Zenos is the main antagonist of the Friday Night Funkin' mod, Project Enigma. He is supposedly Boyfriend's high school friend. He is also Filipino, but grew up in America.

Full Version[]
Zenos, whose real name is Javier, is a 21-year-old Filipino man that grew up in America, went to the same high school as Boyfriend and became friends with him, and suddenly disappeared when BF went to college.
Who or what is the thing that corrupts Zenos in the 4th song, Negatio?
That is the Libra Project, a program (more specifically a script) that was created by an unknown organization and was implemented to Zenos' entire nervous system after Zenos volunteered to participate in the Libra-Experiments, which was the reason why Zenos suddenly dissappeared.
What is the Libra Project?
The Libra Project, labeled as "23018898-PRJ-GREGORY-JAYONMAN" was a series of human enhancement programs that used computer scripting and physical and mental therapy to fully transform the human body and mind. Started by Henry Gregory and managed by Personn Jayonman from an unknown organization, they envisioned the perfect human being, capable of becoming whatever the holder wants, and for Zenos' case, that was someone who could never lose.
The program would be implemented once the participant could withstand the power of it. There were 58 participants. Only 34 remained, including Zenos.
First, the program would invade the brain, and spread across the entire nervous system, taking control of the human. Next, the program would find the person's greatest desire on who they want to be, and if they couldn't find it, the person would suddenly die of shock. From 34 people, it went down to 29, again, including Zenos. It would then transform the person into what they truly want to be, and then they would stay in the facility for 2 weeks more before being discharged and paid for participating.
The fact that the Libra Project could infect the brain means that the person's thoughts and dreams could be affected by the Libra Project. Go to the end of this story to see how it affected Zenos after his battle with BF.
Why did Zenos participate?
At the time when Zenos was in elementary, he began to participate in a whole lot of competitions, destroying every single opponent he had, and winning champion in all of them. His win streak all ended when Zenos ran late to a single competition because a poor woman was getting assaulted.
Zenos, being the fair boy he is, accepted his defeat, smiling as he watched all of his supposed-to-be opponents win medals and getting awarded with praise and admiration from others, and even congratulating them after the competition.
But inside him, his anger and desire to win grew inside of him, ultimately leading to him desperately finding a way to never lose or miss anything again. He trained even harder, he got another win streak, but that wasn't enough.
What happened to Zenos after that?
To him, getting failure turns him into one.
That single loss from that competition just because he was late haunted him forever.
Before starting high school and meeting BF himself, Zenos found himself in sponsorship by an unknown organization developing a program that transforms anyone into who they want to be.
Zenos, still having that desire to never lose again, immediately agreed to the contract and commissioned his wish to the organization. After that, a few weeks of turning himself into a lab rat have granted him...
The Libra Project, A powerful device that changed him, unknowingly, permanently.
Zenos finally got the power he wanted. And it truly was powerful. Zenos won every single one of the matches he had, all of them by a landslide.
But it wasn't long before Zenos realized that having power that strong doesn't affect others.
Because of his new power, his strategies and executions were now far more effective than before but were now also brutal and terrifying.
He sometimes saw the faces of his opponents, their faces were as if they were looking at a monster, a tyrant, or a madman. People feared him. And now, he fears himself.
Guilt plagued Zenos' mind. And after realizing that he had hurt his opponent physically, he had enough.
He donned a new look and gave himself a new alias 'Zenos', he abandoned his name Javier and became the man you see in the mod right now.
He promised himself that he would never join another competition again.
But even though he promised himself, his desire to win and his anger about that single loss ate him up inside.
That caused the Libra Project to worsen, and it took a toll on his internal organs, mainly his lungs and vocal cords. That was why his voice without his mask was very raspy and distorted.
Time goes by until Zenos was 20 years old. He had just seen Boyfriend again, but he was different. He had learned how to rap and sing. When he saw how good BF was when he was facing off against Carol, he was inspired. Something lit up inside of his heart. His desire to win has returned, only leaving his anger behind.
Zenos had regained his strength to compete again, but this time, he wanted to be different. He wanted to control himself.
