Starecrown[]

Starecrown is the first dimensional anomaly that Boyfriend encounters during this mod as well as his self-proclaimed biggest fan that, despite his appearance, would never actually want to harm Boyfriend as he considers him his idol.
Appearance[]
Starecrown is a purple crown-shaped entity. His chin is triangular and he has pointy ears. Starecrown's bloodshot eyes are bulging out of his sockets, with a very chapped smile. He has a rhombus that replaces his third eye right below his crown. Starecrown has two yellow limbs which are connected together with his neck. His torso and lower body gets smaller as it ends with two lines which are his special sensors. Starecrown also wears a yellow, intricate crown on his head. The small, brown dots on his crown represents eyes.
In Staredown, Starecrown's skin becomes more saturated with his eyes turning bloodshot, and his upper forehead rhombus now has a black dot in it's center.
In Body Inversion, Starecrown's body becomes even more mangled. His lower jaw grows longer, causing it to hang on the right side of his body. His eyes grow significantly larger, and turn red. He grows spikes on his arms and shoulders, his string-like legs and slender white tongue growing longer. His skin changes colors, becoming a darker shade of purple, while his crown and robes become red in color. His rhombus has seemingly turned into a round, red gemstone of some sort.
During Carol, Starecrown appears to be wearing a red robe instead of a yellow one and and a Santa hat on top of his crown. Additionally, to contrast his red attire, Starecrown now has green skin.
In the now cancelled Body Inversion reimagining, Starecrown is now a towering monstrosity with a horribly mangled body, dark purple skin, severely bloodshot eyes, notably on the frame of his now red crown and the rhombus on his forehead. He also has teeth that go up to his to the sides of his cranium, down to his lanky centipede-like jaw, not to mention his long slender white tongue. His neck is bent in multiple directions, causing his head to hang upside down, his red robe is tattered and has revealed more of his anatomy, white teeth/spikes behind his robe point out in multiple directions, his torso also having dislocated ribs pointing outwards, 2 of his now pitch black leg are also covered with said teeth/spikes
In his Joke Phase (Corruption), Starecrown's crown is completely hot pink, and his skin is dark purple. The rhombus under his crown is replaced with an X symbol, with his eyes are completely pink with black pupils. He has pink spiky teeth, and red poorly scribbled on the tips of limbs. Instead of proper poses, his sprite merely stretches/compresses to the direction of the note, mocking the low quality aspects of Fan-Made Corruption Mods.
While in his "DadCrown" attire, Starecrown's robes are, in terms of color diffrences, from top to bottom, black, blue and dark green. His crown is also the same shade of dark green. He also wears glasses and holds a juice box of Liquid Gatetail™ using his tongue.[6]
Once he starts to sing, his body will deform to near-monstrous proportions. His mouth will open to reveal several dozens of sharp creepy teeth as well as a long, slender white tongue. Sometimes his eyes will pop out of their sockets (up note pose).

- The crown that Starecrown wears was created with eyes.
- It is unknown how Starecrown welded it together and dyed it yellow, especially since he doesn’t have hands!

- Starecrown was revealed to have been manipulated by Banana Demon, who was hired by Fred the Frog, into "inverting" Boyfriend as revenge for humiliating Fred the Frog in a rap battle. Afterward, Starecrown, Banana Demon, and Fred became "allies with each other. However, Banana Demon, as a cold bounty hunter, does not consider either of them, his friends, and only Starecrown is remotely interested in such a relationship, while Fred still appears to be bitter at him.

