Mid-Fight Masses, also called by its full name Sarvente's Mid-Fight Masses, was a Friday Night Funkin' mod that adds in two weeks with 5 songs in total, cutscenes, and various other features, such as a remix of the Tutorial. In this mod, Boyfriend and Girlfriend are trying to look for a bathroom but manage to stumble into a church. In the church, they end up rap battling the "nun," Sarvente.

Sarvente (Sar-vent-tay) is a "nun" at a church, where Boyfriend and Girlfriend walk in for the bathroom, and she asks them to join the church, in which Boyfriend and Girfriend decline the offer, and they end up battling.
Appearance
Sarvente wears a purple nun outfit, with 2 Pink crosses on the sides of her head. Her skin has 3 colors: Purple, White, and Pink. Her expression is passive and calm as she smiles.
When she is annoyed, she beings to sweat and her expression starts to look irritated. Her color contrast is also slightly darkened as well. In her animated idle pose, her right hand twitches even further.
In her demon form, she wears a leotard, has horns, and large purple and pink wings which come down from her hat.
Personality
Sarvente is shown to have an enthusiastic, friendly, and calm personality as shown in Parish during her conversation with Ruv on the phone and welcoming Boyfriend and Girlfriend to the church at the start. However, she also shows annoyance after she was defeated by Boyfriend in the Parish level.
Biography
Early Life
It is unknown how Sarvente came into existence or if she had any biological family members or relatives.
Sarvente lived as a demon child for centuries not being able to age due to unfulfilled childhoods. These unfulfilled childhoods did not allow her body and mindset to adapt to the concept of growing up which is how she gained immortal-like abilities. Despite having knowledge, she was still childish. Coincidentally, Sarvente met Ruv as a child and they both became childhood friends. This was the time when she finally started aging because her only wish was fulfilled which was making a friend after waiting for centuries.
Sarvente noticed that Ruv had an eyepatch and decided to lend him one of her ribbons. Sarvente then made a promise to meet Ruv again so she gave him one of her ribbons. The ribbon would be Ruv's current eyepatch. When they both reached adulthood and met again, they do not remember each other and Ruv forgets who gave him the ribbon.[5]
Adulthood
Sarvente was rejected by God from entering into heaven. There is no official reason why she was rejected, but it can be inferred that she made one big mistake that she has done in her life to the point where it didn't matter how good and kind all of her actions were.[6] After experiencing that, she doesn't want anyone to experience what she went through so she will guide everyone to a better place.[7] Now Sarvente's purpose is to guide people to heaven, regardless if she was rejected by God. Sarvente is a devout believer that Heaven is a good place, even if she was dropped from heaven by God's rejection.[8]
She eventually found Ruv again years later hiding at the church after running away. Because Ruv and Sarvente do not remember each other due to him being chased all the time, their first time interacting started out rough. They even resorted to violence through fights and non-stop arguments, but they eventually grew closer after a few years due to Sarvente not showing any signs of betrayal against Ruv. Their friendship improves the longer they lived together.[9]
Sarvente sees good in Ruv and believes that he can go to heaven which is the primary reason why she does not show any signs of betrayal against him.[10]
Abilities
- Portal creation: Sarvente can summon a portal/gateway during Gospel as shown in the background of the Gospel level.
- Immortality: Sarvente has lived for centuries and does not have the need to consume food in order to function. It is unknown how she gained her immortality.
- Demon morphing: Sarvente has the ability to morph into a demon after beating Zavodila in Story Mode on hard or alt difficulty. Her demon form was strong enough to defeat Ruv to the point where he behaved.[11]
- Flight: Sarvente has the ability to fly as shown in the Gospel level.
- Superhuman strength: Sarvente has the ability to carry Ruv despite weighing bigger than her.
