Sunday Night Suicide was a mod directed by TheShipySea. Originally created by TheMayz[4] and SonicBoiForLife.
This mod is based on the popular creepypasta suicidemouse.avi creepypasta, featuring 2 separate variants of Suicide Mouse as opponents.
After the initial controversies with its original creator, the mod was looking forward to an official overhaul directed by a new owner, that would've featured several other Disney Horror-related characters whether it be parody or creepypasta. However, due to toxicity and harassment from people who didn't like the new changes, the mod ended up cancelled.
Some Joke Builds of the mod have been made, as well as a semi-official spinoff mod Sunday Night Suicide: Bendy and The City Of Hell.
Plot
Plot (Current)
Mickey Mouse, one of the biggest and most recognizable people in the world, unfortunately let fame get to his head. This caused him to develop a God complex and treat everyone around him terribly. He was a terrible friend and husband, Minnie Mouse as his wife, until it was all stripped away from him and eventually abandoned because of how he treated everyone around him. It eventually ruined his career as well. He dwelled in it for a while, the sudden shift of the things around him made it hard for him to cope, so he turned to some form of drug to make him feel something. He wished he could fix what he did as he knows what he did wrong, but he can’t. After purchasing an overdosing amount one day, he goes on a long stroll home and runs into a Blue Haired Man with his Girlfriend, who comes up to him as a fan and the mod begins.
Plot (Old)
Mickey Mouse was living his life as normal. Until one fateful week, after losing everything and everyone who loved, he decides to buy a syringe with a liquid polonium substance and takes a walk, thinking in what he will do now; his final decision is to commit suicide. However, one part of his mind delays this action. While he was walking, he steps in a button (probably the one who turns one the speakers of GF) and the Breakfast song starts to play. Mickey, seconds after this, stumbles with Boyfriend, who was talking with Girlfriend. Recognizing Mickey immediately, BF invites Mickey to sing, he shrugs and decides to sing Unhappy.
After Unhappy ends, Mickey becomes slightly insane, since the song is the one that he sang to children while he was depressed and lonely. Mickey asks BF if he wants to sing another one. GF questions his behavior, but BF sings anyways, Happy then, starts to play. In the middle of the song, Mickey really turns insane and laughs loudly, however, Boyfriend doesn't seem scared and likes the "challenge".
After Happy ends, the now-demonic Mickey stares at Boyfriend and Girlfriend, who both look unusually calm in spite of the circumstances, Mickey takes his hands out of his pockets and lets out another small scream while his head twitches, he then holds his head in his hands, Boyfriend and Girlfriend both make expressions of fear, with Boyfriend looking almost angry, and Girlfriend looking worried. Mickey looks down while a shadow crosses over his eyes and muffled screaming starts playing, he folds his ears over his head and subtly shakes as his smile gets even wider than before, he lets out a sound that can only be described as a loud nonsensical scream, He transfers to his Really Happy form, BF and GF both look shocked. BF momentarily regains his composure while ear-piercing screams continue in the background.
After the events of Really Happy, the lines between the timelines start blurring. Mickey is sucked by a portal who appears below him. The attraction of the portal brings BF and GF too. Mickey turns back into normal, but he is mad with the portal, since he fell headfirst to the floor. A silhouette appears in front of Mickey and he makes a confuse expression. Alternative Mickey Mouse appears, with a big smile. Boyfriend, instead of appearing in the same place as Mickey, appears behind of Alternative. He tells Alt to sing with him and not fight with Mickey. Smile starts...
Plot (Current)
November 18th, 1928, the beginning of it all.
Born with a rare disease and raised in Моско́вская о́бласть (Moscow Oblast), Russia, he had always been an interesting mouse. Usually outcast by those around him for his facial deformities of a wider smile and misplaced eyes yet was appreciated by those who cared to comfort him. He was taught a lot in his time in Russia, he taught himself to be compassionate and caring, he made sure to learn to respect others’ emotions and to be calm with them, though the more he grew, the less people were there to help him.
Later on in his life, he was given an opportunity of a lifetime to many, a chance to work with Walt Disney. At first, he wasn’t sure: a stranger he’s never heard of… but it was an escape from a place that didn’t like him, a chance to start over in a more friendly environment perhaps...? He didn’t know, but he decided to bite the bullet.
It was a rough time accustoming himself to a new language, he had a clear accent and the man in charge disliked it. No matter how much effort, no matter what he would do, Walt always had his scenes voiced over. The dislike for how he sounded also played into his life around him, the actors he knew would ridicule him and treat him terribly for many reasons: be it his accent or facial deformities, but they were all he had in life. It was hard but he was content with the life he lived as he was able to pay his life necessities.
But one day, it all began to crumble, everyone he knew began to ignore him and leave him, he was never contacted by Walt and anytime he tried to confront in person he was escorted away. He eventually gave up and accepted how his life was, he went for a stroll for a few minutes to clear his head… but minutes became hours, hours became days, days became weeks... And all he did was walk, his facial deformities got worse over time, his smile extending further and his eyes melting off his face due to not taking any treatments for it.
When confronted in person, he has a difficulty talking and can’t remember his real name, though he seems to have taken a liking to the nickname “Smile” ...[5]
Plot (Old)
This version of Suicide Mouse shares the same old story with the original, but with a couple of changes: Minnie still cheated on him, but with Mortimer instead of Pete. Goofy and Donald grew apart from Alt and moved on to Mortimer and even Pluto ran away with him. After various attempts to commit suicide, he takes a walk to collect himself. It is unknown whether he actually kills himself but what we do know is that he takes a slow descent into insanity. [6]

