― Slogan of the SCP Foundation
Friday Night Foundation is an upcoming mod based off the SCP Foundation mythos, an online horror-fiction writing project revolving around a fictional organization with the same name. This mod depicts Boyfriend as an SCP with the anomalous ability to force any entity into a rap battle, which he uses to go up against various notable SCP characters.

This article uses one or more placeholders. Placeholders are commonly used for when a mod or asset hasn't been released publicly. Placeholders should be replaced with official assets as soon as possible.
Note: The icons for the Addendums won't be out for a long time/ever, so placeholders by StrangerInTheVoid are used for immersive purposes.

Mechanics and Effects
- During "Locked In", Boyfriend has a constantly draining blinking meter present during the song. It is recommended to press the blink notes for Boyfriend to live.
- During "Terminated", Sammy will occasionally fire his gun at you. This is completely unavoidable and does varying amounts of damage to Boyfriend.
- During "Vivisection", Icons that resemble SCP-049's hands will appear in Boyfriend's arrow lanes, if hit, they take away a large amount of HP, usually killing BF or dropping him to 1 HP.
- During "Captivated", Valerie will occasionally attempt to strike Boyfriend with their knife. You must hit the spacebar within the allotted time window. Failure to do so will result in being damaged and a 10 second bleed effect, or an instant kill if your health is low enough.
- During the second half of "My World" and "Decaying". Boyfriend will be taken to SCP-106's pocket dimension. This will darken the screen, add a border around it, and cause your health to rapidly decay.
- In "Playtime", it is impossible to die. SCP-999 will drain their own health while singing, and managing to lose all your health will result in a sound effect and being healed to half health.
- Not even the reset button will be able to kill you, it will just reset your health to 50% with the afforementioned sound efffect
- In "Mayhem", Agent Thomson will drain your health as he sings. This alone is not enough to kill the player.
- "Me"🔚, ●●!●●●●●!●●!● 🤗 🖥️, 👁️✔️, ⚙️❌.
Trivia (General)
- The title screen music, "Anomaly", is a remix of The Final Flash of Existence, the title screen music for SCP: Secret Laboratory.
- Additionally, SCP-096's song, Scopophobia, shares a name with one of the major updates from SCP: Secret Laboratory. However, this may be a coincidence as opposed to a reference.
- In Locked in, Boyfriend's eyes seem visibly tired, as his eyes have to stay constantly open to make sure SCP-173 does not kill him.
- The names of the three difficulties ("Safe", "Euclid", and "Keter") are based on three of the most common object classes.
- Addendums are named after addendums in SCP articles that serve as small "updates" or notes on a file.
- Boyfriend has three different D-Class codenames.
- For the cover art of "My World", "Disgusting" and "Knock Knock", the Freeplay Menu for "Recontainment" and "Scopophopia", BF's codename is "BB", possibly meaning "Blueballs".
- For the cover art of "Mayhem", BF's codename is possibly "80".
- For the pre-released idles of BF, his codename is "_ _ 5 2".
- GF's codename is "BT", which stands for "Big Tits" or "Big Thighs".
- Multiple tracks will have custom death scenes specifically made for that song only.
- "Locked In" shows boyfriend's neck being snapped.
- "Terminated" shows Boyfriend's balls being shot off.
- "Vivisection" and "Vasectomy" shows Boyfriend being cured by SCP-049.
- "Captivated" shows Boyfriend being sliced in half.
- "My World" and "Decaying" shows Boyfriend being dragged into the pocket dimension.
- In case that BF is already in the pocket dimension, the death animation will result in him being melted by 106's acid, with only his blueballs standing.
- "Scopophobia" shows SCP-096 lunging towards boyfriend for the kill, with the sequence being [REDACTED].
- "Explanation" shows Boyfriend being disintegrated by TheRubber's most questionable superpower.
- "Private Investigator" shows Boyfriend's balls being cut off.
- "Ballin" and "Mayhem" result in the vanilla death animation, but styled for the mod.
- The death messages seen on the game over screen are directly inspired by the custom death messages of SCP - Containment Breach.
- SCP-J911's page on the SCP Wiki was originally created as vandalism, and was later deleted. It was located on the same page as SCP-4972.
- In total, there are 21 unique instances of cover art on the main menu. The list of characters that have art on the main menu are:
- SCP-066 ("Eric's Toy")
- SCP-079 ("Old AI")
- SCP-087 ("The Stairwell")