- Illusionary magic: Sarvente has the ability to conjure illusions. She made an illusionary copy of the church for Ruv to his aesthetic liking as a gift for mastering his own song, Zavodilla.[12]
- Object creation: Sarvente has the ability to summon and make money and needs using her powers.[13] However, there is a limit to her abilities. Depending on how big the objects she summons or how much she uses her power, she gets extremely fatigue.[14]
- Bulletproof durability: Sarvente does not get hurt by bullets. Instead, they could be ricochetted off.[15]
- Regenerative healing factors: Sarvente can regenerate easily and quickly from fatal disease. However, it takes a bit of time for her to heal from small colds and injuries.[16]

Ruvyzvat (R-oo-v-iz-vat)[65], Ruv (R-oo-v) for short, is a runaway criminal[66] and trusted friend of Sarvente's. He steps in when things get hairy in the 3rd song, Zavodila. A lot about him is shrouded in mystery, other than that, his singing is so powerful that it makes the church shake.
Appearance
Ruv has pale white skin, with grey stripes, and he wears a grey Ushanka with black stripes on the ear flaps, a black eye patch with an unknown symbol, a grey snow jacket, black pants, and black snow boots.
Personality
Ruv tends to be introverted and not interact with other people. The only person he likes to interact with is Sarvente only. Ruv will never leave Sarvente's side and will always be close towards her, they canonically cannot be separated.
Despite being shy around strangers, he seems to have a near-emotionless mindset, sociopathic tendencies, and extreme hostility against people he does not like or any stranger in general. If he wants to kill or hurt someone, he will not hesitate to do so.
Abilities
- Supernatural voice: Ruv has the ability to shake the church with his voice because his vocals are incredibly strong.[67]
- High-speed reflexes: Ruv has incredibly fast reflexes, mostly to avoid being touched by anyone that isn't Sarvente.[68]
- Immortality: The vow had completely stopped Ruv from aging making sure that he will always live up his deal with Lucifer.[69]
- So Sarvente and Ruv can live together forever, if either of them does not break the deal.
Biography
Early Life
Ruv was born in a poor environment without a normal childhood.[70] He also didn't have any friends or a family.[71] As a child, he had a very strong sense of justice and wanted to bring it to the world. He then eventually realize that people with higher ranks in society committed bigger crimes but could get away with it because of power.[72] Eventually he would murder people that were corrupt in an attempt to bring justice. People would often see him as a villain, even if he was doing the right thing.[73]
From here on out, Ruv's life revolved around bloodshed, and he had no humanity to lose for he had none in the first place. Eventually injustice took over his mindset and he did not care who he killed anymore. He later resolved into running off somewhere far for years until he stumbled upon a quiet church.[74]
Adulthood
The church is where Ruv met Sarvente for the first time. Ruv did not trust Sarvente at first and their interaction started off rough but as time passes by, Sarvente had shown no sign of betrayal and had expressed she sees good in Ruv despite knowing his criminal activity.[75]
For once, Ruv had finally understood what it was like to feel human, despite never smiling or expressing other emotions. Ruv having a life other that wasn't running away made him feel different. He did not want to lose this feeling of home so he swore to protect Sarvente for the rest of eternity.[76]

Selever is the half-demon non-canon son of Sarvente and Ruv. A troublemaker, that's for sure! He stars in the (late) April Fools update.
Appearance
Selever is a stick figure with white, messy hair and a ponytail. He has thin black horns and black wings(Inherited from Sarvente) and wears a rose-colored sweater, a black bowtie, a white undershirt, and high-heeled black boots.
Personality
As a typical male teenager, Selever is an uptight, hyperactive, disrespectful individual who does what he likes, makes inappropriate jokes, and does not care about the consequences of his actions. From his various note poses and his overuse of profanity, he does not take things seriously. According to dokkiedoodlez, he is like a "fuckboy" that treats everyone like they're his sexual partner ("side hoe").[125]
He does, however, have a good side despite having extremely chaotic behavior around strangers. After spending in isolation in the void with his sister, Rasazy, he takes care of her sometimes and comforts her when she gets upset. As a brotherly figure, he knows that he should not act weak around his sister and must protect her at all costs. Rasazy needs hope, and someone needs to tell her that everything will be alright.[126]
Biography
The Nothing World
In an alternative universe of the Mid-Fight Masses mod, Sarvente and Ruv had children, Selever being one of them while the other is his little sister, Rasazy.