And control himself, he couldn't do. After winning every single battle he had gotten himself to, his next target was Boyfriend himself. Before Zenos sent a message to BF that he wanted to battle him, he first stalked him and observed his every single word and movement in every battle that BF had.
Zenos even got into the same troubles as him. He encountered the persistent Sarvante and the ominous Russian Ruvyzvat, he survived the endless barrages from the clown Tricky, he had a traveling issue with the dangerous A.A.H.W, he almost got himself killed by Hank and Deimos, his laptop was hacked with the same virus that Hex got, he was almost assassinated by Agent Anders, and he even met the bomb himself, Whitty, at the grocery store.
And after knowing what BF had gone through, he felt two things for him: pity, and respect. He knew that BF was a formidable opponent.
What happens after the week ends?
Zenos falls unconscious because of exhaustion, and the Libra Project hides in his body again, waiting for another moment to strike. BF and GF take him to the hospital where Zenos wakes up in tears after being mentally abused by the Libra Project in his dream.

Zenos is a 21 year-old Filipino-American athelete, game developer, and local rapper. He was born in the Philippines but was raised in America. He was friends with BF in high school but he disappeared when he went to college.
Zenos started participating in multiple competitions, winning in every one of them. His streak was broken when he ran late to one competition, and even if Zenos looked like he accepted it, he could not bear having an imperfection on his record. And so, to make sure he doesn't lose again, Zenos joins an experiment where people are tasked to undergo training in order to withstand the experiment's effects.
That experiment was the Libra Project, a program that is injected into the mind of a person, and grants the host's greatest wish. For Zenos, his wish was to never lose again, and in another sense, never have an imperfection ever again. Zenos' first months of having the experiment proved that his wishes were indeed being granted, and soon enough, he learned the hard way that the cost was his own humanity and morality.
Seeing his own fearful image, Zenos abandoned his name Javier and changed it to Zenos, becoming the one in the mod today. And after running into one of BF's many battles, Zenos was inspire and went back to his rap-battling days. And so, after training himself, he sent a message to BF, inviting him over to his house for a friendly rap battle.Appearance[]
Zenos appears to be a man of average height and build, with green eyes, black hair, and light-brown skin.
His first appearance in the first two songs shows him having a brushed-up haircut. He wears a gray shirt that has the iconic "aesthetic" sun in the middle with the word "VIBE" below it. He also wears dark-blue jeans with a brown belt, as well as having a mask that changes his voice and covers his mouth and nose.
His second appearance which is in the third song is the same minus the voice-mask. He also has a confident grin throughout the song.
His final appearance in the fourth song is still the same, except Zenos' right eye now has a black sclera. His confident grin has now turned into a pained expression.
Trivia[]
- The name of the 3rd song, Atelophobia is the fear of imperfection.
- This makes reference to Zenos backstory.
- "Sana'y ikaw ay ligtas. Patawarin mo ako" roughly translates to "I hope you are safe. Forgive me" in Filipino.
- During Negatio although faint, speaking can be heard. This voice roughly says: "You were always hungry for victory. So why do you regret it? You could've been the greatest, and yet you chose to fall."
- The name "Zenos" is actually Ramadoor's old username. To be complete, his full, old username was "ZenosTheWizard".
- As stated in the "Who is Zenos" text file, Zenos used to have a crush on Carol, but discarded those feelings upon finding out she was already with someone.
- Zenos drinks Earl Gray tea.
- A remake of Project Enigma is actually being developed, with a new week, three new characters, as well as new mechanics, songs, and a full art overhaul.
- Answering a question on the official Project Enigma tumblr page, Zenos was created as an OC for a game named "Mobile Legends". Zenos' first design was a stickman with cloth wrapped around his face, showing only his right eye. Zenos also wore a leather jacket and claws on his hand.
- The second song, Zen-Mode, has a leitmotif of the song, "Il vento d'oro", or more commonly called, "Giorno's Theme."
- Zenos' sprites, primarily the outline of his pants, have a dark gray color instead of the black outline. This may be because Ramadoor forgot to make the outline black when making the sprites.
- It is possible that Project Enigma is the first mod to feature a Pure-Filipino character.
- Zenos shares a song with Ron from Vs. Ron, that song being Atelophobia.