"Reports are spreading of a deadly force - referred to with the nickname "W.E.A.K" - causing a disturbance in people's lives, this entity feasts on the emotionally weak and extorts them for its own good, eventually colliding their reality with alternate universes and making them almost unrecognizable for who they originally were, leaving them as a mess of multiple different versions of themselves. Most of it is unknown aside from one thing: it has a weakness... if neutralized, it will kill it off but take the person out with it.

Leonard Maltin, American film critic and mainstream author, comes across a forgotten, unreleased Mickey Mouse cartoon created by Walt Disney himself. The black-and-white cartoon consisted of a looped animation of Mickey Mouse, with a dismal look in his face, walking down a street with six buildings, accompanied by jumbled, eerie piano music. This would go on until the screen faded to black and the cartoon supposedly ended.
But the cartoon did not end with the black screen. Instead, when it reached the sixth minute, we now see Mickey walking down the street, and the piano sounds were replaced by a faint murmur. As the cartoon went on, the murmur evolved into a "gurgling cry", the sidewalk began to go in directions that seemed simply impossible based on the physics of Mickey's walking, the buildings slowly became more destroyed and crumbled, but most importantly, Mickey's dismal face began to slowly curl into a smirk, and later on, a big wide smile.
By the time the seventh minute approached, however, despair would ensue. the gargled cry turned into a bloodcurdling scream, The buildings were burning and falling apart, colors were shown that shouldn’t have been technologically possible at the time, the sidewalk continued to navigate in impossibly warped directions, and worst of all, Mickey’s face began to fall apart. His eyes squirmed down the bottom of his chin like a goopy liquid, and his already grimacing smile began to point upward on the left side of his face, growing above his head; thus leading to what would Randy Hilson's design would become years later.
All this madness disturbed Maltin to the point where he had to leave the room, sending an employee to finish watching the cartoon, take notes of everything that happened up until the last second and store the disc into a vault. The cartoon lasted for eight whole minutes before abruptly cutting to the Mickey Mouse credits face at the end, along with what sounded like a broken music box playing in the background for about 30 seconds.
After the last frame, the employee stumbled out of the room with pale skin and a traumatized look on his face as he repeatedly kept uttering the sentence “Real Suffering is not known...” seven times before hastily swiping a pistol off of a security guard and committing suicide on the spot. Everyone was then terminated from their jobs after what happened.
Further analyzation of the cartoon revealed that the last frame of the cartoon consisted of a piece of Russian text that roughly translated to “The sights of hell bring its viewers back in.”. Although no one else has ever seen the cartoon again, there have been dozens of attempts at hosting the cartoon's file on Rapidshare by studio employees, all of whom have been promptly terminated of their jobs.
To this day, it is unknown if whether or not the cartoon has managed to find it's way online. If it did, it is likely that it goes under the name of "Suicidemouse.avi".Gameplay Mechanics - Screen Shaking & Skull Notes
- Screen Shaking: During Happy, the screen will start shaking uncontrollably after Mickey laughs. This will also occur at some points of Really Happy. However, it is possible to turn off the screen shaking in the options menu. As of 12/14/2022, the screen shaking will be tamer and might be optional once the Overhaul releases.
- Skull Notes: At the end of Happy as well as during some parts of Really Happy, various black notes with skulls appear. Furthermore, in Happy they spell out "REAL SUFFERRING" and near the end of Really Happy they spell "SMILE" followed with a smiling face right before Suicide Mouse's scream. They function identically to the fire notes in Hellclown.