- Starecrown came from a hole in the ground. Coincidentally, the creator has described Starecrown as a “10 foot tall Thanos carrot pole,” and well, carrots come from the ground. This however does not have any importance to the character itself, so don’t connect too many dots!
- In the QNA it's stated that Bob could have known Starecrown, but the creator says that it’s in progress. This means they are working on their friendship.
- In the full week QNA, it is stated that Starecrown knows of Hex, Bob, Trollge (though the specific mod was unmentioned), Tabi, Sky (the two would have extensive conversations about their shared idol), and Tricky.
- The Starecrown mod was originally built off of the Zardy mod, which would explain why Starecrown also turns invisible during the first song, STARE. In the bottom left corner, the song “Foolhardy” from the Zardy mod is present further proving this fact.
- This has been changed in the full week, and now Starecrown’s movement sprites can be seen without him fading!
- The error of “Foolhardy” being in the corner instead of the actual songs names has also been replaced. Also fixed in the full week update.
- This is one of the first mods where the character barely does any of the singing at all until later on in the song.
- However, each song after the first has Starecrown sing earlier and earlier.
- STARE has Starecrown scream in the last minutes of the song which is a trait not often seen in other mods. He does this in order to catch Boyfriend off guard. This does seemingly nothing to Boyfriend as he’s confident in winning his next rap battle, however Girlfriend appears visibly terrified.
- Staredown has Starecrown sing earlier than in STARE. Again, same strategy to intimidate Boyfriend, but this time with the darkening environment, Boyfriend starts to sweat. An indication that this 3 year old being is something that Boyfriend has never faced before.
- However, each song after the first has Starecrown sing earlier and earlier.
- It's implied that he is aware of the 4th wall due to knowing who "boyfriend.xml" really is.
- The dialogue in the crown Corruption mod is a reference to one of the Starejoke QnA videos, where Jofini says “Starecrown and lemon demon have an intense sexual relationship”, only to immediately say that he was lying about it.
- The double notes when Boyfriend is singing represent his anxiety, the whole charting is to represent how Boyfriend feels to have Starecrown watch him.
- The reason Starecrown sings during the 2 minute mark is to throw Boyfriend off his guard (one of his favorite things to do), as soon as Starecrown sees Starecrown's idol struggling to sing while doing this, Starecrown stops.
- The first song is supposed to represent Boyfriend’s uneasiness against a new foe (first part), then slowly building up confidence and not stuttering (double notes). When the charting becomes wacky, this is Starecrown using his unexpected tactics to unnerve his idol.
- The charting on the old versions of Stare and Starecrown are supposed to represent one emotion: Dread.
- Halfway in Starecrown's phase 2 song, there is a slight resemblance to Megalovania from a popular indie game known as Undertale.
- Also, in Starecrown’s phase 3 song, one of the parts is a callback to the first song. This is seen in the charting and voices.
- Body Inversion has Edgecrown sing, or screech, immediately in the first seconds of the song, the opposite of what happened in STARE. This hasty maneuver may be another strategy that Starecrown has in place to scare Boyfriend. Of course, Boyfriend expects himself to take the lead as Starecrown stares. However, with Starecrown’s enlarged and scary appearance, screaming early may be more effective than waiting, which is what his idol expects.
- In both categories, Starecrown has the least amount of frames for his idle:
- 3 in the sprite sheet.
- 1 in-game.
- He is the second mod character to have Madness in their Freeplay section without being related to Madness Combat, first being Sunday.
- Coincidentally, both of their names start with the letter "S".
- The line at the end of Body Inversion is taken directly from RetroSpecter's livestream of the mod, where he read a donation he received while still having the demonic filter to his voice that he used for Starecrown's voice.
- If Starecrown was to ever be seen without wearing his crown, Jofini himself would die.[10]

- Being inside Starecrown's dimension feels extremely unnerving since it is specially designed for Starecrown to be able to stare at his idols from all possible angles, thus the feeling of constantly being watched by everyone is created.[21]

Fred The Frog[]

