Funkscop is a mod directed by Mystisk, Ian, and Akhirio. It is primarily based on the webseries Petscop.
The mod's menus are near-direct recreations of Petscop, complete with a Story Mode overworld and 3D models rendered in real-time.
There are numerous secret songs, most of which are accessible via inputting codes into the Sound Test, and most of which become available in Freeplay when unlocked.
Provided via "IMPORTANT NOTE.png" is a link to an accompanying Neocities page, which presents itself as if Funkscop existed in place of Petscop.

Gameplay Mechanics[]
- Health Drain: During Obscured, Marvin drains the player's health while singing.
- Glitching Notes: Also During Obscured, The notes become glitched. They turn into sprites from Petscop. these include: P2 to talk, the blocks with letters, and Pen, Amber and Toneth's sprites and some Even Care sprites.
- "Funk. For. Baby.": For part of Needles, the incoming notes on the player's side change to literal music notes. You are not allowed to miss the music notes.

The following passage serves as the description for both the mod's GameBanana page and its Game Jolt page.
According to content found in a copy of the lost game, the companies Garalina and Nifteam made a game whose latest version (as far as is known) dates back to 1997.
We assembled a research team to restore the gameplay and content of the game, and successfully shared a compilation of our findings so far.
Be aware that all is not what it seems, and there is more going on than meets the eye. As the game itself suggests, "It's a growing organism".

Trivia (General)[]
- The sound test contains the following references:
- If the "Care says 'Bye-bye'" sound effect is spammed for around 1 minute, and then the "Care says 'Uh-oh'" sound effect is played, a hidden loading screen for Investigate will be displayed, and the player is then taken to the song. This references a similar event in Petscop 17 where the code is used to access the scene from the song.
- The code for Petscop 2 (050917) references the upload date of the Pyrocynical video "Petscop: The Best Game You've Never Played" (September 5th, 2017).
- The code for C++ (231088) references the initial Japanese release date of Super Mario Bros. 3 (October 23rd, 1988).
- Justisaac, the composer of C++, was unaware of this reference prior to the mod's release.[9]
- During Quitter, the "Exit to menu" option in the pause menu is replaced with "Quit", which automatically closes the game upon being selected. If the player tries to go to Character Editor or Chart Editor, they will be prevented from doing so. Dying and pressing ESC just restarts the song, so the only exit is to either choose to quit or complete the song.
- Impatience restarts the game every time it's completed. The reason for this is unknown.
- When Mint appears in Delivery, the "Pizzatastic!" rating is changed to "BURGERTASTIC".
- The pause menu text is also changed from "Hurry up and deliver those pizzas." to "Hurry up and deliver thoseBURGER".
- Petsog contains the following references:
- The song overall appears to be based on "Fazbars" from Funkin' at Freddy's.
- At timestamps 0:45-0:57, the song quotes Soul Tails' section of "Triple Trouble" from Vs. Sonic.Exe.
- At timestamps 1:16-1:29, the song quotes "Thorns" from the base game of Friday Night Funkin'.
- Petscop 2 references the "Duck Sound" from Pewdiepie's outro, also known as "Child Protective Services Theme Song" by Nero's Day at Disneyland.
- The creator of Petscop has publicly acknowledged and praised Funkscop[10], as well as noting that the song C++ brought new attention to the Mario comic it was based on.[11]
