Vs. Bambi: Strident Crisis is a mod that focuses on VS Bambi fantracks, by putting a lot of them into one mod, and giving them a story.
An unfinished 1.5 build was released, and the mod is currently being remastered.
Gameplay Mechanics[]
- In Overthink, Reality Breaking, Nomophobia, Kalapokiphobia and Hellbreaker: the screen shakes when Bambi sings, but Reality Breaking is to a lesser extent than the others and Hellbreaker is much more powerful.
- In Overthink, Reality Breaking, Dismember and Opposition: The screen tilts left to right. But Dismember and Opposition is more powerful than the others.
- In Chapter 3, 4 and ???: The strikeline is modified. Reality Breaking: The strikeline floats and moves left to right. Dismember: The arrows rotates in different directions when the beat plays. Then the arrows rotate clockwise when Bambi sings onward. Nomophobia: The arrows move up and down in these group: Left and down, right and up. Kalampokiphobia: The arrows move left to right in an angle. Cheating and Unfairness are the same from the base mod. Opposition: The strikelines bunch up from left to right, then separates. Thearchy: The strikeline moves in a wavy motion. At first it's weak but it gets stronger. In the spammy part of the song, the arrows move like in Unfairness but faster. Then it returns to normal. Phonophobia: The strikelines moves in different ways. The player's line moves in an oval, while the opponent's line move in a wavy motion all while it moves in a circle. Hellbreaker: The arrows are separated and moves in a ring motion horizontal, but it's much faster than Phonophobia.
Trivia[]
- In the comments section of the soundtrack upload for Prudence, Rareblin replied to KingKhanz's comment, clarifying that Sinjl and Bandit offered churgney gurgney 70$ to make a song for this mod, but ended up not getting the commission fulfilled due to an unknown reason unless stated by one of the three.
Cameos in Other Mods[]
- In Vs. Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition, Opposition Expunged and Bumbo appear in the "oc gang" image in the game files.
- In Funky Friday, Bumbo appears in the background named "Toasty’s Kitchen".
- He also appears as a drawing in the background in VS. Kirby Dave during Squirklewarp and Heavy Metal.
- Xpunged will be passed on to Vs. Dave & Bambi: Universe Eclipse Edition, directed by ScarX. he possibly will get a redesign again since he was confirmed to be unoriginal.
