QT Mod is a mod developed by Hazardous24 and CountNightshade. It has four new characters, eight new songs (four for story mode, two for Freeplay, one song used in the older version of the mod and a secret song).
Story
While QT was listening to music one day, Boyfriend and Girlfriend appeared to investigate the music coming from the alleyway. Curious enough, she asks if Boyfriend wants to sing with her. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

“Oh hey cutie!”― QT, Carefree
QT Unit #6,[10] or just QT for short, looks like a human girl, but she is actually a robot. In this mod she invites Boyfriend to sing along.
QT was created by a man named Gabriel[6], shown in this Twitter post. She was created for a reason for her creation, but it is unknown. [11] She has been though a lot and honestly she just wants to live a semi normal life like everyone else does (what she has been thorough is unknown).[11]
While KB (the robot hidden in her) is a parasite connected to QT's body, they have a close relationship that is like an overprotective older brother and a younger sister (post-Cessation).[12][13]
Appearance
QT is a robot that looks like a fair-skinned young girl, with brown hair with blonde streaks. She wears a pink shirt, with a white winking skull on it, ending off with a blue bottom, and purple sleeves which cover her hands. She also wears a white pleated skirt, with blue and white striped socks, one being rolled down a bit, and some black Mary Janes. In the title screen and on Count Nightshade’s works, her eyes are magenta with a white heart-shaped pupil.
Personality
QT doesn't associate things as being childish and is actually really smart, especially emotionally. Even though she is perceived as childish, she is actually pretty mature, just curious and bubbly lively.[14][15]
Trivia
- QT is a shorter version of saying Cutie.
- Despite KB still being exposed, QT is doing fine in Cessation. It means both of them can be active at the same time.[16]
- However, she shuts down again during KB's solo.
- According to Count Nightshade, QT was originally going to be a dead girl and KB was using her as a puppet to lure in victims. [17]
- QT and KB can communicate with each other non-verbally, but they can't read each other's minds nor can they feel each other's pain.[18]

KB
“Nothing personal kid”― KillerByte, Censory-Overload
KillerByte,[30] or KB for short, is the robot hidden inside QT. He is quite aggressive in the main week and in Termination, but he is much more calm in Cessation.
He is a parasite connected to QT's body and he is protective of her. However, his reasons for protecting QT differ depending on when. If it's post-Cessation, then it's because he cares about QT. But before that he protected QT only because if he let QT die, he would have to find another host (and he doesn't want to get rid of a host which doesn't rot away).[31]
KB and QT have a close relationship that is like an overprotective older brother and a younger sister (post-Cessation).[12][13]
Appearance
KB[32] is a grey robot with red LED eyes (blue in Cessation), which move mechanically.[33] He also has two extra hands, one with a sawblade and one with a mechanical claw. His spine/tail is connected to QT’s back by a blood-extracting needle with four claws.[34] In the middle of one of the secret free play song, Termination, KB’s saw arm becomes bloody red during his poses.
Personality
KB is aggressive to mostly anyone, but as he grew more emotionally attached to QT, this aggression slowly started to fade (however it would come back to anybody who would upset QT, however that may be). And after a certain event, he is only aggressive to other terrible people.[35]
Trivia
- KB originally meant "KillerBot", but has since been changed to "KillerByte". However this is not his true name, it is just a nickname given to him by some scientists.[36]
- KB is a parasite, thus he needs a host to survive.
- However, if the blue-eyed KB (as seen in Cessation) was separated from his current host, he would rather just let himself die rather than taking over another person.[37]
- KB was created by Yama (a character who would appear in Hazardous24's upcoming mod, Inhuman).[28]
- KB feels less pain than a normal human does. He feels approximately only 40% of pain compared to a human.[38]

Amelia
Amelia is the leader of Brutality Labs [46] who will briefly appear during certain segments of the hidden song, Interlope.
Appearance
Amelia looks like a pale-skinned and older, albeit creepy, woman. She has long, dark brown (or black) and messy hair, and glowing red irises in her eyes with tiny white Xs as pupils. She wears a white shirt with a dark purple suit over it. Under her suit is a yellow tie with green gear-like patterns on it. No other info has been shown on what she wears on her lower half.
In her old design, Amelia's hair was thicker, yet smoother. The red irises in her eyes were taller as the X pupils were black instead of white. Her suit was dark grey as her shirt was a light black, and her tie was red with darker red gear patterns on it.
Personality
Before leadership, she was a hardworking worker. However, she has a tendency to overreact to certain situations and rapidly escalate things even when unneccesary. After leadership, she became far more controling for reasons currently unknown.[47]
Trivia
- Amelia currently has no icon in Interlope, neither does Ashley.
- Amelia never opens her eyes. It is said that if people see her eyes, they would go mad.[48]
- Unlike the other scientists in Brutality Labs who have white labcoats, Amelia has a purple one due to being leader.[51]
- Amelia rarely wears it.