- SuicideMouse.avi was based on an odd series of comics made by Walt Disney back in the 1930's. In the original comics, Mickey mistakenly thought that he saw Minnie cheating on him with one of his rivals, including Mr. Slicker and Mortimer, when in reality it was a trick of shadows. He was so heartbroken and angry that he tried to commit suicide, by jumping from a bridge, attempting to shoot himself with a shotgun, even attempting to forcefully drown with a weight around his neck. He always failed and always survived, mostly due to comical means. In the last panel, Mickey attempts to use the one method that can't fail: he tries to hang himself on a tree, but a couple of squirrels crowd him and stop him from doing so, upon looking at them closer, he starts to see the beauty in nature and realizes that he's being foolish by trying to kill himself, he starts smiling again and uses the rope he had with him to create a tire swing instead.[7][8]
- The creepypasta was meant to be like a sort of sequel to the comics, where the ending took a turn for the worse.
- The V2 update was released on a Sunday, it is unknown if this was intentional or not.

- The first song, Unhappy, contains various leitmotifs of Steamboat Bill (The song that Mickey was whistling at the start of Steamboat Willie) and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme Song.
- The skull notes are a reference to the indie game Really Happy Mouse.
- The song Happy has a leitmotif to "Calling All the Monsters" (from a Disney Channel sitcom called A.N.T. Farm) in the middle part of the song.
- The beginning of Downcast has a leitmotif of When You Wish Upon a Star (the song that Jiminy Cricket (Cliff Edwards) sung at the beginning and the end of Disney's Pinocchio. This has now become the official fanfare during the opening logos of almost every Disney film), only for it to get distorted and faded out at the end.
- The skull notes at the end of Happy spell out "REAL SUFFERING".
- "REAL SUFFERING" came from the original creepypasta, in which due to the .avi file's properties, those who watch the entire video all the way to the end usually end up committing suicide. The quote is taken from the last words of one of the employees who saw the video, who, upon finishing the video, stumbled out of the viewing room and rambled the phrase "REAL SUFFERING IS NOT KNOWN" 7 times, before stealing a gun from a nearby guard and ending themselves on the head.
- "REAL SUFFERING" is misspelled as "REAL SUFFERRING".
- Within the SNS lore, it's been confirmed that a person committing suicide does not mean they'll immediately go to Hell. Firstly, they'll be judged on how they were as a person.[13]
- Suicide Mouse is the 10th known creepypasta character modded into FNF. - In the OG mod's cutscene before Happy, you can see that Girlfriend has pie eyes.

- However, it was swapped to Psych Engine, due to some issues with the .sm files.
- The mod is heavily based off of the multiple SuicideMouse.AVI videos, including Gorix's video, where the Phase 2.5 & Phase 3's designs seem to originate from.
- The chapter name, "The Sights Of Hell," originates from the creepypasta. In the last 30 seconds of the cartoon, along with the Mickey Mouse end screen, there was a Russian text that read and says, "The sights of Hell brings its viewers back in".
- The thumbnail for the Really Happy teaser utilizes imagery from a jumpscare screen that occurs when there is no input on the Happy Mouse title screen for 20 seconds. It's worth noting that this screen is accompanied by ear-piercing sounds from Candle Cove, which are samples used for Really Happy itself and A Fate Worse Than Death.
- The teaser could be a direct reference to the game's title, or the game itself.
- The Secret "Splice Here" is seen on an Unhappy Cutscene.
- The words, "TRUE SUFFERING" can be seen for a split second while the cutscene corrupts in the v2 trailer.
- Originally, when Mayz was still the director, he has confirmed that more Mickey Mouse related Creepypastas will be featured in the mod.
- However, he also stated that characters from Five Nights at Treasure Island won't be featured in the mod.
- Smile's background uses the same piano heard in the original creepypasta but put into a coherent tune.
- The song Smile currently holds a tied world record for the second slowest BPM of any modded song, not utilizing the debug menu.
- It shares this record with Scrapped from Roblox Goku & Me from Friday Night Foundation, with all 3 songs having a BPM of 65.
- Additionally, Personal Fuck You from VS. Brightside holds the record for slowest BPM of any modded song, having a BPM of 30.