Dokkiedoodlez, the artist and animator of the Mid-Fight Masses mod, has created a void called The Nothing World. The Nothing World is an empty, white void where Dokkiedoodlez's OCs are placed in there. She would then contemplate and decide each OC's fate whether they can exist in the canon universe, or be killed off by her.[127] Selever and Rasazy are the ones currently being decided along with the male version of Dokkiedoodlez's persona.
Selever's Life
Selever and Rasazy both woke up in a void called the Nothing World with only basic knowledge of themselves, their family connections, etc. As time passes by, they eventually learned about their powers and the canon universe. Unfortunately, Selever and Rasazy cannot enter the canon universe and cannot visit their parents physically, they can, however, watch over them.[128] It was a cruel life. In the meantime, all they could do is live in the nothing world, hoping that the canon world will welcome them someday.
In the meantime, all Selever and Rasazy could do is rely on Selever's power on jumping from one universe to another and try and find if they could physically meet their parents again. For now, all Selever and Rasazy can do is wait and hope in isolation and observe their parents from above.[129]

- Alternate Reality Creation: Selever can create his temporary parallel world for him and his sister to meet their parents.
- Portal Creation: Selever can create portals to access different alternative universes.

Reception
At its release on March 20, 2021, the mod received criticism due to its poor charting and Sarvente's idle animations. After the update, the charting of the mod is still receiving some criticism, especially when the input system does not react to the double notes. Double and triple notes will be fixed sometime in the future. There have also been slight improvements to Sarvente's idle pose animations. Dokki.doodlez claimed that she and her developers were rushed when recharting the mod which is why the inputs for the double and triple arrows are buggy. She recommends that the players must wait until the charting is fixed.
On April 30, 2021, 8:13am PST, Dokki.doodlez released an update to the mod that added Selever, a non canon child of Sarvente and Ruv, and one new song, Casanova. The update was first released as a Mediafire file due to GameBanana's sluggish decisions with updating and accepting mods along with their updates. After a few days with enough people playing the mod, the game has received more criticism than its initial release due to people misunderstanding the concept of the update's intentional bad charting as a late April Fool's Joke.
Trivia (General)
The Characters
- Sarvente and Ruv are not Countryhumans contrary to what some think. Similarities between them are purely coincidental. They are stickmen OCs with face paint.
- It is unknown how long Ruv and Sarvente met, it is most likely that they live with each too long to even count.
- The way Sarvente and Ruv play rock, paper, scissors is different. When one of them loses, they get punched in the face so they must dodge the impact as fast as possible to avoid impact. It is their way of having fun and training their reflexes.
- The score currently is 43/41. The winner and loser is currently unknown.
- Selever and Rasazy are non-canon to the mod despite appearing in it, because they reside in a void called the Nothing World.
- The Nothing World is a place created by Dokki.doodlez herself where she can place OCs and decide whether they should be canon or killed off.
- In a deleted drawing it's confirmed that Rasazy's voice is apparently 5x stronger than Ruv's which might explain the "FEAR HER" poster that was inferencing Rasazy.
- Sarvente's birthday is on March 23, Ruv's birthday is on March 25, Selever's birthday is on April 1, and Rasazy's birthday is on April 7.
The Church
- The church also has a huge greenhouse located at the back. It is full of many plants and beautiful flowers. It is also the place where Sarvente and Ruv usually socialize most of their time.
- The church does not have any wifi or internet connection at all. Instead, the church has a library where books centuries years old are kept, all of them either being the original copies or from the authors themselves.
- Not that many people would often visit the church anymore which is why not that many people visit Sarvente's church.
- There is a secret spot in the church which serves as Sarvente and Ruv's home.
- There is a washroom in the church.
- The Zavodila level is actually an illusion world set up by Sarvente as a gift for Ruv for his mastery of singing Zavodila.