Fred The Frog is a powerful frog originating from Gatetail as well as the second anomaly that Boyfriend encounters during this mod.
Appearance[]
Fred is a swamp-green amphibian with four limbs. His eyes are twisted up and are yellow and dark red. Their head is twisted into a very wide smile,with his body looking like mostly what you’d expect a frogs body to look like.
Trivia[]
- Only recently had Fred taken notice of Starecrown, apparently also finding out his mental weakness. As a result, he hired Banana Demon, a ruthless and expensive bounty hunter, to manipulate Starecrown after revealing his weakness to defeating Boyfriend after Fred had been humiliated by him. Afterward, the 3 became "allies," with only Starecrown showing any affection.
- Fred is the most dangerous anomaly recorded in the Anomaly Dex. However, he is not the most powerful. That goes to Starecrown.
- He has 115 teeth (counting the one hidden underneath his tongue)
- Fred had a wife at one point, but he killed her off for no aparent reason.[34]
- Fred's tongue is three times his body length.[35]
- Fred is not an actual frog. He is just the mirror image of one.[36]

Fluffcrown[]
Fluffcrown is an anomaly similar to Starecrown in terms of looks, only Fluffcrown, as his name implies, is fluffy.
Not to be confused with the actual Starecrown.[38]

Fluffcrown looks very much like Starecrown. He has the same skin color and wears the same yellow robes. However, Fluffcrown has fur and is often seen witout his crown.

Vowder[]

Vowder is, simply put, the very chaotic teenager of the crown familiy[44]. He was originally the beta version of Starecrown, but now these two are co-existing as brothers.

Vowder appears to have spider-like characteristics, having 8 legs, 2 of which can be seen on his front, albeit smaller, while the other 6 are on his sides. He has red fangs and 3 fingers on each hand as well as a skull-shaped mark on his backside. Vowder has a purple color scheme.

- Vowder is the result of Glarecrown trying to create a non-crown anomaly.[45]

Glarecrown[]
Glarecrown is an ancient godess as well as the creator and mother of all crown creatures. She is also an upcoming character for this mod.
Appearence[]
(Based on GalacticAibo's artwork) GlareCrown has grey-ish skin and wears the same yellow robes Starecrown does along her hands. Additionally, Glarecrown sprouts two purple wings. The symbol of IRIS can be seen on her wings and on the white and purple parts of her garments. She has long, dark purple hair as well as gemstone-like eyes and a star symbol on her nose.

- Much like her creations, Glarecrown herself can also shapeshift.[56]
- Similarly to Starecrown, Glarecrown also has the ability to enter an inverted form.[57]
- Glare is a goddess, born with the creation of the Ultraverse, which is everything in canon. Glare wasn't always what she is now however, for a long period of her life she was a pet of sorts. A guardian angel for higher beings until she surpassed them in power and left to pursue other things.[58]

Appearance[]
Starman looks to be having dark yellow skin, having a star for a head. The 5 points on Starman's head are slightly rounded instead of being completeley straight. Starman can also sometimes be seen carrying a wand with a star-shaped head.

- As mentioned earlier, Starman is stronger than Starecrown, yet ADAL thinks otherwise.
- Starman was the first character to be created by Jofini.

The Banana Demon[]

The Banana Demon is a bounty hunter hired by Fred after his first encounter with Boyfriend into manipulating Starecrown to invert Boyfriend. He is also an upcoming character for the Funkin' Against The Anomalies mod.
Appearance[]
(Based on In-Game appearance) Banana Demon can be seen wearing a very long and sleeveless...suit?, dark grey on the outside and white on the inside. He has two very long hands, each with 3 fingers. Oddly enough, his feet cannot be seen through the bottom opening of his suit, though that may be just a trick of the shadows. He has a banana-shaped head, sprouting a big smile. Along his teeth line, a zig-zag pattern can be seen.

- Back when he was still Monster's cooking assistant, he would go out and about to gather the required ingredients while Monster would prepare the food himself.

Fishbrain[]
Fishbrain or Naveek is a fish whois actively trying to avoid "the fish coppers" as well as his own 3076 children because he does not want to pay for child support. He is also an upcoming character for this mod.
Appearance[]
(Based on the artwork) Fishbrain looks to be some sort of fish, having cyan/teal-colored skin/scales. He wears a nice pink bowtie on his chest and has a fez hat on his head and something of a similar texture on his tail. In his right and up animations, Fishbrain has his giant mouth opened up, revealing some very sharp teeth. In his down animation, Fishbrain looks directly towards the player, and in his left pose, he pulls out a gun and points it at what can be assumed to be Boyfriend.

