V.S. TABI, also known as V.S. Ex, is a mod that focuses on the story of Girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, Tabi.
Story
Before The Betrayal
When Tabi was a baby, his parents abandoned him and he lived in an orphanage.[2]
When Tabi and Girlfriend started dating, he had been a novice music producer who had passion and love for his work. Their relationship was going well until he met her dad.
The Betrayal
Girlfriend's father, Daddy Dearest, wanted her to be a rockstar like him. Then, he started using Tabi for his advantage. Years had passed since they were together, but then Tabi suddenly began to notice that Girlfriend, forced by her father, was using him for her own career and concluded that she did not care about him. And at the time, he lost his career helping Girlfriend to become a star. Once she knew he understood everything, some people invaded Tabi's house, kidnapped him and killed his cat. He woke up in some alleyway without clothes, and with his body invisible. Resting only his hands and a skull of a goat. Tabi was massively depressed and saddened by what had occurred. However, he quickly knew who did this to him right away, Daddy Dearest. And for that, he plans take his revenge by killing them both.[3]
Another year had passed, he's made a plan and he's ready to execute it.[4]
Tabi's Plan
Tabi was preparing his plan for at least a year. During his preparation, he would sometimes spy on Girlfriend and Boyfriend battle other opponents such as Tricky and Whitty. Once he realized that it would not be easy taking Boyfriend out, he adopted Whitty and Tricky's singing styles to get Boyfriend out of the way.[5]
Aftermath
After attempting to defeat Boyfriend three times in their rap battle, he was defeated and his plan to kill Girlfriend ended in failure. Not much is known on what happened after the incident but a loud crash was heard and Tabi yelled, "AGOTI!?"

Tabi is the main antagonist of V.S. Ex. He was created by Homskiy and now owned by Cougar MacDowall.[7] and he is an ex-boyfriend of Girlfriend.
He was originally a successful music composer before realizing he was being used by Girlfriend and her father for their own gain, until later being kidnapped and leaving him as the way he is now. He comes back a year later to settle the score with them, even if it means wiping out anyone in between.
Appearance
Tabi's head is reminiscent of a goat's skull, which is a goat headed skull that Daddy Dearest forced Tabi to wear, and he also has skeletal hands. He wears a dark bluish-gray/grayish-blue worker's hat (or a cap to be exact), a grayish-blue/bluish-gray hoodie with a pale blue symbol on the front, bluish-gray/grayish-blue fingerless gloves, dark gray sweatpants, and black sneakers with yellow soles, yellow parts, and a golden triangle symbol on each side. His eye right socket also has a glowing yellow shine of light.
In Genocide, he holds a tactical airstrike (bomb detonator), and his pants, jacket, and hat have some scratches, tears, rips, and holes. He sports many cracks and crevices throughout his body, and having a broken lower jaw, multiples of cracks on the goat headed skull, left hand, and right horn. Also, some of the parts that were on the top half of his left horn are missing.
Personality
Tabi is shown to have extreme hostility and anger issues, given that he has been holding a grudge against Girlfriend and Daddy Dearest for a year. He also seems to have a merciless attitude after blowing up the restaurant, killing multiple people and severely injuring most of them just to kill Girlfriend. Surprising or not, he does not hold a grudge against Boyfriend. In fact, he tries to persuade him into leaving Girlfriend behind, as he thinks Boyfriend is just another "victim". He holds that mindset until his second song, Last Chance, when he realizes Boyfriend was not allowing him to hurt/injure Girlfriend, no matter what. He is also close friends with A.G.O.T.I. and his older brother Aldryx. When Girlfriend was still dating Tabi, he was a normal human, and also a music producer who had passion for his work. His relationship to Girlfriend was very strong, until Daddy Dearest decided to use him for his own benefit, and Girlfriend had no intention of doing this. While Tabi was a normal (and visible) human, he was known to be really kind and nice.
Trivia
- Tabi was once one of few antagonists that hit their notes in the same way as Boyfriend without the player actually controlling Tabi. (Note how the average antagonist's notes simply disappear once they hit, for Tabi, they glow.).
- In Tabi's case, this could be because Tabi was once a boyfriend, just like Boyfriend himself, and thus, he still has his glowing note power, even though he is no longer dating Girlfriend.
- Nowadays most opponents hit their notes like Boyfriend does due to them mainly being on Psych Engine.
- Tabi planted bombs in the restaurant, so no one except Girlfriend and him die, but when the restaurant exploded, well, everything went wrong, and didn't go exactly as planned.[8]
- Despite contrary to popular belief, Tabi is NOT a serial killer.
- This is further proven in the Rework update's Genocide dialogue, when he says he reserved the tables near the bombs to not hurt innocent people, as his main motive is to kill Girlfriend.[9]
- Despite having a goat skull for a head, Tabi is not actually a skeleton nor a goat man. He is a normal human being and what really happened to Tabi was that Daddy Dearest captured him and made him wear a goat headed skull.[10]
- Tabi's lower jaw only appears when he is furious.[11]
- Different extreme emotions temporarily disables invisibility in different parts of his body; rage reveals his lower jaw as seen in Genocide, and pain, such as stubbing his toe, reveals his ribs.
- His old mad right note pose only has six frames, unlike his other mad note poses who have eight.
- However, in the new update, the sprite sheet for Tabi's Genocide poses are being made, and now has 10 mad right note pose frames.
- Tabi is commonly referred as a Gaster Blaster (an attack from the indie game, Undertale) by Homskiy and the community.
- Tabi loves lesbians and Keef.[12]
- Like Cyrix, Tabi's voice was made with the VST called Serum.
- These are some facts about Tabi according to homskiy's Q & A video:
- Tabi was actually created around the time Undertale had grown insanely popular (around 2015-2016), which explains the design resembling that of Sans or Papyrus.
- Tabi doesn't have a favorite food, and just eats whatever he can eat. This is because he is not in a good financial situation due to unemployment.
- Tabi doesn't have a favorite color, but he does like the color orange.
- Ever since Girlfriend betrayed him, Tabi has had severe trust issues, and as a result he is very difficult to approach.

