppat Clan, and that this is the moment he was captured and imprisoned by them, like in the original game.
    • This is also supported by a teaser from SpiderThiago's twitter of Dave in a cell on the Toppat's airship.[7]
  • According to SpiderThiago, the upcoming Good Job happens in an alternate timeline where Dave actually checked the package that would've led to Henry's escape, meaning he never got fired.

B-Sides Henry[]

B-Sides Henry is a version of Henry based on the B-Sides mod. He is the opponent for the B-Sides remix of Break In.

Appearance[]

B-Sides Henry appears mostly the same as normal Henry, except he wears blue fingerless gloves, blue shoes with silver heels and a gold design on the front, a snazzy pair of sunglasses, and what appears to be a blue scarf or bandanna around his neck.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike Henry, B-Sides Henry is not a silent character.
  • He's a self-proclaimed partygoer who tries to get with women, except he's just really bad at it.
  • His sense of humor is forever stuck in 2016.

B-Sides Charles[]

B-Sides Charles is the B-Sides variant of Charles. While Charles is calm and collected, B-side Charles is an unstable person prone to going insane and having violent outbursts. He is the opponent in the B-side remix of Heavily Armed.

Appearance[]

B-Sides Charles wears a bright green headset with a gold-colored mic and bright green shoes, as well as a light green bandana. He carries a gold-colored machine gun in hand one. When he goes insane, his eyes become white circles, and his teeth become sharp.

Trivia[]

  • B-Sides Charles was once affiliated with the military like normal Charles, but his time there ended up giving him vivid PTSD and developing mental illnesses, resulting in the instability seen in the mod.
    • VinceS has stated that his life is "basically completely ruined."
  • The gun Charles is holding belongs to B-Sides Pico. Charles stole it.
  • Charles has four therapy cats.

Boyfriend[]

Boyfriend is the main protagonist of Friday Night Funkin' and the playable character for Vs. Henry Stickmin, taking on any and all stick people because he's bored or something.

Appearance[]

Boyfriend appears how he always does: wearing a white shirt with a red prohibition sign, blue pants, red shoes and hat, having bright cyan hair and his trusty mic on hand.

In Crossed, Boyfriend is a white stick figure with a blue outline, and he only has his hat & hair and his pants. His mic is also very simple in design.

B-Sides Boyfriend[]

B-Sides Boyfriend is the version of Boyfriend from the B-Sides mod. He's the playable character for the B-Sides remixes of Break In and Heavily Armed.

Appearance[]

B-Sides Boyfriend is a male human with pink hair. He is wearing a purple cap with a red brim, a golden earring, a purple shirt with a white jacket with a prohibition sign on the left collar, red pants, and purple Soap shoes.

Reginald Copperbottom[]

Reginald Copperbottom is one of the main antagonists in the Henry Stickmin series. He is the current leader of the Toppat Clan, a criminal organization with a penchant for stylish headwear. Reginald will have a full week in the future.

Appearance[]

Reginald wears two top hats, the bottom one a lighter shade of grey and the other a darker shade of grey. He wears a gold chain shaped like a dollar sign around his neck, black gloves, grey shoes, and he has a brown mustache that curls up. He's also holding a revolver and a gold mic.

Personality[]

Reginald is a bit of a coward. He's often dependent on others when he wants his way or is in danger, and even when he's alone, he instead relies on opportunity and betrayal rather than direct confrontation and a fight. He's also impatient and often shown to not trust people.

Reginald cares deeply for the Toppat Clan. He's shown multiple times that he'll do what he can to ensure the best for the Clan.

  • Reginald's old voice is an edited version of him saying "Nyeh" in Infiltrating the Airship.[9]
  • Various characters can be seen bopping in the background for Reginald's week, most of them members of the Toppat clan:

Realistic Henry[]

Realistic Henry is a creepy realistic version of Henry Stickmin who appears in If HENRY STICKMIN was realistic, made by Youtuber merrygoat. In this mod, he's a separate entity as well as Henry's biggest fan, constantly watching him and stalking him out of pure fanaticism. He is a main antagonist of sorts for the mod, following Boyfriend throughout his journey and controlling what happens during it.