Ashley is a scientist working for Brutality Labs. She is the singer of Interlope.[54][55]
Appearance
Ashley has blue eyes and blonde hair, wearing a blue headband.[53] When she was hired, she wore a white long-sleeved button shirt with a blue tie and a black skirt that reaches to her knees. When she keeps working on Brutality Labs and becomes less cheerful, she wears black pants instead of the skirt. After an unknown time after Amelia's death, she wears her deceased boss’ tattered purpe labcoat, short lavender skirt, and yellow tie. She also inherits her eye powers due to Cinder's possession[49], resulting in her eyes changing from blue to red eyes with a white cross on her iris.
Personality
Ashley seemed to be cheerful, if the HorrorSecret file is in any indication. However, as she keeps working for the laboratory, she became less cheerful and more depressed. She rarely raises her voice, stutters a lot, and tends to keep to herself.[44] However, she admires Amelia, so much so to the point where Hazardous claims that it’s a ‘little too much if you ask me’. This admiration persists even after her death.[44]

- Ashley does not have an icon in Interlope, neither does Amelia.
- Ashley’s name appears in the HorrorSecret files that were added in version 1.1, which was before Interlope was added.

- Despite being blonde, Ashley's icon in Hazardous24's upcoming mod Inhuman is teal.
- Ashley is used to people dying, but not the sight of corpses.[57]

Gameplay Mechanics - Sawblades, HUD Manipulation and Effects
- In version 2.0 - 2.2, the player loses health during an opponent's turn in every song (Hard or Harder).
- In version 2.0 - 2.2, damage notes appear in every song (Hard or Harder). Hitting these notes deals damage to the player.
- During the beginning parts of Censory-Overload, there will be smoke particles on the bottom left and right. This might be used to distract the players.
- During Termination, KB will constantly try to end the player by attacking them with sawblades. If the song was played on version 2.0 - 2.2, failure to dodge the sawblades will increase minimum health, dealing a significant amount of damage and stun the player temporarily.[59] Furthermore there are points in the song where the player would encounter double sawblades (with special warning sign) in these versions.
- However, if Termination is played on version 1.0 - 1.2 (or Termination (Classic) on version 2.0 - 2.2), failure to dodge these sawblades will result in instant death.
- At the beginning of Termination, the background TVs will warn the player about the sawblades and to press SPACE to dodge them.
- Also, in Termination, KB will constantly use pincers to move around the note bars.
- At the end of Termination, the note bar will slowly disappear after each held note.
- In Cessation preceding KB's 1st solo, the note bar will become wavy. This also eventually happens in Censory-Overload.
Trivia (General)
- According to the logs, Termination is not canon and happens in another timeline and Cessation happens in the future.
- It has been confirmed that Cessation is canon by Hazard24. [60]
- In story mode, Termination is renamed to Terminate.
- In Terminate, the chart skips to the part with excessive double notes.
- Also in Terminate, one of the instruments is missing.
- Leitmotifs of Censory-Overload can be heard in Careless.
- This is further emphasized, as if one speeds up Careless by 175%, it resembles Censory-Overload, but replaced with QT's vocals.
- During Termination and Censory-Overload, the background turns into a Blue Screen of Death which will scare Girlfriend.
- The Blue Screen of Death has a message at the bottom-left saying “oh shit”. This message can’t be seen due to the floor being shaded.
- Similarly, in the TV_V4 and TV_V5 Sprite sheets there is an Among Us joke not visible in regular gameplay.

- Mostly out of sprites were used by a bitmap images while imported in qt.fla flash file. The sprites are images for unknown reasons.
- Tutorial was changed, adding sawblades (And the previously unused double one), pincers and mod charts.
- To unlock the secret song, Interlope, beat Cessation. Afterwards, the player must head to the Freeplay menu, and keep pressing DOWN until they see the selection move below Cessation. Then, they must keep scrolling down until Interlope appears. The player will know once the menu music begins to fade and the background starts turning black.
- Contrary to the popular belief, it is Ashley (a character who would appear in Hazardous24's upcoming mod, Inhuman) who sings in Interlope, not Amelia.[54][55]
- If the player tries to access Interlope through the Debug menu, the game will jumpscare the player with a screen displaying the word "CHEATER" with a red wall of text behind it. The game will then close.
- In the first log (HorrorSecret01.png, which can be found in the gallery), the binary code in the bottom left reads, "Who was I?"
- Every time the player opens Cessation, one of the secret logs will briefly flash on screen.
- Due to the lore rewrite,[63] most of the HorrorSecret files are now outdated.[64]