- [A tape recording of Girlfriend’s voice is played by a henchman outside the door. He grins, clutching it. It is mashed up bits of dialogue from Girlfriend's telephone conversations.]
- [Door opens.]
- [A crushing sound is played along with a hit sound. Unfortunately for TABI, he was unable to avoid this attack. The screen then cuts to black.]
- [A car is heard speeding off, with a burnout at the start. Then a silent, echoey laugh from Daddy Dearest.]
- [One second later, the sound of a body hitting the floor can be heard.]
- [Tabi then wakes up, barely conscious in an alleyway, in the middle of rain.]
- [We see Tabi waking up with a POV shot.]
- [TABI pauses for a second. He sits up.]
- [TABI puts his hand in his face, to stop the rain.]
- [TABI looks at his hand, realizing he doesn't see anything besides a white hand.]

Gameplay Mechanics
- Health Drain - During Genocide, Tabi will drain the player's health as he sings. The more the health bar decreases, the darker the screen becomes. To balance it, the player's health starts at 100%, rather than the usual 50%. Furthermore, max health is increased to 150%, which is displayed by moving the HP bar itself to the left. Failure to keep the health bar above 0% will result an immediate game over.
- If the bar actually did start at 50%, Tabi's first note barrage could potentially take the player to below 25% health, and can catch them off guard, resulting in a game over.
- Prior to the Rework update, the player would constantly lose 1% health per second in Normal and Hard difficulties. Additionally, Tabi would also lower the player's health by 1% for each note he sings if Genocide is played on Hard difficulty.
- Screen Shaking/Window Shaking - Whenever it's Tabi's turn to sing in Genocide, the screen will shake. The same can be said to the window if the game is windowed.

ARG: Images
The Twitter account posted three images. The first image depicts Tabi trying to climb and Girlfriend falling. There is a text written "When the brightest light shines in the descant. Will your heart sour or sink to your demise?". Around the couple, there are multiple darkened texts, including one under Tabi and Girlfriend written "May", referencing the fifth month May.
The second image shows Tabi trying to remove the goat's skull while showing his yellow light eyes and being trapped by chains through his throat. Under him, there are two darkened text written "nkx4E4KgKYk" and "The long awaited thruth shall reveal itself soon."[sic]
The third image shows Tabi above of a building, with the text written "Are you finished?" on his left side and two darkened texts written "The Story is not over yet." with two eyes, similar to Girlfriend's, and "The Devil is hidden in the details.", referencing the ARG.
ARG: Tabi's Skull
The first text previously mentioned present in the second image posted by @VSTabiEX, when placed in a YouTube URL, directs to a unlisted video named 1 uploaded by Tabi's Skull.
The transcript of the video is shown as the following:

Afterwards, a white lined artwork is fastly revealed, showing Tabi spying Girlfriend walking in the streets. Then, the video cuts to a encoded link "qxi.an/WkXl" and two number codes "344" and "146".
ARG: Google Drive Files
Decoding "qxi.an/WkXl" with a Caesar cipher decoder using a shift of 15[note 2] words, reveals a Bitly link.[note 3] Placing the digits of "344" in the order of "146" for each digit in the decoded link redirects to a Google Drive folder named "2". Inside, there is a text file with the same name saying:
"Maybe this will be a good start. Would you like to know about my curse? It has been as clear as day to me how my body is starting to slowly fall apart. I can feel every part of it slowly vanishing from my view… it feels as if it was never really there in the first place. Why are the only things that I can see are the tip of my skull and my arms? "
Afterwords, it follows up a code text written "BQS?8F#ks-@VKp:Cj@Zi5u:KLAMa" that, after decoding with a ASCII decoder, reveals a Bily URL that redirects to a Google Drive folder named "3", with two files, "3.txt" and "dread.png". The text file reads:
"I have almost completely forgotten what it feels like to be human. Isn’t it just so bizarre how quick it can be to lose the very thing that made you feel alive, my love? My own reflection is so disorienting for me… I can’t look at myself the same way without feeling genuine fear. It feels like I am not even here anymore. I should be used to it by now, but why does seeing what is missing of my body still terrify me?"
The image "dread.png" shows Tabi looking at the mirror, seeing his human self. On the top right corner of the image, there is a barcode that directs to a Google Drive folder named "4".
Inside the folder, there is a text file with the same name and a image file named "forgotten". The text reads:
"I have yet to figure out how to fix myself… This curse is making me start to run out of patience. However, I should save the questions for later, and move on to the facts instead. Everyone out there is starting to convince themselves that I have actually died. It is strange to me, to say the least. You never really know how much time you have with someone until their presence becomes a ghost to you, right? But in this case, they don’t know that I am still here."
The image shows Tabi looking at a grave, presumably related to him, with four people around it. In the properties of the image, in the Comments section, there is a Bitly link that redirects to another Google Drive folder.
In the folder, named "5", there is a text file with the same name. The text contains:
"I wish that it was as simple as coming out to put their worries to rest. Although, I still have a feeling that some old friends still have hope in their hearts to see me alive and well again… There is also the people who enjoyed my music, although it's in your father’s name, I believe there are a few out there who can see right through that facade, and have been documenting every single incident your parents have been keeping under wraps. It isn’t that easy for me though, hun. as I still have something left to do before I can truly return to those who I care about. I am sure that you will see exactly what I mean by that when the time comes for it."

In May 2023, The administrator and former bureaucrat of Funkipedia Mods Wiki ThatAzazelFire added the text “3NMPZGb” in the Download Links section of this article.[15] Placing the text in a Bitly URL redirects to a Google Drive folder named "6".
It contains a text file named "6", and a image named "a single second.png", the text reads:
"There is just one thing that I simply cannot understand… why did you decide to take everything away from me? I can’t wrap my head around it, everything that I dreamed of was simply stripped away from my own goddamn hands, and I think that you know exactly why it happened. Surely you must have a reasonable explanation for this… don’t you, my love? Don’t you? Do not even try to make me laugh, Do you know what you have done to me…?"
The image contains a darkened encoded text in the bottom left corner. Decoding it with a Base64 decoder, leads to a Google Drive folder named "7".
The folder contains a text file named "7" and a image named "kindness.jpg". The text reads:
"After toying with my Heart for what felt like ages, taking advantage of me for my Own music, making me lose my own home, and even getting your own FUcking parents to take the life of my own cat, do you really think that I am going to Forgive you? The image reveals Tabi with his hands showing a heart. In the properties of the image, there is a comment saying "pass: jkLjJNkIHNk". The text file contains a few letters upscaled incorrectly that forms "HOFUFCNTC". Placing the text in a Bitly URL directs to a Google Drive link to the next phrase.
It contains a text file named "8" and a audio file named "wip.wav". The text reads:

The image is a dark art of Tabi sitting on the floor. The text gives a hint to return to the Gamebanana page. In there, a text written "3ntwtu2" can be found, which is part of a Bitly URL that directs to the last Google Drive link.
In the folder, there is a locked zip file named "End", whose password is "jkLjJNkIHNk",[note 4] that contains two images and one text titled "end.txt". The text reads as follows:

The first image, called "Ehteepc nzxacpddtzyd qfnvtyr DFNVD xly.png",[note 5] is the same as the first image posted by @VSTabiEX. The second image is named "Retribution.png", showing a photograph of Girlfriend crossed in red.
Conclusion
The date revealed in the previous text file is presumed to be the release date of the upcoming update of the mod. However, due to the update not releasing, it was delayed.Trivia (General)
- If Boyfriend loses to Tabi in Genocide, it will show a knife stabbed into the top of Boyfriend's skull along with the regular blue balls. It can be presumed that Tabi had initially planned on stabbing Girlfriend but resorted to his bombs when The Boyfriend kept getting in his way, or that he kept the knife as a backup plan in case the bombs failed to kill her.
- It was confirmed by Tenzubushi, the mod's composer and artist that Genocide was inspired by Tricky and Whitty, most likely Madness and Ballistic.
- This is further supported by the fact that Genocide literally contains Ballistic’s leitmotif towards the end, and how Tabi's vocals in Genocide sound similar towards Tricky's in Madness.
- Due to Roblox's censorship forbidding the use of the word Genocide, the aforementioned song is renamed in most if not all FNF fan games on the platform.
- It is known as Song #3 in Funky Friday, Mass Homicide in Even More FNF 2, Massacre in Literally FNF and Monday Morning Misery, Homicide in Friday Night Bloxxin', Destruction in Basically FNF: Remix.