Appearance[]

Realistic Henry looks like Henry if he looked more, well...realistic. He has ears, his teeth is slightly yellow, and his spine & limbs are more skeletal, with joints and a vertebrae visible. His eyes are circular with black pupils, and the veins at the edge of his eyes are exposed, making them look almost bloodshot. His shoes are a reddish brown, and the top half of his mic is busted.

Trivia[]

  • Real Henry is in fact doing the Mr. Beast pose in his artwork.
  • Real Henry is the only one of his kind. There aren't "realistic" versions of any other characters.
  • He has never physically met Henry, nor does he ever intend to.
  • If Henry ever died, Real Henry would take his place without anyone ever knowing because he feels he should be Henry.
  • According to Spider Thiago, not only is his power level "over infinity," but he is more powerful than any of the Shaggy's.
    • When asked about his abilities, VinceS responded with a very simple "everything."
  • Real Henry didn't do anything to make himself look like Henry. The fact he does is purely a coincidence.
  • His teeth are yellow because he thinks yellow is the natural color of a person's teeth, so he doesn't brush his own.
    • The last time he brushed his teeth was 200 years ago.
  • His regular diet consists of human souls and burgers.
  • He can't have kids. No one knows why.
  • He's lazy.

Right Hand Man[]

The Right Hand Man (or RHM) is a major antagonist in the Henry Stickmin series. As the name implies, he is the right hand man of Reginald Copperbottom. He will be an opponent for an upcoming week.

Appearance[]

The Right Hand Man wears a large black top hat, black shoes, and his eyebrows and mustache are both a natural shade of orange.

Personality[]

Rarely does the Right Hand Man shown emotion in the same way anyone else would, but in most cases, he's serious and confident. This doesn't stop him from showing some emotion on rare occasions, but it's usually something minor like disbelief.

The Right Hand Man's defining trait is his unwavering loyalty to the Toppat Clan. He's routinely gotten into conflict to protect the Clan or Reginald, and was even able to resist Henry reprogramming him as a cyborg out of sheer loyalty. The Right Hand Man also has an equally unwavering loyalty to Reginald specifically, not just as a leader, but as a person too.

Trivia[]

  • While it won't be used, RHM's legacy vocals would've come from Delay Lama.[10]
  • The title of RHM's upcoming song, Fidus Achates, roughly translates in Latin to 'loyal companion.' Given who RHM is, this title makes perfect sense.
  • According to VinceS, the Right Hand Man will defy all sense & logic and NOT hold a mic in his right hand.

Felix White[]

Felix White is an upcoming character for Vs. Henry Stickmin. As a parody of Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney franchise, he's a defense attorney who can help Henry during Escaping the Prison. More info about his role in this mod will be coming soon.

Appearance[]

The one thing that distinguishes Felix from Henry is his black hair, which spikes at the front and mostly the back. He also wears navy blue shoes. He's usually standing behind a desk.

Trivia[]

  • Felix's vocals will come from Phoenix Wright's voice samples from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, making him the only Henry Stickmin character whose vocals are not taken from the series in some form.
  • Felix's name used to be Phoenix Wright in the original Newgrounds version of Escaping the Prison, but it was changed to Felix White in "The Henry Stickmin Collection" for copyright reasons.

Mr. Skeppson[]

Mr. Skeppson is an upcoming original character for Vs. Henry Stickmin. Though he may appear to be an Impostor, he's actually a gentleman who works for the Toppat Clan. More info about him will be coming soon.

Appearance[]

Mr. Skeppson is a purple bean-shaped astronaut with floating hands. He wears a large grey top hat that is partially chipped around one upper edge.

