The Cyclops formerly known as Speed.GIF (Vs. Cyclops) is a mod owned by powpow, and was originally created by DeltaB. The mod centres around Cyclops who serves as the main antagonist, along with other opponents from Sonic-related media currently.

Cyclops is a character created by Crazii11, and modded in by powpow and DeltaB. Formally known as "The Cyclops" to all humans who gazed upon him in the real world. Cyclops is one of many primordial black holes formed during the Big Bang but the only recorded sentient to make his presence be known. Cyclops is known for his manipulative tactics such as mind control and shapeshifting and taking control of anyone that tries to stand in his way, adding them as a flayed member of his hive-mind. He takes what was the souls of the people he kills and converts them into raw power for his own gain.
Appearance[]
Cyclops, at first, looks like Sonic from Sonic CD turned to the side, but then he reveals his face, revealing a black and white glove, an almost eye burning shade of blue for his quills, and long legs we never get to see end. The most noticeable feature is that a shadow covers his entire face except for a single eye (and sometimes a sharp jawline).
In Control (Loaded), he is drawn to Echo's style, having a differently-shaped eye, and faces more to the player.
In Instigation, he appears pixelated, looking up at Fatal Error, before later transforming into him, albeit as his head with a singular eye and red teeth.
In Manipulated, he appears extremely agitated as his mouth is present, showing human teeth and an extended jaw.
His old iconic design has his skin to skintone rather than black and his eye being shaped differently than round in the current design.

- The creator of Cyclops did not expect it to get as popular as it did.
- Where the GIF actually comes from is currently unknown, but it presumably comes from Crazii11's account.
- Cyclops is the third character whose defeat icon is not seen due to health drain. The first being Pibby Mordecai and the second being Donald.
- This also applies to cyclops in Control Loaded.
- "Cyclops" is not called "Speed.gif" as DeltaB says in a comment. Speed.GIF is only the mod name.
- "Cyclops" and "Cyclops Loaded" are completely separate entities
- It is been confirmed by Powpow in a discord message that Cyclops would use social medias if one of his vessels used them.
- It is also been said that he would probably use the social medias' default profile pictures
- If enough energy is built up into his own being, he gets ability to use dark matter moves. Allowing him to control his own strength for a limited amount of time.

Tails.JPEG is Tails controlled/changed by Cyclops, seen aiding him by messing with the strumline, and now appearing as an opponent alongside him in Control (Loaded).
Appearance[]
Tails.JPEG appears as a Tails version of Cyclops as his face and torso are covered in darkness, including his legs and arms. Only a single white eye with a black iris peeps out of the darkness. His tails are there but can't be seen due to the darkness
When messing the strumline, he appears completely obscured only having his eye viewable. The old appearance of this had his teeth visible, and he had more dark orange fur.

Schoolhouse Sonic is Sonic seen and appears in the educational SEGA game Sonic's Schoolhouse where he teaches kids writing, math, reading, and spelling. He is the opponent in Schoolhouse, where he teaches Boyfriend and checks if he knows his math.

Schoolhouse Sonic is a 3D version of himself hailing from the Schoolhouse game, having a round model and diminutive features. He is also slightly grainy in quality. His old look has him darker in lighting and having an unmoving mouth, always locked in his smile. The model for this is also much more shiny.

Dark Sonic (ダークソニック Dāku Sonikku), also referred to as Dark Super Sonic (ダークスーパーソニック Dāku Sūpā Sonikku), is Sonic's transformation/variation of him that appeared in the anime adaptation of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Sonic X. Breach of Privacy[]
- During certain sections of Control, the song goes on for a bit, as it pulls up the original Speed.GIF (as seen in the gallery) using a photos app.
- Its not a photos app only tho, as it can open the gif in ANY editing software.
Arrow Screwage/Safeguard[]
- Tails or Knuckles are able to show up in Control, and are able to screw with the arrows' shape, similarly to the QT Mod. A red squiggly line can also be seen if the player tries to push Cyclops back. The player cannot push him back past the half way point.
No Misses[]
- In Control (Loaded), after Tails or Knuckles removes the health bar it is impossible to make a miss. One miss will cause a game over. The health bar does come back towards the end of the song, however.

- In Schoolhouse, there will be math questions that are either addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. Hope you studied your times tables!
Arrow Lag[]
- In Schoolhouse, Schoolhouse Sonic can stall the arrows' movement for a short period of time, which can easily mix up a player's rhythm.
Anti-Pause[]
- Pausing the game is impossible during Control. Closing the game won't do the trick either, as the game will continue to run in the background while Control is playing. However this was later removed in V2.

- Control also seems to have a leitmotif of Endless from Vs. Sonic.Exe, another creepypasta mod around Sonic.
- A meme version of the GIF was made at one point where it shows a set of numbers in the style of an IP Address at the top, with the song Faker from Vs. Sonic.Exe playing. If the player tries to type in these numbers into Google Earth or Google in general, it doesn't work. But, according to [en.ntunhs.net], it's somewhere in Sawmill Woods in Massachusetts.
- This mod is the first to actually open a photo or gif by itself.
- Depending on the type of scroll the player they have, a different character shows up. Tails is for upscroll, and Knuckles is for downscroll.
- Knuckles' design in the mod was inspired by analog horror jumpscares.[5]
- This is the third known mod to tamper with the pause button, the first one being Wednesday's Infidelity, and the second one being Funkin' at Freddy's. Despite this the gimmick was removed in the V2 demo.
- This mod is the first one (possibly) to collab/crossover with another mod that hasn't even been out, which is Fatal Files.
- It is also the second mod to collab with another EXE mod known as Horizon's Edge, the first one being Friday Night Funkin: Parallax before being delayed.
- Cyclops's down pose in Manipulation is a reference to the Sonic R Original Soundtrack Album artwork.
- There is an exe called GIF Opener witch it wont open. it is invisible but if you go to CyclopsV2/data and have hidden file on, you can see the GIF Opener. (its controlled by the JSON)