- The only reason he hasn't quit is beacause that's one of the few ways he can actually escape from his wife and numerous children.

Wally appears to be some sort of white sphere-like entity, sprouting bright cyan wings from its head.

- Intentionally, Wally's danger icon has the same iconic expression and glowing eye as the well-known character Sans from the game Undertale made by Toby Fox.
- Wally is often used a as a ping pong ball replacement[61]

Randy appears to have 4 spier-like legs, a tail and a skin-colored body. He has a cyan-colored sharp horn and bright red cheeks. He also sprouts an additional very long limb which has his gun attached to it.

- According to Jofini, Randy has battled Boyfriend in the past before the events of this mod, as seen in an old mod made by him here (maybe make a page for it lmao) (ok).
- According to Jacobe, Randy's upcoming sprites are "absolutely demonic and insane".[68].
- Randy likes to play Clash Of Clans and Clash Royale.[69]

Kermit The Log is a character originating from Gatetail who can be seen standing behind Fred during Operation Frogsong. He will also be an upcoming opponent.[78]
Appearance[]
As his name suggests, Kermit The Log is a frog with a log as his body. He also wears an absolutely radical-looking black boot.

Luo[]
Luo is a very dangerous demon moon who is fluent in ancient moon magic and has knowledge on how to slaughter countless innocents.
Luo has been troubling the ADAL for a very long time, evading all attempts at imprisonment, while also killing numerous ADAL members in the process.
Due to Luo's great power, the ADAL sent Lua in order to subdue it and try to give it some sort of purpose to look forward to in order to keep it in this supressed miniature moon state.
Luo is now Lua's companion and protector, making sure she isn't in any severe danger.
Trivia[]
- If Lua was to ever die or get very badly hurt, Luo would lose his purpose, transforming back into his dangerous form. It is of the utmost importance that this does not happen.
- Other than Lua getting hurt, Luo's dangerous state can also be trigerred by him not knowing where Lua is at any given time.[79]

Kastro Criador or just Criador is the creator and leader of the Anti-Dimensional-Anomalies-League (ADAL for short). He is also currently attempting to capture and contain Starecrown, seeing as how quickly the word has been spread around regarding this 4 year anomaly and how it has started abducting organisms from all across the multiverse.
As for Criador, this is the perfect change of style from the normal anomalies that he's used to pursuing, such as stars, frogs, bananas, and so on. But Criador knows that locating this being was no easy task, so he decided to look for Boyfriend and Girlfriend, who have encountered Starecrown and many others in the past.
Appearance[]
Criador looks to be a human, wearing a combination of pink and red clothes, with his hair also having the same color combination. He can also be seen holding a sort of paper bag puppet version of Starecrown's head[81] in his left hand.

- Criador means Creator in Portuguese.
- Criador is an epic gamer.[82]
- The Starecrown-shaped puppet that Criador is holding in his hand is used as a refrence for whenever he is pursuing Starecrown.[83]
- If Criador doesn't have said puppet object on him, he will simply forget which anomaly he is currently pursuing.[84]
- The reason Criador has paler skin than everyone else is beacuase he is chonically sick. But don't worry, as this condition can't cause him to die.[85]
- Criador's favorite anomalies are Starecrown and Starman.[86]
- Criador has a care free attitude but he can be very serious when the time calls for it. If he finds out that someone is against the ADAL, he would just kill them and not care all that much. If it's someone that Criador knew for a short while (Maybe they were just a good coworker who did their job well until now), he would just be bummed out. however he would still have to probably execute them for treason against the code, especially since that person betrayed ADAL which in turn is betraying Criador. If it was a close friend things would get.. more serious.[87]

Nada[]
Nada is, in Jofini's words, the mind of the ADAL. They are also the only other ADAL member alongside Criador who seems to have taken interest in capturing Starecrown.

