− − Sonic.EXE is the central antagonist of the mod, and the main antagonist of the indie game series of the same name.

Appearance[]

− Sonic.EXE is similar to the classic Sonic but with several notable differences. He has a darker and more unkempt coat, his skin is paler than normal. He has black eyes, usually accompanied by red irises, although this may vary. His blood comes out of his eyes, as a result of a birthmark that constantly hurts his eyes.

− − Sonic is the main protagonist of the mod and his original franchise. In the mod, he appears as a playable character in Confronting Yourself where he tries to escape from Sonic.EXE.

Appearance[]

− Sonic is a short anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue quills and peach skin. He wears red shoes with white bands on them and white gloves. In this mod, he is constantly running so his legs are always in a constant swirling motion and later on at the end of the song, into a thin 8-shape.

− − All Stars Majin Sonic is the mod's second opponent is a Neo-like variant of Majin Sonic.

Appearance[]

− All Stars Majin Sonic has the same attributes as a normal Mazin, such as having a human face on Sonic's body, with the only differences being color. Instead of blue, he has a purplish hue, from his skin, quills, and even gloves. His quills are noticeably more straight and pointed and has bigger triangular black eyes. He wears a small top hat with a purple glowing band, dark purple shoes with a star design on the side, and a painted-on pink infinity symbol on his abdomen.

− − Hog is the current final opponent of the mod. He is a bootleg character of a pirated copy of Sonic the Hedgehog created by RblxTrex and has two forms, the other being a tall veiny creature named "Scorched".

Story[]

− An anonymous writer shared a story which involved a cartridge that they were given to by their father a few years ago when they were younger. They described their interest in how old game cartridges worked, checking lines of coding using a Devkit that they owned at the time. When they first got their hands on the cartridge, they analyzed its appearance. It looked like it had been used numerous times and stored poorly, as the sticker for the cover of the cartridge appeared to be ripped apart and old looking, as some areas looked yellow in color. The most important thing that they noticed was the title for the cartridge was missing words, only showing the word “Hog”.

− − With interest on what the contents of the game would provide them, they inserted the cartridge in their Mega Drive console which was attached to their computer and turned it on. As they were looking at the monitor they saw the basic things that you would see when starting up an original copy of Sonic the Hedgehog, showing Sonic running past the screen then revealing the Sega logo. As they went further on the game after pressing start on the Main Title, they noticed that the sprite for Sonic was different in appearance, showing a slightly altered version of Sonic, but with side tufts on their cheeks, arms colored the same as their body and black shoes. Confused at what they were seeing, they stopped the game and booted up the DevKit they owned and ran the game again. Curious of what the contents inside the game would show for them, they messed around with the in-game files and did some test plays. They started to notice that the game was glitching more but had no idea why, since they didn’t edit much of the files. They continued to look around in the files to see a solution but that turned out to be useless, as the game continued to look more corrupt than it originally was.

− − Eventually, the game started to glitch out heavily, as Sonic’s sprite started to look more mangled, they described it as the sprite looking more lankier and creepier, interpreting what they saw, they explained it looked like it’s eyes were darkened in color and their mouth showing sharp teeth. The game started to constantly give error messages saying “ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION$000010E”, as more popped up every few minutes. Soon enough the whole monitor was filled with error messages as their computer started to run very slowly, but something happened afterwards, they said the screen started to show a face, as the more it got clearer they explained that it looked like the Sonic sprite that they saw earlier but with more detail, showing it’s tooth filled smile and their dark, soul staring eyes.

− − The monitor suddenly cut to black, confused on what happened, they looked around and saw smoke coming out of the cartridge. It fried the cartridge, making it unusable.

Appearance[]

− Hog appears to look similar to Sonic with a few differences, such as having a rounded face akin to the old style of Sonic, three long whiskers on each side of his face, thin pupils, and having off-white socks and gloves with black shoes. His belly also has a small tuft of fur on it.

Hog/Scorched can teleport when walking around areas where nobody is looking at him. He could be far away from you but when you turn around a corner, he's suddenly there.

When Scorched is glitching, he can basically float and no-clip through surfaces, making walled off spaces useless.

Scorched can stretch his limbs farther to catch their victims mid chase.

Scorched can make their victims glitch their body, scrambling their body parts in random areas.

Scorched can manipulate body temperature to the point that can incinerate anyone who touches him.

Hog can manipulate objects in any way such as duplication, telekinesis or revert its original position and state.

Hog can alter his appearance and mimic another EXE, although it doesn’t fully copy the abilities that the original EXE has.

Hog’s own ability to glitch is highly unstable, meaning that sometimes his abilities don't work.

Hog is very gullible, any lies that you give him, he will sometimes take it as truth.

Hog can get shocked if thrown water at him, although it only happens if he is mid glitching.

Scorched’s eyes are very sensitive, meaning if flashing light on it’s eyes will blind him for a period of time.

Hog’s original design was supposed to have teeth underneath their eyelids, but eventually that changed for it to be hidden beneath their chin.

Hog’s thick eyeliners exist due to SolarDaily sketching Hog’s most recent design but keeping their original design’s eyes.

Hog’s side tufts were inspired by Lord X’s side tufts.

Hog’s mouth originally was supposed to split into two mid-transformation, but that was scrapped because his transformation barely shows much.

Hog does have a mouth, but it doesn’t show too often.

Scorched’s hands have 5 fingers, but the ring and middle fingers are merged into one, making it look like he has 4 fingers.

Scorched’s eyes are black because their pupils are very dilated.

Hog was supposed to be just a FNF concept, but eventually was turned into its own EXE.

− Boyfriend in this mod takes a whole new appearance, now wearing a white tee with a red star ring logo, blue pants, red and white shoes, and white gloves. He also has a set of headphones on his neck. His hair is noticeably darker and more puffier, and has a red cap with a Death Egg Robot-like color scheme.

− − In Endless, he now wears bright blue shades and wears a red ring necklace. He also now wears black fingerless gloves and his cap has a glowing blue angry face on the side. His mic is now red, with an angry face on it.

In both Kindling and Hill Of The Void, she is seen wearing a red shirt/blue skirt combo, blue shoes with a white stripe, and holding both a blue boombox and and Amy's hammer. Her hair is also puffy with a blue headband. She also has gold bands near her hands and gold earrings.

− − Scourge is an antagonist from the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie Comics. He is an evil version of Sonic from an alternate version of Mobius called "Moebius", where he rules with an iron fist and flaunts his power by beating people into submission. He's set to appear in Sonic.Exe: The Fanspation in a future update.
