Minus Girlfriend is a playable protagonist in Friday Night Lullaby Minus. She is playable in Safety Lullaby and Left Unchecked.
Appearance[]
Minus Girlfriend in this mod wears a wholly different outfit from her original. She attains her classic crimson red skin, fishnets, shoes, and black innerwear with the minus. She wears a short glossy black coat with pointy collars. She wears the red beanie like the original and has black gloves.

- Her concept art shows her wearing a different coat with yellow accents, in the final mod however, it lacks the accents and the coat is more open and she wears gloves.

Minus Hypno is the minus variant of Hypno and the first opponent of the mod. He is anything but a Hypno given his bulky physique and later on, bloody transformation.
Appearance[]
Minus Hypno is a minus version of Hypno where unlike his original and small counterpart, he becomes larger and even more buffed, and possessing yellow fur. He now possesses large arms and hands, small legs, and hooves, covered in blood. His neck fur is now yellow and he wears a large rag below it, which is olive green with dark red and white striped edges. His face is that of his icon but his mouth is noticeably sealed shut with bloody lines around where the inside of the mouth should be. Despite his mouth being sealed however, he is capable of speaking and singing. He also has a small psychic energy face beside him that holds his pendulum.
In his Left Unchecked form, he becomes a bulky, floating, and bloody monster as his muscles, bones, and beating heart are exposed from the bottom up of his body. His rag is torn with a portion of his spine exposed. His upper body has the remaining yellow fur he had left. His head is like the original Left Unchecked Hypno, held on with veins, but now is seen having his upper spine exposed, and his mouth filled with small sharp teeth in a toothy grin. His left arm lacks a hand and ends in a sharp bony end while his right arm has his hand emanating his psychic energy that keeps him alive and afloat.

- Every time Minus Hypno uses Psyshock, he pounds his large hand on the ground.
- Minus Hypno's mouth is noticeably shut, despite this, he is still capable of speaking.
- In Left Unchecked, every time Hypno moves, the camera pans quickly to get his head movements.
- His bulky body is also seen behind him as a husk, as Hypno emerged from it as a creature of exposed muscle and bone, held only by psychic energy.

Minus Gold is the minus variant of Gold, and the second opponent of the mod. Rather than a dead husk, he is now a fleshy ghost with a maw on his torso.
Appearance[]
Minus Gold is a minus version of Gold where he still appears as an empty husk with mixed elements of a ghost. He lacks arms like his original but his sleeves are longer and show nothing underneath them. He lacks a waist and is replaced with a trailing ghostly end. His head is like his icon but he noticeably cries out blood. His most notable feature is his torso where he has a mouth filled with sharp teeth and a long red tongue that he uses to communicate. Like the original Gold, he has line boil.

Minus MissingNo. is the minus variant of MissingNo., and the third opponent of the mod. Instead of a glitch, its an abomination of all three main glitches that make the original MissingNo. flying above the waters of Cinnabar Island.
Appearance[]
Minus MissingNo. is a minus version of MissingNo. where instead of a game glitch, it transforms into a flying glitching amalgamation with its main and true body, the Ghost, huddled inside a Kabutops skull which is uses as chest armor, its scythes as limbs, and an Aerodactyl skull as its helmet and wings on its back. The wings have red with blue glitches and are connected to the Aerodactyl's bony 4th finger. Fragments of its original appearance surround its body, all squiggly and separated from each other.

- Minus MissingNo. undergoes a transformation during the start of Missingno where it emerges from its original appearance/icon into its current form.
- This makes Minus MissingNo. the first minus character to transform from its icon or original appearance into something new.
- In its left pose, it turns yellow and red like its lose icon from the original Lullaby.
- Its original song is remixed in the mod as noted by the constant bell and different pitches and tones.

Gameplay Mechanics - Pendulum, Psyshock, Celebi, Unowns, Strum Glitching, Pussy Mode, Hell Mode[]
During Left Unchecked, Safety Lullaby and Monochrome (Hell Mode), Hypno's Pendulum will swing throughout the entirety of the song. You must press the spacebar with each time the pendulum is at it's lowest point (the easiest method is hitting spacebar to the beat). If you do not keep up with the pendulum, the screen will slowly get redder and the humming noise in the background will become louder until GF (BF in Monochrome) becomes completely hypnotized. Continuing to press spacebar with the right timing can reverse this effect. In addition to this, Hypno will regularly distract you by using Psyshock, creating a bright flash of red light with a loud sound effect. Psyshock will greatly increase the on-screen static and can even kill you if you have not fought the hypnotism enough. The pendulum is on Hypno's left hand in Safety Lullaby, and on the foreground in every other appearances.
During Monochrome and Missingno (Hell Mode), sometimes the screen will go red, with Unowns and an empty text box appearing. You will need to type out whatever the Unown text translates to before the timer runs out or Boyfriend will be instantly blueballed. Previously, in Missingno (Hell Mode), the Unowns would only spell out "MISSINGNO" once. This has been changed in Version 1.1.0, where it now has more phrases, plus it occurring throughout the song instead of once, sometimes going as far as to appear during your turn, rendering a FC impossible as it appears as soon as your first note appears. The timer's length in beats is:
- 16 (most of the time)
- 6 (late in Monochrome, two codes are given to you in one turn)
- 8 (a few times in MissingNo)
- 32 (long question mark code in MissingNo)
During Monochrome, Celebi will appear 3 times. Whenever Celebi appears, it will use Perish Song, decreasing the player's minimum health. The first use drops the max health to 66%, the second to 50% and the third to 40%.
During Monochrome, Gold will scream, there's a chance that the screen will be covered by a jumpscare which obscures everything.
During Missingno, your strums teleport around the screen randomly every time MissingNo. makes a low droning noise. The game will switch between upscroll and downscroll depending on where the strums shift to. MissingNo.'s notes and strums will also become invisible to make room for the mechanic. The strums' left-to-right order always remains the same. Previously, in Hell Mode, your notes will also tilt at random angles. In version 1.1.0, the tilting is removed, but the gameplay will become a mixture of upscroll and downscroll regardless of where your strums end up (to the point where the arrows will use upscroll and downscroll at the same time), and if the mod is played in windowed mode, the game window will teleport too.
There is a mode called Pussy Mode, which removes every mechanic except for Gold's jumpscare during Monochrome. (It also certifies you as a pussy.)
There's another mode, called Hell Mode, which adds more mechanics to songs such as Monochrome and Missingno. and makes them much harder. (It also certifies you as a gamer.)