Trivia[]

  • Mr. Skeppson will not share the same pizzicato vocals used in Vs. Impostor and similar mods with Impostors, and will instead have vocals provided by VinceS with some sound editing.
    • The reason for the choice of vocals is because VinceS felt the pizzicato vocals were overused, as well as the fact that the mod is doing away with single sample voices, something fans took issue with in earlier versions.
  • Mr. Skeppson is a musician in his free time.
  • He hates reggaeton.
  • He has a wife named Sandra and one son.
  • He used to dream of being the host of a game show when he was a kid.
  • He likes to collect coins from all over the world.
  • He's from Bel Air, California.
  • He has a Twitter account with only 8 followers, inactive as of April 2022.
    • He never figured out how to use Twitter and gave up on the app, hence the inactivity.
  • Mr. Skeppson once hacked into the Stickmin Dev Team's Twitter for a QnA, where he revealed the following.
    • He was offered his position in the Toppat Clan due to prior heists he had gone on for cash, which caught the clan's attention.[11]
    • He hasn't met Henry or Ellie, and isn't fond of Charles due to his association with the government.[12]
    • He wears his purple suit because purple's his favorite color and the suit is what the Toppat Clan had. He also has plenty of spares.[13]
    • He has his own right hand man named LeRoy. LeRoy's a cyan crewmate who wears attire similar to the Right Hand Man.[14]
    • He has crossed paths once or twice with Black from Vs. Impostor, and would prefer not to ever again. Black creeps him out.[15]
      • He hasn't met anyone else from that mod.
    • He likes to watch Chefogus' cooking show.[16]
    • He can transform into a monster form of himself. He barely uses it, only saving it for emergencies. Foreshadowing[17]
    • He is a pro bowler.[18]

Dmitri Johannes Petrov[]

Dmitri Johannes Petrov is an upcoming character for Vs. Henry Stickmin. He's the warden of the prison complex known as the Wall, and the reason for Henry's imprisonment during Fleeing the Complex. More info about his role in this mod will be coming soon.

Appearance[]

Dmitri has dark grey facial hair in the form of a goatee and a fairly bushy mustache, not to mention his eyebrows. He also wears light black shoes.

Trivia[]

  • Most of the voice clips sampled for Dmitri's vocals weren't actually from Dmitri himself, but from his right hand man Grigori.
    • There's a ten second clip of Grigori speaking in the Henry Stickmin Collection with absolutely no background noise, and since his voice in that game is practically identical to Dmitri's, VinceS decided to capitalize on it.

Mr. Macbeth[]

Mr. Macbeth is an upcoming character for Vs. Henry Stickmin. He is the Toppat Clan's train conductor, appearing as an antagonist in Little Nest Egg with some advanced weaponry in case intruders come knocking. He will be the opponent for the remake of Tickets, Please.

Appearance[]

Mr. Macbeth wears a dark green top hat with a crimson stripe, on which the Toppat Clan insignia is sewn. He also has three wrinkles on his forehead, a sign of age. He holds a red and black assault rifle.

Kity-Chan[]

Kity-Chan is an upcoming "joke" character for Vs. Henry Stickmin. She is the OC of a Youtube account who is a fan of Vs. Henry Stickmin, and she may or may not be a furry. More info will come out about her soon.

Appearance[]

Kity-Chan is a somewhat-crudely drawn stick figure with long hair, goggles around her forehead, and an earpiece in her right ear. She has what seems be animal ears near the top of her head, and a tail. She holds what looks like a pistol in her right hand.

Trivia[]

  • Kity-Chan's OC was initially made as a fan concept for if she appeared in V4.0. This was noticed by VinceS, who made the song Furry Frenzy for her just for fun.[19]
    • While she wasn't initially intended to appear in V4.0 at the time of the song's creation, it has since been implied by SpiderThiago that she will.[20]

There currently isn't any information about this character, though it is implied that they will be a joke character.[21]
