Friday Night Funkin': Hellbeats is an overhaul mod, featuring a new story, new songs, and mod charts. Assumedly taking place 100 years after the base game, the mod depicts Boyfriend as an angel that has descended into Hell and fallen in love with Girlfriend, who is a demon.
The mod is currently receiving a full revamp, with remixes of the base songs and new charts, and updates to the character designs. Currently, the first 3 weeks have been revamped. More info about that can be found on the mods official Twitter account, found here.

Hellbeats Girlfriend has blue marine hair and reddish skin. She has long, sharp nails painted with black nail polish. She has sharp teeth, black lipstick, pink blush on each cheek, and a smirk on her face. She wears a blue top with off-the-shoulder sleeves, white stockings and light blue heels with strap-ons. She also has a pair of golden earrings and bracelets.

Hellbeats Skid and Pump[]

Appearance[]
Hellbeats Skid and Pump have completely different mismatched pupils. Skid's left pupil is an X, while his right pupil is a swirl. Pump's left pupil shifts between a star and an upside down heart, while his right pupil shifts between and a swirl and an oval. The bone parts of Skid's skeleton costume now have a more brownish tint to them instead of being pure white. Skid's mouth is now a different shape as well, and his head sports some cracks, while Pump's pumpkin head is now a more rotten yellow-orange instead of pure orange. His stem is now yellow-green instead of olive green. He also sports black tears leaking from his eyes. Skid's mouth is also shown to be stitched up.

Hellbeats Monster[]
Appearance[]
Hellbeats Monster has a red lemon-shaped head that sports bite marks on it, as well as a single rotten yellow horn on the right side. His eyes glow pure white. His mouth sports white teeth that are stained red with blood at the roots, as well as what appears to be a thread of skin connected to both jaws. His body remains the same as the original Monster, only now it is tinted a slight dark red, and the neck is a dark brown-red.

Hellbeats Pico has greyish skin and messy, red hair. He has a pair of small black horns and numerous glowing white eyes. He wears a dark grey sweater shirt, a pair of light brownish pants with a golden belt, dark grey shoes with yellow soles, and black fingerless gloves along with golden jewelry such as rings and a keychain necklace.

Trivia[]
- The mod takes place 100 years after the original game. This might be changed later on, when the revamp is done.
- Similar to B-Side, Senpai remembers Boyfriend even though this mod occurs (as stated before) a century after the main game.
- Daddy Dearest's original design bears a slight resemblance to Kiryu Kazuma, with his white wardrobe and near-black hair. This is most likely a coincidence, however.
- Boyfriend in this universe is an angel rather than a human.
- In the revamp, Daddy Dearest calls Girlfriend "Gearest", an alias she was also given by Mommy Mearest in Friday Night Funkin' HD, which could imply this is also her name in this universe.
- Boyfriend and Pico's old designs wear shoes with light-up soles which correspond to the colors they input during songs. Boyfriend still keeps the shoes in his redesign.
- Hellbeats Boyfriend is friends with HD Boyfriend and D-Sides Boyfriend.
