“When I was a little kid, the two things I loved more than ANYTHING were Godzilla and NES games. So naturally, when Godzilla: Monster of Monsters came out, it was a match made in heaven, a dream come true, heh. Well... almost....”
― Zack's opening line in Chapter 1
Friday Night Monster of Monsters is a mod directed by CumiNashe and LeCherlok, and co-directed by EL GAMER POBRE. It is based on the Godzilla NES Creepypasta and currently features three 'planets' to play through, with bosses on the map and multiple secret songs scattered throughout, all of which having different vocal versions depending on the player's chosen playable character. Alongside it are bonus songs in the Jukebox and Mania styled instrumental charts.
Gameplay Mechanics[]
- Game board: Rather than the classic week selection, Story Mode instead replicates the hexagonal game board of the original NES game. Each turn the player can take control of either Godzilla or Mothra and move them on the board a certain number of tiles (2 for Godzilla and 4 for Mothra). Most songs need to be first completed in Story Mode to unlock them in the Jukebox. There are several ways to find new songs:
- Enemy encounters: Ending a turn on certain tiles can lead to enemy encounters - minibosses with their own songs. If a song has been completed previously, the player has the option to skip the encounter by pressing the Esc key.
- Bosses: After the player's turn, one of the bosses present on the board will move 1 tile toward the player character. If they land on a tile adjacent to the player, their song will automatically begin. The player can also choose to fight the boss themselves by moving up to them.
- Red encounters: On Earth and Mars, the player can advance to the next planet without fighting any of the bosses by simply moving any of the monsters to the satellite tile. However, starting from Pathos, the only way to advance is by defeating every boss on the board. Doing so replaces the satellite tile with a red face tile. Moving to it will initiate an encounter with Red, the creepypasta's main antagonist. "Redkiller" is currently the only song that is unlocked this way.
- Permanent Damage: In all of the mod's songs, any damage taken from missing notes will be permanent, meaning the player won't be able to regain health from hitting notes. In Story Mode, each playable character has their own separate health bar and any damage taken will be carried over to the next song.
- Health Notes: To make up for lost health carrying over between songs, capsule notes will appear in almost every main campaign song. Hitting one of these will heal the player by slightly under 2 bars.
- Missiles: In Mysterian, Bad Signal & Alomnesia, Moguera/Not-Moguera will cause missiles to appear in the player's strumline. Hitting one of these will deal 1 and 2 bars worth of damage during Moguera and Not-Moguera's songs respectively.
- No Ghost Tapping: In Collision, if the player has enabled ghost tapping, it will be forcibly turned off after the Power Plant background appears and will stay that way for the rest of the song.
- Health drain: In Out of Place, some parts of Stray & the underwater section of Unbelievable Destroyer, Titanosaurus (or Varan) will drain the player's health for every note he hits.
- Dizziness: In the second half of Paramnesia, Not-Geroza will cause the player's strumline and any notes coming to it to become semi-transparent.
- Acid notes: In Bio War & Dead Cells, Biollante will cause blobs of acid spit to appear in the player's strum-line. Hitting one of these will cause the player's health to begin slowly draining for a few seconds. Hitting more of these notes will stack both the health drain's intensity and duration. If enough of these notes are hit, the health drain's duration will become permanent for the remainder of the song, which is signified by a green tint overlaying the screen.
- Moving Strumline: In Unbelievable Destroyer, Varan will move the player's strumline closer to the center of the screen, giving less time to react to incoming notes.
- Invisible Health Bar: During "REDKILLER", both the player and RED's health bars are hidden out of sight, meaning that the player cannot see how much health they have left or the song's remaining duration.
- RUN & Flame Notes: Also during "REDKILLER", the player's health bar is replaced by large text reading "RUN" on the top center of the screen. Hitting a flame note will cause one of the letters of the text to turn red and begin glitching out. If three of these notes are hit, the whole word will turn red and hitting one more will cause an instant game over.

Biollante (Rose) | 278.87ft tall genetically modified plant hybrid kaiju who first appeared in the 1989 Toho Godzilla film Godzilla vs. Biollante. Biollante was Godzilla's first opponent in the Heisei series of films, and was the first major monster in the franchise to be plant-based rather than animal-based or mechanical. Biollante was born out of Dr. Genichiro Shiragami's splicing of Godzilla cells into a rose that he had already spliced his dead daughter's cells into, causing it to mutate at an accelerated pace and become a giant flower monster within the consciousness of Shiragami's daughter.
Biollante | 393.70ft tall Biollante returned in her larger and deadlier plant beast form and attacked Godzilla at Wakasa Bay in an intense battle where both monsters were badly injured and forced to retreat. Her Godzilla genes completely take over. She grows a proper, Godzilla-like head with eyes, teeth, and 6 tusks (3 on each side). Her body sprouts a pair of extra jawed tentacles on each side, stubby, root-like feet. and her "heart" becomes much more exposed.
Beaker | Beaker is a humanoid with a grasshopper-like head, purple eyes with lavender irises, and a shirveled up appearance, with ribs and other bones visible through the skin. It only takes damage when you hit his proyectile

Suitmation Trials Godzilla | In the Suitmation Trials, Godzilla presents a deeply unsettling and sinister form that diverges from its classic portrayals. This iteration of Godzilla is shrouded in a shadowy, almost spectral darkness, enhancing its eerie and malevolent aura. Its head is marked by a haunting expression, with large, luminous eyes that pierce through the gloom, exuding an otherworldly glow that adds to the creature's terrifying visage. The jaws are equipped with sharp, menacing teeth, often seen bared in a predatory snarl, emphasizing its aggressive nature. This is not the man in the suit
