(...keep calm Macy, Friday Night Funkin': B-Sides Remixes's only like, 2 feet tall they can't hurt you.) - Macy

This article lacks content, whether it be lacking Assets, Trivia, Music, or something else. You can help Funkipedia Mods Wiki by expanding it with more info! Thank you!

Reason: There's still things that haven't been added this includes: The Week 5 top crowd bopping and the remaining top crowd in Winter Horrorland. The new menu background and assets. The full redux backgrounds for weeks 1, 2 and 7. Statics for most of the redux characters. Pico's other Week 7 animations. (arriving, getting ambushed, and shooting the Tankman at the end of Stress) Tankman's "Heh. Let's rock!" during halfway through Stress (B-Sides).

Remixes the games music and gives the visuals a fresh coat of paint.

Friday Night Funkin': B-Sides Remixes is a mod created by Rozebud, with music and charting help from JADS and additional art by Cval. It overhauls a lot from icons to tracks, with all tracks from Weeks 1-6 (except for Monster) having B-Side remixes and all weeks having palette swaps, while others include redesigns for BF, new animations, and even upcoming previews of animations.

One and a half years after its original release, the mod received a total overhaul called Redux, and its original version was renamed to Legacy (as seen in the downloads section)/Classic. In addition to having new team members (fluffyhairs being a composer and ElikaPika being an artist), new music, charting, and others, the characters' designs also underwent some changes, with some references to the outfits of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The initial release of Redux includes Weeks 1, 2, and 7, the Tutorial, and all of the original content from B-Sides Legacy/Classic.

In the future, the mod is expected to receive a Wave 2 update that will add updated remixes of the songs in Weeks 3 through 6.

In Week 5, he is wearing a purple winter coat with white fluff, black pants, and violet boots with a black base.

In Week 6, he is a pixel version of himself.

Trivia

  • B-Side Boyfriend seems to explicitly have a more "radical and funky" clothing choice than usual, given his hairstyle, clothes, and sneakers.
  • The sole of B-Side Boyfriend's sneakers seen in the title screen has the initials NG and an angry faic design. Both are references to the Newgrounds website.
  • While hard to see by normal means, the pink in B-Side Boyfriend's hair (main and shading color) is slightly lighter compared to his Legacy/original B-Side counterpart.
    • Currently, his hair colors are: #FF74E0 for the eyeshadow, #FFC4F2 for the ends. While the original colors are #FF61DC and #FFBBFF.
  • His cap's violet is very questionable point.[1]
    • Currently, it's #8950DF and #4833EB.

Trivia

  • Rozebud did the voice of Girlfriend[2], just like how Kawai Sprite did the voice of regular Girlfriend. Both are male and edited their voices to sound feminine.
  • Instead of saying "That's how you do it", B-Side Girlfriend says, "You got this!".
  • Oddly, B-Sides Girlfriend's animations for Week 3 are already done and available on her sprite sheet, despite Redux still being in its initial stages, without Week 3 or 4.
  • B-Sides Girlfriend appears to be less reliant on her powers, as she wields a baseball bat against the biker gang.
  • B-Sides Girlfriend seems to be a lot more demanding when it comes to relationships, as she doesn't even cry when Boyfriend misses a note. Instead, she just looks away and makes a disgusted expression.
  • Unlike Boyfriend, Daddy Dearest, Pico, or the Tankmen, GF's design appears to contain very few differences compared to regular GF. Elaborating further, the only major differences found on B-Side GF are her colors (Obviously), her new gloves, her smaller eyes and new mouth, and a slightly altered hairstyle. Aside from that, her appearance is not very different compared to regular GF.
    • However, like Boyfriend, B-Sides Girlfriend also has lighter hair than her Legacy counterpart. However, it's much more noticeable compared to BF. Comparing again, her current hair colors are: #E0954B for the eyeshadow and #FEF15F for the middle. While the original colors are #E2783D and #FFF83D. However, her violet parts also goes to this logic, so: #6334B0 & #301D9C (current); #4E27B1 & #1D1F72 (Legacy).
