Fan-Made

WHAT THE FUCK, THAT'S MY CHARACTER!! - Gary

This is an unofficial fan-made mod of a specific official mod. This mod is non-canon to the official mod unless stated by the original creators of the official mods.

This page is for SugarRatio's reanimated versions' of popular mods to look more like the Friday Night Funkin art style. So far, there are three done (Zardy, Ruv, and Hex, respectively), but due to the very straightforward and simple nature of these mods, they will all be listed here.

Characters[]

Reanimated Zardy[]

Original version: Zardy

Differences[]

  • Reanimated Zardy has much thicker lines and slightly exaggerated proportions.
  • The spritesheet has 4 sprites per pose instead of the original's 3 (apart from the reanimated up pose).
  • Reanimated Zardy also has much more dynamic and smooth movement than the original.
    • However, the speed seems to be a little slower by comparison.
    • It also incorporates a lot of squash-and-stretch for its animation, so he looks a bit bouncy...
  • With the singing poses, Zardy also moves smoothly rather than shaking quickly.
  • Zardy only has four fingers in the reanimated version, just like Reanimated Ruv.

Trivia[]

  • Reanimated Zardy has been used in one of Swankybox's (the creator of Zardy's Maze and the lead director and animator of Vs. Zardy,) thumbnails.[1]
  • SugarRatio worked on the jumpscare scenes[2] for the Bushwhack update, making this the first time a reanimator has contributed to an official mod.
    • Zardy's jumpscare more closely resembles the reanimation rather than the original design.

Reanimated Ruv[]

Original version: Ruv

Differences[]

  • His lines are thicker and he's taller too, so he actually looks closer to being 8'11" when his legs are bent.
  • The poses are more dynamic-looking.
  • He also isn't always in a 3-quarter view.
  • He quickly gets into a pose, rather than with instantaneous change.
  • Bottom parts of his hat conform to gravity.
  • Ruv only has four fingers in the reanimated version, like with Reanimated Zardy.
  • Ruv now looks as if he is screaming into his mic, which could potentially explain why the screen shakes in the mod.

Reanimated Hex[]

Original version: Hex

Note: SugarRatio hasn't made a reanimation for Hex's songs "Glitcher", or anything from Hex's Weekend update.

Differences[]

  • Hex is much slimmer, and has longer antennae.
  • Hex's face is angled slightly differently.
  • The "16" on his shirt is now smaller.
  • The arrows on Hex's face are slimmer.
  • Hex's original big black joints have been turned gray, and they've become smaller.
  • Hex's TV head actually follows the geometric properties, since the sides of his head has a vanishing point, making his head look more 3D.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the original Hex, this reanimated version of him has an animated left note pose.
  • Reanimated Hex's down pose slightly resembles Enrico Pucci's pose from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean as stated from Mike Geno's Twitter post.[3]
  • The Hex Reanimated Mod was made with support from YingYang, the creator of the Hex mod himself.

Trivia (General)[]

  • SugarRatio has stated that a Sarvente reanimation is extremely unlikely, due to how complicated her design is.
  • SugarRatio has said that they won't be doing Tricky or Whitty for reanimations as they get enough love and fame from the community. What also might not help is that Whitty was already in an accurate style to begin with, while Tricky's rendition resembles the style in his source series, Madness Combat.
  • SugarRatio has said that they have only done the reanimations for fun and that they'll only choose what to reanimate, if the mod doesn't get enough love from the community.
  • SugarRatio has renamed their mods from "Remasters" to "Reanimated" due to the mod genre becoming a comparison between one another.[4]