- At the end of the V1 trailer, a text in Russian briefly appears. Translating it results in: "Hi Lois. I'm a Russian Easter egg with creepypasta, Lois."
- On 24/02 (2022), a hacker used the account of Mayz to post some troll songs. These songs are all fan-made concepts and filled with bugs. Some icon even showed a picture of a supposed talk of Mayz saying: "I hate transgenders!". Shortly, Mayz came back and deleted everything, but the damage has already been done.

- After Mayz's departure from the internet, a new director under the name of TheShipySea will update this mod again, with 5 or more bonus songs, alongside an overhaul.
- The shotgun sounds in "Blinded By Sin" come from Team Fortress 2, specifically the gun "Family Business" for The Heavy.
- While the old redesigns were scrapped, some new redesigns will be added with remakes of Unhappy, Happy and Really Happy.
- VS. Mouse's Suicide Mouse would've been the playable character in Mickey Mayhem. However, the controversy shows that this is highly improbable now.
- The instrumental of Happy uses Toxic Biohazard presets for its main melody.
- These presets are "PlayItSlow 2" and "Volume Pedal II ToTc".
- According to multiple users on Rookies Team Discord Server, especially mago_malvado96/evilmage69, some asked if Gorix's Magrolo Mouse would be an upcoming opponent to the mod. In which Shipy deconfirms this by saying, "that he sucks and is just a carbon copy of Suicide Mouse but uglier lol."[15]
- Farfour, the controversial Palestinian TV show version of Mickey also won't be added.[16]
- Despite SNS's 1930's asthetic and appearance, there is no disclosed time period for then the mod happens. This is due to the surrounding context[17]
- Mayz was going to make a fanmade mod called ¨SNS: Legacy¨ where it was going to include all the discarded stuff from the OG Mod before he left the internet, including a remake of Really Happy and Really Darkened entitled, "Really Happy 2K22" and "Darkened Happiness" respectively. Unfortunately, right after he dropped Really Happy: 2K22 Shipy asked him to cancel the mod and not do anything related to SNS to avoid problems.
- "Blinded by Sin" references the fact, that Relapsed is blinded physically by the blood and mentally, after killing Donald and Minnie[18]
- The Joke Trivia section was Shipy's idea so please, DON'T remove it[19]
- It was revealed, that old SNS songs composed by the original creator won't be in the mod similar to how old versions of the songs (like Welcome Old or Revenge Old) are in Vs. Mouse[20]
- Mayz has made a song for a fanmade version of this mod called Sunday Night Suicide: Friends To The End, using Bendy's unused chromatic scale.

(Several messages appear briefly on the screen before a 30's film reel countdown appears, counting from 8 to 1. However, it cuts to black before it's able to properly end. We now see Mickey Mouse appears walking with the discordant piano music described in the creepypasta. After a couple of seconds of walking, Boyfriend and Girlfriend appear outside one of the buildings. Mickey continues walking and bumps into Boyfriend)
Boyfriend: AAAAAAA- (Blue-balled sound effect)
(Boyfriend falls on his own face. Boyfriend quickly gets up upset, but his anger instantly disappears when he realizes that Mickey Mouse is in front of him)
Boyfriend: Oh?
(Boyfriend raises his microphone towards Mickey)
Boyfriend: Bap!
(Mickey looks at Boyfriend's microphone, while Boyfriend shakes it slightly with a question mark appearing, presumably Boyfriend asking Mickey if he wants to sing)
