Here is a list of all the rules for the Funkipedia Mods Wiki. It's urgent that all users must follow these rules and guidelines in order to ensure a safe and fun time within the FNF Mods Wiki. Wiki staff will be enforcing these rules regularly, so it's important to have a basic understanding of what they are. Because of the fact the rules tend to be updated often, it is also important to check back every now and then to see what's added or updated. Said updates can be found in this page's edit history.
Some of these rules are similar or even exact copies of the non-affiliated Friday Night Funkin' Wiki's rules. However, due to the nature of the mods wiki and the modding community, there are some unique rules as well. If a rule seems unclear, please ask a current member of the wiki staff for clarification.
Like all other Fandom wikis, all users here are expected to follow Fandom's Terms of Use. Failure to adhere to those terms will result in an immediate block.
Block time may vary depending on the severity of the rule broken and the administrator enforcing the rules. Being blocked always results in the IP address of that user being blocked as well.

Creating pages over and over is also considered spam. Spamming in an article is generally seen as vandalism. | Edits will be reverted. | 9. | Protected Pages | Certain articles and files on the wiki are protected, meaning they can only be readily edited by users with certain rights, namely wiki staff members. Though there are a variety of reasons as to why, the most common reason for a page being protected is due to excessive vandalism. Protection can be enabled or disabled for any period of time at the wiki staff's discretion. Anonymous edits have been disabled due to many cases of vandalism being committed by anonymous users. As a result, it will not be reactivated, meaning users must be logged in to be able to edit. |
If the explained proposed changes are deemed sufficient enough, a staff member will either edit on the requested locked article on the user's behalf, or a staff member will temporarily semi-protect the page for the user to make the desired edit for a limited time. | 10. | Using Funkipedia Assets | While we do not own any mod on this wiki, we do own art made by our users for placeholders and other purposes. Do not use them without permission from the artist and wiki. | 3. | Underaged Users | This wiki and the forums are mainly intended for users aged 13 and above. In addition to Fandom's terms of use, Friday Night Funkin' is a T-rated game and this wiki adheres to that rating as well. The contents of the wiki aim to be informative to everyone that enjoys the game, but some of its content may not be entirely appropriate for younger users. Although the wiki staff cannot and will not stop users from entering the wiki and reading or editing its articles, they WILL be blocked if they are discovered to be or are suspected of being under 13 years of age.
Users blocked due to being underaged is done as a preventative measure to protect vulnerable, young users. A blocked user will only be able to browse the wiki, but not be able to interact with other users, potentially those with malicious intent. |

Not only is it rude, but it also makes the existing wiki staff less trusting of your abilities, especially if you have done very little to prove yourself as a respectable editor/contributor of the wiki. | 8. | Reporting | If a user encounters anything that could potentially be breaking the rules, report the offending content or user to an administrator or moderator. Users can also report on comments and posts directly. Regular users should keep in mind that they cannot enforce our rules. Reminding others that their actions could be considered rule-breaking is fine, but don't act as though you have any say in the affairs of the staff, because you don't. |

This rule mostly applies to Friday Night Funkin' Modders as it's more likely they would get into controversial off website then the average user. You shall be blocked however you will have the right to ask for your page to be removed. | 5. | Shipping | Discussions related to non-canonical "shipping" or "ships" (character pairings) on the wiki are not allowed. Be sure to use it only when it's necessary, and make sure that the contents of it are appropriate. It may also be a good idea to tell other staff members that you plan to make an announcement. |
| 8. | Favoritism | Do not give users any sort of preferential treatment. Never turn your head away from somebody's bad behavior or excuse their rule-breaking actions just because you know them very well or have developed a good bond with them. | 9. | Inactivity | If a wiki staff user is shown to have been inactive for some time, they will be labeled inactive on the wiki staff page and automatically have the "Inactive" tag on their user page. However, bureaucrats should take the time to listen to any suggestions or recommendations of potential candidates brought forth by the other current members. Furthermore, they should also run background checks (i.e., logs or prior punishments on this wiki) on said candidates before consideration. |
| 12. | Rules for Bureaucrats | Even bureaucrats are not above or immune to the rules, especially Staff Rules 4, 5, 6, and 8. If a bureaucrat has abused their power or has broken a rule, members of the staff must use the opportunity to call them out on the wiki forums with full factual information of what rules they violated to ensure accountability. | 6. | Community Association and Controversy | As it should be known, the Funkipedia Mods Wiki has been changing its ways on the topic of association with the FNF Community and remaining its stance neutral when possible (with the exception of the Hall Of Fame and user blocking). With that in mind, controversy, and other terms that dwell in more on opinionated stances throughout the wiki are prohibited and can only be included for clarity. Do not involve the wiki in any problems that can be deemed personal. We do not delete mod pages due to personal vendettas or because "the creator is known for being problematic", as this would make us take a stance on something we should not take. | Any cases that involve clearing information due to personal problems will be treated as vandalism. The offending user will receive a partial block. |