- Sarvente was not able to afford the repairs, so she made an illusional copy of the church to the aesthetic of Ruv's liking. Ruv appreciates Sarvente's gift.
- This update originally served as an April Fool's joke.
- This lead to Dokki.doodlez putting in a cheeky retort to that, with the file named "charted by the devil", which can be seen in the gallery.
- The poster on the left side shows the developers of the mod in a different pose. The poster reads: "GET PRANKED."
- The developer in the middle appears to be Dokki.doodlez sticking up the middle finger on both hands with a grin, the developer on the right appears to be Kuroa_Anomal posing with both thumbs up while winking at the viewer, and the developer on the left appears to be electro_mike holding up a pair of gang signs while squinting.
- The poster on the right side is damaged, but not completely, with a different character. The poster reads: "FEAR ER"
- This poster most likely reads "FEAR HER", and it might inference Rasazy.
- Dokki.doodlez stated that Selever has purposefully messed up the files as an April Fool's joke.
Developers
- Dokki.doodlez first drew Sarvente and Ruv when she was either 9 or 10 years old.
- Dokki.doodlez loves both Sarvente and Ruv so much that she cannot choose between them.
- Dokki.doodlez finds drawing both Sarvente and Ruv not challenging. She claims that they are just stick figures with clothes on them.
- Dokki.doodlez allows other people to draw themselves with Sarvente and Ruv AS LONG AS IT IS NOT CONTROVERSIAL OR PROBLEMATIC!
- Dokki.doodlez allows people to ship others with Sarvente. SAME RULES APPLY!
- Dokki.doodlez does not like the fact that her characters are being sold as merchandise and marketing purposes.
- So it will be unlikely, if not impossible, for her to make merchandise of Sarvente and Ruv.
- Dokki.doodlez only allows small accessories in Roblox, such as Ruv's hat and Sarvente's clothes. Anything else is unacceptable.
- Dokki.doodlez is considering making Selever and Rasazy canon, but not at this moment.
- Dokki.doodlez has stated that her followers and any fan of her content should not take her Alternative universes of the Mid-Fight Masses mod seriously. They are just ideas written and recorded down for the sake of kicks-and-giggles.
- The only particular universe that is the closest of having a connection to the canon universe is the broken vow timeline.
- Dokki.doodlez is not and never comfortable with shipping Sarvente and Ruv with other popular mod characters or any modded character in general.
- This is because she is not closely affiliated with the creator of the mods and she finds it extremely weird to pair them up with strangers.
- Recently, Dokki.doodlez has received death threats and other threats on Twitter in regards to the Selever update.
- Dokki.doodlez has stated multiple times that the Selever update was meant to be a JOKE despite being uploaded at the last day of April.
- On May 10, 2021, Dokki.doodlez stated she will be less active in May 2021 due to heavy workload and health, she will do her very best to upload doodles from time-to-time.
- Although it is common sense, certain people chose to ignore the following: Do NOT ship nor make NSFW content of Selever and Rasazy with their parents or with each other, they're family member and incest content will not be tolerated.
- On May 18, 2021, 9:29 PM EST, Dokki.doodlez deactivated her Twitter account due to the constant spamming she is receiving and people invading her private life. For now, she will focus on her health and spend more time with people closer to her.
- On June 11, 2021, 4-5 PM EST, Dokki.doodlez had given an update on her Instagram post in terms of her inactivity. She informs her followers that she will be leaving the community, most likely the Friday Night Funkin' community, and wanted to address this after weeks of inactivity. Her intention of returning after weeks was to address this and state that she will no longer return.
- She also mentions that some people were impersonating her with fake accounts on Twitter, Tumblr, Tiktok (websites she doesn't use or she doesn't use anymore) when she was inactive these weeks.
- Despite addressing this, she mentions fans can continue liking the characters. She thanks everyone and hopes that she will see us someday.
- On July 25, 2021, 4 Days after The Date Week released, and Vs. Whitty was officially discontinued, Dokki.doodlez had given an update on her instagram post, saying that MFM was officially discontinued.