Lua[]
Lua is a member of the ADAL and ordinary girl who is constantly being followed and protected by Luo, a deadly demon moon.
Lua was sent by the ADAL in oprder to try and subdue Luo due to its great power. And surprisingly, a friendship was formed almost immediately, far sooner than what the ADAL officials were expecting.
This friendship gave Luo a purpose, which is to protect Lua.

Jacobe is one of the main developers of this mod as well as a former high-ranking ADAL official and a studier of the code at the edge of The Ultraverse. He is also an upcoming character for this mod.
Appearence[]
Jacobe is a tall light-skinned boy with black eyes with yellow lightning bolts. He has yellow, short and spikey hair, with a green raindrop-shaped ahoge. He wears a yellow jacket with a green hood and a lightning-shaped green zipper and green pants. He also has a tree branch coming out of his shoulder.

- The design of Glitchy is inspired by that of a persian cat's.
- Jacobe transforming into Glitchy is usually caused by an error in the source code.
- However, if said error is resolved, he will transform back to Jacobe.[105]
- Glitchy is completely aware of anything it does.
- Additionally, when Glitchy is not in control of Jacobe, it is also constantly aware of what Jacobe does.
- Glitchy has both Jacobe's electirc powers as well as some of its own abilities.

Jofini is one of the main developers of this mod as well as an upcoming character who will battle Boyfriend just beacause he feels like it.
Appearance[]
Jofini is a skinny and tall boy. He appears to be wearing a black vest with a purple outline and 4 small yellow triangles, 2 on each side, forming what appears to be a star. He has black hair and a purple microphone as well as purple pants.
In Jofini's up pose, a sort of purple crystal can be seen on his head and in his left pose he offers Boyfriend some Liquid Gatetail™.

- Due to Jofini's microphone floating in his up and down poses, it is implied that Jofini has some sort of telekenisis power.
- If Jofini could wear an animal onesie, he would wear a frog one. (See gallery)

Bean[]
Bean is a failed expirement originally left in an abandoned warehouse. Long after being left there, Bean eventually woke up and managed to escape the warehouse he was left in. As he was wandering around the area outside of the warehouse, he stumbled upon Starecrown as he was dimension hopping. Bean followed Stare and managed to escape the dimension he was trapped in. The two very quickly became friends, and here we are now. Bean is also a potentially upcoming character for this mod.[107]

- Bean's encounter with Starecrown occured purely by chance, but if it wasn't for that moment, bean would have died to him being alone and confused.
- As a result, Bean has grown to be extremely attached to Starecrown, having extreme separation anxiety due to this.
- When under stress, Bean goes feral, heightening his senses and agility, acting like a rabid animal.

Widen[]
Widen is an anomaly trying to stay undercover by working at the ADAL. Originally, she joined the ADAL as a way to not be captured and to remain hidden, as well as see how every anomaly is contained in order to figure out how to potentially escape if she does ever get caught. However, as time went on, Widen saw her job at the ADAL as less of a way to survive and more as a job she actually enjoys, eventually managing to fully control her powers, which was what labelled her as an anomaly and what made her go into hiding in the first place. She is the one in charge of ADAL security.[111]
Personality[]
Widen's personality is all over the place. In short, she's a little ball of chaotic energy. Widen is kind and caring to most people but isn't afraid to speak up about anyone she dislikes. She has good intentions whenever she does something, however, due to her chaotic tendencies, she could do something she regrets moments later.

- Widen joined the ADAL on July 11th. She has been working for the ADAL for about a year.[112]
- Widen's job at the ADAL consists mostly of her patrolling her stations, dealing with Vowder's various shenanigans and pursuing anomalies in her free time.
- While in her anomaly form, Widen's body becomes one giant light blue blob with giant tentacle-like arms.[113][114]
- During her spare time, Widen attempts to create her own homemade Liquid Gatetail™.
- She is half successful in creating it.
- Widen also likes baking in her spare time.
