Mad Virus Attack is a mod created by Power Room Studio. The mod centers around 8-BIT, a character from Brawl Stars with many other reskins surrounding him.
Story[]
After a nice afternoon in the local Starr Park Arcade, known simply to be Starrcade, Boyfriend and Girlfriend come across an abandoned arcade machine once walking past a dumpster. Upon investigating it, they soon find themselves trapped into a strange video game, and are forced to rap battle their way out through the pesky Virus' schemes and forms an unlikely alliance.[1] Once the first song finishes, 8-BIT was able to hold in the struggles against the virus, and ends the song in piece. However, a mysterious entity is summoned out of aa small folder, later reveling himself to be Virus, who challenges Boyfriend to a rap battle. The song ends, and the ending screen implies that both Girlfriend and Boyfriend made it out of the cursed arcade cabinet in one piece, despite Virus' attempts to terminate the two.
As of V2, the story ends here.
Development[]
Before release, Power Room Studio was founded when Rusron found John uploading old song teasers on twitter. When AguaCrunch found both, he saw that the vocals were noticeably missing in the teasers so he offered help in adding some. The rest of the developers found their way throughout Twitter or the Friday Night Funkin' modding server[2][3].
Overall, the mod took a total of 11 months for the devs to release a demo for the mod.[4], given that the comment was released over 4 months ago prior to demo release.
On the 30th of January in 2022, the 1st demo of Mad Virus Attack released, featuring new menu layouts, songs, 1 of the story mode songs, new character designs, etc.
In the future, a 2nd demo is set to release in the future. As shown at F3, it's planned to release in July 2022 or August, Since then, the mod failed to reach their initial deadlines.
The mod did however, released the update on 25th of February, 2023 on Gamejolt, and later released alternative download links on Gamebanana and Google Drive Alike, with and without assets included.

Virus 8-BIT or simply Virus, is a reskin of 8-BIT that could've been acquired in Brawl Stars by purchasing the Skin with 299 Gems (later 199 Gems, then 149 Gems). He appears very briefly during D1SC0, but is otherwise an opponent in INTOXIC8, and Y1PB34T.

His up pose replaces his face with a giant magenta and grayish colored boom box with his right hand missing, and right pose recoloring his V to red and changing both of his arms to a full magenta color, replacing his left eye with a warning and right eye with a cross symbol, his teeth changing to a sharp red color while severe glitch effects follow. At a brief milli-second, sharp magenta colored teeth surrounding his entire face also show up.
In his normal state, he appears as a black arcade cabinet with his coin slot taped up and neon green facial features and green vein-like lines sprouting out from the eyes. He has lime green arms with black chain bracelets with spikes of the same color as the arms, as well as a V symbol on the top part of the cabinet. He also has 4 spider leg segments colored magenta.

She also has multiple black belts on her body, from her waist to her upper arms.
Personality[]
In the mod, Colette is given self awareness on her current affairs, being nothing more then a series of files within the mod's data. This is implied in much of the dialogue. This also becomes a problem in one of the dialogue conversations, describing much of the consequences of staying in the same environment for too long. She also likes to play pranks on the player from time to time, such as pouring sulfuric acid and faking it as hot chocolate.
Trivia[]
- Colette mentions that she is part of the mod's code and therefore, could have access to any of it's files. However, most files are harmless and won't do any sigificant damage to the user's PC.
- Colette points out that the mod's lead programmer (ZackDroid) listens to the same two songs nonstop. These songs are Till Depth Do Us Apart and Hero Mode Rocket 4, both from Splatoon 3.

Collette: Wooh, congrats! You found an easter-egg!
Collette: Or, well, I guess you this is a state used by the lead programmer so he could discourage his own loneliness.
Collette: Because there is no internet! And he is a loner. Apparently. not sure how I know about this information.
Collette: Either way, you should feel lucky. There is only a 25% chance of finding this!
Collette: Name's Colette! Normally I spend my days obsessing over over Brawlers. Like the ones in this game! And Brawl Stars.
Collette: But now I'm stuck in the files, for some reason. With absolutely no way out.
Collette: Hehehe, oh well! If you ever feel lonely, keep rebooting the game! There is always a chance I will show up!
Collette: HiiI!!~ Wanna know a random fact?
Collette: I have a bunny Suit!
Collette: No, I'm not gonna wear it for you, creep.
Collette: Get out.
Collette: I'm actually just three sprites combined into one.
Collette: Amazing, right? Hehehe~ Programming can do wonders!
Collette: Hey! I made some hot cocoa. Want some? It's been really cold here.
Collette: I hope you like it...
Collette: ...Pfttttt, HAHAHAHA! DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WAS COCOA?
Collette: YOU'RE WRONG! SULFIRIC ACID! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Collette: You're back!! Hello~ I was feeling lonely here by myself...
Collette: Alone in the code, ya know...
Collette: That reminds me, since I'm in your computer, I technically have access to your files!
Collette: Don't worry though. I would never mess with your privacy like that.
Collette: Welp, I'm tired. See you later, [Device Name]!
Collette: Hey! Didja know know that the lead programmer listens to the same two songs for hours nonstop?
Collette: They're Till Depth Do Us Apart and Hero Mode Rocket 4 from Splatoon 3!
Collette: I hope that is some good insight that you definitely asked for!
Collette: ...You were not supposed to see that.
Collette: You what? I know what you're thinking. I do, really.
Collette: It's not the first time I've seen you look at me like this.
Collette: How do you think I feel? Living every single day of my life, being completely judged for my actions?
Collette: Everyone is ALWAYS like "Oh, Colette, you should give others a break! You are too clingy, too much of a fangirl"!
Collette: YEAH, YOU WOULD BE TOO IF YOU WERE IN MY SITUATION.
Collette: I don't have ANYONE. I never HAD anyone.
Collette: And now I'm stuck in this STUPID GAME, with no way out. I don't even know how I got here.
Collette: Every passing second, I have to entertain myself in this dumb void.
Collette: You see this black screen behind me? That's what I have to put up with. All day, every day.
Collette: What makes it even WORSE is that I sometimes get glimpses of actual lively parts of this world, only to be blocked off.
Collette: Always some dumb invisible wall blocking me off from freedom.
Collette: ...Hahaha. HAHAHAHAHA. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEEEEEE.
Collette: DO YOU SEE IT NOW? Do you see how MISERABLE this place makes me?
Collette: The only joy I get in this living hell is doing what I love.
Collette: And it turns out, now I can't even DO that without being stared at.
Collette: YOU did this. YOU are the reason I am clinically insane.
Collette: I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING THIS EMPTY. I NEED TO FEEL SOMETHING
Collette: You mom is sooo short that she needs a ladder to get into a chair. (Repeat multiple times)
